I honestly do not know why you only have 1.4 K subscribers, as I don't know many other Scottish Landscape photographers that put as much effort into making images, on this platform, yet another cracking vlog, Cliff. keep up the great work,👍
Thank you so much for your kind words. 👍
What a great visual journey of this wonderful location 👍
Beautiful! Thank you Cliff
top stuff
Great stuff this. What month was this, you don't seem to have been eaten by the beasties? Glencoe is one of my favourites, but as a Scot I like it quieter, up at Torridon. Ssssshhhh... don't tell anybody. Try it if you haven't already. I am just going to check out your other bits of work. Glad I have found you. Top man!
Edit: I have just seen your library of videos. I am not worthy. You have seen much, much more than me. A goldmine of viewing.
@@300ShadesofGreen Torridon! It’s where I learned to climb many many moons ago. Done a vlog up on Beinn Alligin, it was one of my first vlogs, terrible as it is as I was just starting vlogs on UA-cam.
Need a return…
Thanks for the kind comment 👍
I echo the last comment Cliff 1.4k can only go up and up, i have walked and climbed in Glencoe since i was 13yrs old many moons ago but still go 2 or 3 times a year, you are an inspiration i only play at taking pics by your standards i keep going live in hope for some good images thanks agian.A
Thank you Alex. That means a lot. Thank you for your kind words.
Great vlog thanks for sharing ...
Just subscribed to your channel,my fiancee recommended your channel
Thank you 🙏
Loved, following.
Hi mate. I’ve stumbled around Glencoe once before and came home disappointed cos I didn’t know my way around.
I came across this vlog on Wednesday night and was inspired. I rose at 5 on Thursday and was at the lone tree for sunrise. I then followed your what three words directions and came home with some absolute belters.
Just the intro to the area I needed and I will be back soon to further explore
Thanks for this video. Loved it. ❤
WOW! great to know its working...thank you.
A great video with a great selection of locations, especially the tip going under the road at the 3 meetings waterfall, I will be trying that next week, many thanks
Phenomenal sites in this video. Around what date were you here with the streams and waterfalls so full, around mid-October?
The River Coe is various every day in Glencoe. Especially in Autumn. Usually a day after rain fall it can be full. I like it when it’s quite low this is normally around mid feb to end of feb when it’s still cold and little ice melt from higher ground.
I dont think in all the years I have been Photographing in Glencoe I have seen as much water coming over the meeting of the three waters. The rivers and waterfalls looked magical, worth the soaking, Cliff. The colours on the river Coe below the Sisters was terrific as was the mood on the Mountains.
Another great video pal
Thank you so much for making this. I wondered how you find out about these places and tips. The what3words is great.
Great video once again Cliff and what fantastic images, your knowledge of the area is just mind blowing. I look forward to your next one. 👍🏻
Thanks for the shout out Cliff. I was over at Loch Ba at the sunrise as well. I was round the other side at the same time getting photos of the black mount. Great vlog as always.👍
Nice to meet you David on a great location too.
I hope your images turned out ok as the weather was terrible but, turned out beautiful for Rannoch moor the next day.
s bends -- that is a full river LOL. Thanks for the tip about the bridge at 3 waters meet -- i will try it, especially if raining which is 80% of the time LOL
Absolutely stunning images Cliff.Just subscribed and 👍🏻 Looking forward to seeing more of my beautiful homeland in your future videos!💙Thanks for sharing.
I’m just down from the Aonach Eagach in Glencoe, the Vlog will be out this week. Thank you for your kind comments and the Sub.👍
I agree with Ivie's comment here below. With the content you are making, you really deserve a couple of K subscribers !!! Once again, stunning locations (especially the one under the A82), even more amazing pictures and looking forward to the snowy period !!. Keep it up, Cliff !!!
Great work Cliff. Three trips to Glencoe and you have opened my eyes to what I have missed. I shall make up for it on my next visit in April 23'. Love what you are doing.
