I'm enamored with the save at 1:49. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but it looked like he deliberately broke traction to keep from being launched off the left embankment. Smooth driving from some of dem bois... dey movin!

That was a great video, can’t help thinking that if 50% of the drivers went 25% slower then they would end up being 40% faster and have 100% of a car left at the end. Can’t beat a armchair expert…👍.

Great video. Four wheel drive is the way to go. When I had my Audi 4000 cs Quattro I felt like there was no line on the street I could not take.
Man I wish they’d do this in the states. Problem is as soon as someone gets hurt you’ve got lawsuits flying everywhere

These cars are ridiculously quick, can't imagine going that fast on those roads! Just out of curiosity, what's the interval between cars? Gotta get the spectators out of the way!
There's 1 minute between each car👍
Actually it's two minute intervals, or three minutes if the weather is really poor. I'm sure it varies locally but this is standard for sanctioned rallies.

What do rally fans think they're doing when the cars crash/roll near them, attacking enemy lines? I mean, panic attacks, screaming and shouting,, hand gestures all over the place, guys falling down on their own, complete surrounding of the car even if it tries to move again, acting like someone has just died at the slightest roll... It's in every modern rallying video.

Pourquoi les bédouins qui accourent viennent-ils prêter main forte aux pilotes après un accident ? C'est dommage. Pourquoi ne les laissent-ils pas crever ou brûler vifs dans leur voiture ? C'est ça la beauté du sport. Le public risque d'être déçu et de casser leurs sièges. Ne pensez-vous pas ?

The FWD cars look pathetic compared to the abilities of the 4WD cars.

I bet it is a challenge in itself just to cross the finish line without a damaged car! I would be proud of myself just to make it from point a to point b, and still have a drivable car!
you most likely would finish well in the final results. because all the other drivers damaged their cars so badly, even IF they could finish the race, it would be at a MUCH slower time.the secret is to NEVER drive over your skill level or capabilities of the car.because most, if not all the drivers who do crash out of the race & NEVER finish the damn race.
Hat's off to that purple car that is just blasting through these rallies.

These drivers are absolutely bonkers. It blows my mind to see how they take on those roads full blast and keep those cars on a leash, except for the times they completely trash them!
