Love the video. Thank you for putting it up. I've been a rally fan for five years now. Never been to a race in person. Im from America. Have learned how to drive a rally car many years ago, thats what got me into these videos. What are some of the locations for these videos?
It's from all over Sweden, mostly around the southern parts around lake Vättern! If you google the names of the videos on the channel you might find where they took place.
Fasen, har kikat rallyvideos sen jag var typ 5 bast på 90-talet, och undrar om inte detta är den bästa kompilationen jag har sett. Enormt stor elogé för jobbet!
I feel like the fans helping out is becoming commonplace maybe after what happened during Group B. Course stricter rules on crowd control was important, but you at least have the fans helping the drivers in the event of a crash. At least when it came to Volvo they made sure they're cars were built to handle a crash. ensuring the safety of the people inside.
@@Mister_mem394 that year in sweden a driver died after hitting a tree in a very high speed but it is very rare that sombody dies. He was the first driver in 17 years in sweden to die in a crash. Something went wrong just before the corner resulting in the tragisk outcome.
@@Mister_mem394 Chill dude, there has been 4 driver/co-driver deaths in the last 30 years (1993, 2005, 2006, 2023). The sport has only become safer and safer if you look at the stats.
Ich finde das so gut wie die Leute alle sofort kommen um zu helfen, und bringen sich teilweise selbst in Gefahr!!! Ich glaube und denke wenn diese Leute nicht wären dann wäre das alles viel schwerer zu meistern! HOCHGRADIGEN RESPEKT!!!!
The spectators start moving towards the crashed cars before they stop crashing. It's like they have some kind of premonition the crash is coming. And then the herd moves in unison towards their life purpose. 😂
great video overall! the editing really captures the excitement of the rally, and those crashes were something else. but honestly, i feel like sometimes the focus on crashes overshadows the skill involved in rally driving. like, isn’t it about the precision and control just as much as the action? just a thought!
It takes F1 twenty minutes to clear a car that has broken down in a safe place on the track, with flatbeds and cranes. Meanwhile, a bunch of highschoolers armed with a townstrap will run right in the middle of where 15 previous cars have gone off and have it cleared in under a minute.
I'm wondering if a course can be up to 20 miles do they specifically assign a specific set of guys on a certain corner or whatever to if in trouble they run into help? This all amazes me and i insanely love it.
While rally racing can be exhilarating to watch, it's essential to approach content creation with a focus on safety and responsible driving. Highlighting the excitement and skill of rally drivers is great, but it's crucial to avoid glorifying crashes or risky driving behaviors.
I feel like its equal parts "dudes that genuinely care about the drivers and just wanting to clear the course so pileups won't happen" and "dudes who whip out their phones the second they carnage of any kind".
great video, really loved the editing and the selection of clips! however, i can't help but feel that some of the crashes were a bit glorified. while it's exciting to watch, should we really be celebrating those moments? just a thought!
Imagine being a Rally driver, You had a crash. You can't even sort things out, like check if you are unharmed, ask your copilot if he is injured, or turn the ignition off, … … because 0.02 Seconds after the crash a horde of people is rattling the door, banging on the windows and rocking the car back and forth like crazy and shout "are you okay are you okay are you okay" louder and louder. I do no know what would frighten me more: The crash or the folks which are "there to help".
are they assigned in specific locations all because of this? Like a course being sometimes up to 20 miles i cant imagine there is people among all 20 miles to help if in trouble?
@@Benjamin-mz1mb they're just spectators, a lot of the time they just gather at tricky corners or there are designated spectator areas and cars just happen to crash there
I've never thought to ask, but how much time is there usually between cars? When there's a bad wreck, are there people to alert the officials? Or the cars behind? I'm sure there are lonely sections along the course with no spectators, so if a car crashes in one of those, are other drivers always mentally prepared to see a wrecked car as they fly around a corner?

I think that's the reason many of those guys go to watch in the first place. You might be able to tell their excitement, haha
The sense of urgency from the spectators is actually incredible.

Are these accidents God's way of reminding us of His power?
I think God uses such events to remind us of our weakness before His power
Does God really want to remind us by causing these accidents? Or is it just a coincidence?
Is it fair to attribute accidents to God’s will, or could there be other factors at play here?
Could it be that these accidents are just random occurrences, not necessarily a sign from God?
I don't believe these accidents are a message from God. They seem more like unfortunate events caused by human error.

The corner workers need to to be more careful, because the drivers don’t care if they kill them.

Usually at least one minute between each starting vehicle.