Found your channel..... just brilliant...thank you..hoping to do a road trip to Scotland very soon ... Great putting what3words link...so helpful...Your explanation of how you compose and settings used...no fuss just fact...really great...And at the end...beautiful Images.. Thank you so much... Spike
Lochan NaH B is such a beauty - A great adventure, Cliff - Love the video
Hi Cliff, just wanted to say thanks for this video as I used it to find these trees last week when I was in Glencoe. really appreciate that you share locations (albeit I'm sure you keep some to yourself) rather than many pros who try not to divulge any location info. unless it's so obvious it can't be hidden. I had a great day dodging showers exploring and finding a number of these locations so really appreciate your help. You definitely deserve more subscribers!
Thank you! I will always share my locations as I think there for everyone to visit and try out there photography. Again thank you for your kind words.
Looks like you were there on Monday 17th as we were, but if not it was a very similar day. I really wish I had known about that spot under the bridge! 😆
Wicked video.
fantastic video, your photos are excellent, you make it look so easy. your locations are first class. your content beats hands down most others who photograph this outstanding area. Thank you for the effort put in to making these videos.
Thanks Cliff, great presentation and enjoyed watching this. I'm actually heading there shortly for a few days in March. I'm excited and this has got me fizzing even more. Subscribed and look forward to seeing more from you.
Thank you Nick 👍 just recovering from a shoulder injury. Back out very soon.
Stunning as alwaysCliff, it's hard to pick a favourite, maybe the 's' bends. Great music btw.
Wow! What fantastic photos you caught there Cliff, “ TREEmendous” pardon the pun lol but they were just amazing, you captured the atmosphere brilliantly. Thank you for showing us this, I really enjoyed it 😁👍
Brilliant video, i'm off up to scotland in a few days , woop ! did you have what 3 words on a video ?
Great scenery, to be honest I'd rather see more of it in this doc; as Americans my wife and I were here 30 years ago, all the way down to Loch Etive through Glen Etive.
We fell in love with it and will return someday.
I have plenty of episodes on Glencoe. I do need to cover more on Glen Etive though. Thank you.
Thanks much; I will see them.@@CliffHands
Haste ye back !
Is there a time of day you recommend for the S bend of the river? Thank you for taking the time to do all this!
Morning. This way you will have light on the three sisters.
Although there is hardly any water flow in summer unless a down poor of rain.
Months to visit: February and then September onwards. The midges are bad this time of year too.
Another great video Cliff, myself and my girlfriend have some days off in February so I’ve suggested we get up to Glencoe for some photography and hopefully there’ll still be some snow around 👍 Thanks for the what3words
Hi Cliff love your work unfortunately I don't have 3 words and found it difficult to use could you please put a Google pin on the location please
Please keep it up
Well done for revealing the S-bends location. Been there a dozen times with not a single photographer in sight. Not any more. Clown.
In glencoe for a few days right now so mapped all these on w3w and can’t get the net there so can’t use them!!! Unless I’m being thick 😂
Service provider? Best way if your struggling for service is screen shot it for when your out and about…
Failing that Google map it…
What location you after? Il try to explain it.
It is pronounced ya clee uh shuh 😁
Where are all locations, dowloaded app but no idea how this is working...
If you have downloaded the what 3 words app it’s quite simple to use. You then type in the words I display on my channel into the search bar and it will show you where it is..
Where are the words I should type in search bar ?@@CliffHands
Another super vlog Cliff always very interesting. As a complete tyro could you explain what the 3 words crumples.belief.trumet. mean, I've not a clue.
Hi Marella.
You have an option to use the App or the web based application platform called what three words. It’s a location application to pin point a location.
If you put any of the words highlighted in my video into the search it will show you were I was.
See the link: what3words.com/
It’s a free app to use.
@@CliffHands I personally dont have a phone but i have heard of the app. DO you select the words when you select the small box on the map or are they predetermined. ?
@@CliffHands Thank you Cliff for clearing that up for me much appreciated.
@@duncansteward4331 The developer has divided the whole planet into 3m squares each having a unique set of three words. It is now a standard location method for the UK emergency services including the locations of defibrillators. It isn’t 100% correct all the time but is very useful nonetheless.
