Brother I don’t want to argue for the sake of arguing, I really don’t. I’m watching this because I’m trying to workout the tension within me between loving my enemies and fighting for what is right.
When you say unity I want to bring up verse such as “What unity is there between light and dark?” Or “I came not to bring peace but a sword.”
I would love a future video explaining how to love wicked people while still fighting against their deeds and exposing them.
What if your enemies are people who are ruining our mental health with what they do? What if your enemies are not in the past but in your everyday, day after day? What if your enemies are only doing what they do to be mean and hurtful? What if what they do impacts your peace and quiet in your home and you can't get away from it? What if you have searched and can't find a stick of common ground with your enemies? What if you have tried to find that common ground or show peace and try to offer them your friendship but they would rather hate you and menace you than take an olive branch? I have tried with these people and they do not want to change. They are not changing over time. They are becoming worse, and more entrenched in their hatred. Unfortunately, these are the kind of people around us today. They live for revenge because it is the only hit of dopamine they get all day.
When you bless your enemy, they no longer affect you. Let God be the judge.

Bad people miss out on a lot
This is my problem exactly. My enemy doesn’t want peace. Can I pray and bless him from afar, or do I HAVE to build a relationship with him?

Thank you for thinking through these possibilities! The Spirit prompted me to actively show someone in my neighborhood love who has been waving a flag for an ideology I consider harmful, and I've been struggling with what to do. I'm not sure how to pray for them. What you said about trying to understand someone else's perspective resonates.
