- Stresslite make precast concrete for all building needs but this video shows how precast can be used to make a 3 story house go up in a difficult spot, surrounded by nearby houses, with minimum disruption and really quickly. The house that is built, is better, stronger, cheaper and more valuable long term due to the benefits brought by building with precast concrete.

Me too. 23 years erecting precast. Unfortunately all the work was in London and I live in Devon and with covid it's just made it virtually impossible for me to risk going there. Maybe one day things will get better and I can go back to work.

They could make what ever you want I suppose. The engineers who design the precast are quite clever.
When will there be pre-made houses? I imagine choosing a house online and they drop it by a big helicopter and voala my house is there in 1 day.
What length and what type of rebar was used in order to assemble the walls onto the foundation?

Rebar placed into hoops cast into panel. Foamed shuttered then grouted with GP grout rapid set grout or fixotropic.
What is the cost per m2 for a precast concrete home.

@Dave Chappelle you mean width? 80mm concrete, 290mm polyurethane, then 80mm concrete sandwich panels
@@jasonhunter6125 3" of concrete on either side and 11.5" of insulation? Sounds a bit overkill on the insulation and too light on the concrete. I would rather go with a 4" Concrete 3" insulation and 6" concrete.

@@jasonhunter6125 Do you use sandwich panels for just the external walls and then a different type of wall for the internal walls? Or are your external and internal walls both sandwich panels? Also is it difficult to install services into these walls?
