This video was shot a few weeks before Typhoon Odette hit Cebu. Happy to say that the fence had no issues with the typhoon. If you want to donate to the victims of typhoon odette. We setup a relief operation @sharephilippines on instagram instagram.com/sharephilippines?
@@thatguyslater your welcome po! I like the way you tested items and ⚒️ tools, testing how much appliances can consumed electricity.Hope you’ll do more reviews and testing for Filipinos 🇵🇭
It's a real innovation tlaga, it takes a lot of months or even a year or two to complete a whole house. With this kind of easy setup, mas tipid sa budget, mabilis matapos mga buildings & for sure mas smooth ang walls. No need for more masonry.
I've been following your channel since you discussed the liteblock. I love the innovation, creativity, and usefulness and it's Ph-made. I see a bright future sir! :)
First off, Slater can have a side-career doing tv commercials with his sense of creativity and cinematography. Second, how pristine are the countertops to be able to scoop coffee from it. Looking forward as well to a house update after Odette.
While watching this, I can't but think of using this for an A frame cabin. Imagine how may shelters can be built in a mater of hours! A very timely video indeed!
Best Civil Engineer Influencer or content creator ever! Maka inspire for thesis imong mga innovations pero mas na inspire ko sa pag build nimo sa imong company ❤
This is Lightweight Precast! Not new in Philippine Construction Industry, majority of high-rise towers in Metro Manila are using Vanjoin. We tried to do the same! inspired from Vanjoin in my previous work. Panel interior is styrofoam coated with wire mesh and some special fluid material... exterior is about an inch concrete mixed with (secret) fibers! Same rebars in CHB wall were inside our panel for tensile strength with some protruding to connect with adjacent panels. Straight to finish surface, fire rated, reduced water absorption and we reduced the weight like around 30-50%!
Our home renovation started Nov 2021. I wish that we could've used liteblock but since it's not easily available here, we used the traditional chb + cement mix. Hopefully liteblock will be available just like a CHB anywhere!
Informative kaau imung mga vlog Engineer super like your wife also Miss Kryz the only couple vlogger nga kanunay ko ga atang sa mga updates videos.. Since Pbb days pa jd ka Engineer a very smart person jd
For real walang halong echos o kaplastikan Ganto sana lahat ng nag bubusiness may care sa costumers hindi lang basta kikita.sana dumami branches neto all around PH at ma distribute mga products ng liteblock/litecast sa mga hardware di kana mahihirapan mag semento fire proof na easy to install pa..dahil sa invention na to daming matutulungan at matibay tatagal pa ang bahay less gastos.👏👌👍
as an engineer sobrang nakakaproud po kapag may mga kapwa engineer who invent products that is labor efficient Isa po talaga sa goal ko yung kahit makawitness man lang ng whole process of constructing kahit residential lang na made out of lite blocks, naalala ko Isa yung product na ito sa prinesent ko sa boss ko na alternative sa CHB kasi gusto ng client namin matibay raw at hindi basta basta... hopefully in the near future makawitness ako ng construction na gamit yung lite blocks 😊😊😊
I’m so impressed. Someday if mag build kog house sa Pinas, I will absolutely choose ur Liteblocks material. It’s basically same2 as brick’s in USA. And my house here it’s all bricks. This is the perfect safest wall sa Cebu. I adored you as an engineer, bcoz my husband is engineer too! Thanks u for sharing your demonstration Sir Slater! Big helps for planning a good foundations.
Sir, can you create a cost comparison for a 1-storey residential 5x6m house. Using conventional CHB, plastering, foundation, columns, beam, delivery cost, labor cost etc versus if it was using Litecast. Location lets say Bulacan. How much would one Filipino family would have saved?
I hope your products will reach our area... Planning to build a low cost house in the future... For a single mom ofw like me, who cannot afford costly building materials and labor, I think this will be the answer to my dream of building a simple house.
How about the disadvantages and limitations? Has it gone through testings and research by reputable groups of experts? How about the cost? I like your light concrete (is it even a concrete?) more than the materials used in modular housings. I plan to build my house in Sta. Fe soon and I would love to use your new material.
I am really eyeing on liteblock once we extend our home! Gusto ko talaga. Sana afford namin. Haha I think super proud sa imo imong alma mater and imong mga profs sa college. 😁 They must be!
That’s great that you can do that. But can you do that in Cebu only or are you nation wide? How expensive is your shipping and who would do the installation that knows this system? Would it be normal laborers that have only used hollow blocks or would your people see the process all the way through?
Wow. I want to build a house using that in Bago, Negros Occidental. I am US based but planning to go to Bago when Omicron and less covid viruses are the norm. I’m your new subscriber. Thanks, Slater.
Didn't know kasama pala sya sa PbB I Watched his channel bec of his wife Kris. Ngayn k lang kasi ako nakakita ng Chinese blogger in the industry. New watcher ako ng you tube. The couples are really good people.
Saan po makakahanap ng future hubby na tulad niyo? The videos you're making is very practical, informative and economical. Thank you for these awesome videos plus the budol finds. Love it. More power Engr. Slater 👏🤞🙏
🤗 Nakaka amaze talaga ang video ad! 👏☺️ kudos editing team and Ms. Kryz & Mr. Slater sa video shots! galing! 🤩 kaka elib din syempre sa innovation what lite block would bring, waiting na magkaron kayo ng branch sa Manila. skyfam sakalam.
The liteblock can be a replacement for a traditional house right? I wanna suggest to build shipping containers structures more typhoon proof structures typhoon window proof windows too. Thank you take care. I hope all construction business owners build homes for typhoon proof windows hurricane typhoon proof structures buildings etc.for all Philippine Islands & Sabah Islands Spratley Islands too! Great videos Slater Young.
Is this available in Manila? Would be great if it does. Thanks Slater, we’ve been wanting to see if we can afford liteblock in building our house in the Philippines. By the way, We’ve been watching your vlog since you started. Thanks for your tips. God bless!
Wow! Im interested for that! May be i will be considering this instead of Cubo modular? But we will see upon budgets and design...sana in the future din puwedeng mag deliver sa whole Philippines
Cost comparison and Strength test Vid po sana SIr Slater! The future is bright for construction innovation in the Philippines mapanood sana ng mga Engineering students ito😁
Hi sir, theres no fixing on footing? Is it just relying on the soil backfill? Im just wondering for lateral movement like earthquake where soil creates some gaps on edges it will create space for the walls to fall or lumaylay? Anyway, good innovation in construction in the Philippines. 👍
The bolts look like stainless steel threaded rods. Understandable since bolts have their standard length. Might be good if may option to use high-tensile threaded rods. This is gonna be great though. Imagine building your house faster para may chance pa for actual adjustments vs plans.

Will this material be able to withstand a 250-280 storm wind gusts?
How about earthquake have you simulate it on, let's say 8-10 magnitude? But this is nice! 👍
Good Job Slater! Such a genius! 👍👌
would have been nice if you showed the walls after typhoon odette.
Hi slater, just like to ask if how much the cost of light block (small) & light block fence? Thank u
The only engineer in Philippines that I watched regularly because of his educational and practical tips 👍
Salamat!

Is there any cement at the base; or any other support ? Lightweight makes it a high-wind hazard like Odette-level storm.
