The 2 Series Coupe is the smallest Coupe in the BMW range, it retains its traditional front engined rear wheel drive layout and promises to be a real drivers car. With current fuel prices… it definitely makes sense 😂 so badly wanted a petrol, but I drive 500+ miles a week and I’m a student, so 220D made sense

Does a diesel make sense in 2022? Absolutely. More than ever
Odd that the 220d went from 1 exhaust on pre 2015 models, to 2 exhausts on 15-20 and now back to 1 for 22 and 23 models. Have to say I prefer the 15-20 era with the duel exhausts. This new one feels like it’s trying to hard to be an M2

220 petrol or 220 d?? which would you prefer???
Both are very good, it depends on your mileage. Petrol if you don't do mega miles, Diesel if you do mega miles.

Diesel is ATM 21p more expensive a litre than petrol so not sure if there is any real savings over petrol when you factor all that in plus the adblue ..you can spec the 220i petrol with more bells and whistles too for same price as the diesel so based on that.. 220i wins for me.

Looks so sexy on every angles. Love it!!.. Perfect companion to my F30. 220d makes perfect sense with higher torque & easy on my wallet.
