    How's the NVH with the solids in those positions? I'm stock block SC'd with a stage two clutch and I rattle the back end pretty hard at parking lot speeds. Is the subframe bushing connection to the body enough to dampen out the harshness?
    BTW, I asked you a bunch of questions regarding being in emission zone and swaps when my engine blew last year. Many thanks to your team. Thank you for the support and enthusiasm helping me decide a direction. Wasn't ready for this yet and ended up putting a stock replacement back in, but sincerely appreciated the support and talking to folks who could discuss the minutiae required. Thanks so much.

      So, NVH is definitely going to increase going to solid aluminum. If you had a bone stock car and put them in I think it would be very noticeable. With a modified car with aftermarket exhaust and suspension it's already going to be quite a bit noisier than the stock setup so won't be as noticeable. The ideal customer for these bushings is the one that likes to track his car be it road coarse or drag and wants the advantages of keeping that rear in place for consistent traction. Or even the guy that drives on the street with occasional track time will also enjoy the benefits and would have to put up with more NVH. No problem on the other questions, we are here to help!

    I want to start this build so badly... Would love to see the rest of the build just to see how involved it is from fuel delivery to the wiring harness, throttle body options, ect.

    Great content as always guys! In case anyone is interested, a guy here on UA-cam by the name of buildingwithsean is doing a K swapped FRS. One of the most detailed if not the most detailed swap I've come across. Check him out.

    Do you have a kit that works with a auto 4l60e transmission for the frs

    for the ls swap, are you using the stock diff? and stock axles, hubs etc? because you are almost doubling the power and more than doubling the torque. in you exp how do the stock components hold up to these elevated levels of power and torque? and what breaks first? also is it drivable on stock rims and tyres or is the rear constantly stepping out of line?
    edit: if you go with the basic ls1 that is.....

    When are the next episodes?

  • @jeremydelledonne9858
    @jeremydelledonne9858 Рік тому

    If I may ask, if you’re installing these on the stock FRS diff does that mean you are using that rear end for the LS swap? Wouldn’t think for a second it would be strong enough to handle haha

    • @SikkyTV
      @SikkyTV  Рік тому

      They are actually fairly strong depending on use. If you’re planning on launching from a stand still with sticky tires like in a drag racing scenario then yes you will probably encounter failures but normal street tires and driving the tires break traction before the rear gets too stressed. We are certainly going to test that with this build so stay tuned!
