My cream cat Mango is the cuddliest but also the dumbest cat. He will meow loudly as he hunts, but misses the toy entirely and hits a wall. My tortie cat Mew is friendly but does have a spiciness to her. She's the smartest girl who knows what we're saying and hunts like a ninja. So not sure about evidence but it feels to me there's something to these personality stereotypes!
Two orange fellows, both rural rescues, one turns 15 and one turns 14 this year. The 15 year old has the almost solid orange medium length coat with white toes and bib, lots of different color hairs intermingled on his bottle brush tail, and the 14 year old is shorthair subtly striped Mackeral with an almost brown back. Both my Dad and a friend from creative writers group have said I treat my guys, "The G-men" since both their names begin with G, more like roommates than pets. Wish I could post some pictures here of the older one looking for all the world like, yes there really is only one communal brain cell, and years earlier being such a literally laid back and tolerant 'foster dad' cat as kittens attacked both his ears and tail.
I have a diluted orange, fluffy cat. He is the sweetest. He’s so needy. He’s way more attached to me than my husband, like he will follow me everywhere even into the shower and has to sleep with me. He’s super chatty, cuddly (and I mean smother cuddles), he’s very playful, scare’s easily and shy around new people. He’s honestly my big fluffy baby. Please do more videos like this!
As a teen, I had a male orange cat that bounded across the lawn to greet me and was very affectionate. He's the only cat I've known that really "connected" with those around him. He found a mate, brought her home, was monogamous and even helped take care of the kittens. RIP Tarkus.
Aww, I had one follow me around and entire lake once. He was super fluffy and so sweet. When I sat down he crawled up into my lap and some ducks started swimming towards me in the lake. When they got closer he pounced towards them like he was protecting me. He followed me around the entire thing and it was a big lake. So funny because he was trying to be inconspicuous and every time I would turn around to look at him he would stop and look away. I think he thought I was his gf 😍
My sweet orange gal was the absolute friendliest cat I've ever had also!! She also ran to me when I came home and followed me everywhere. RIP to my lil Chopper Wonder Cat. RIP Tarkus also!
@@jenshepard8552 I think there's really something to this orange cat thing. Maybe Chopper and Tarkus are together lapping up celestial milk up yonder :)
I've had many cats of all colours. My favourite was an orange male who I ran off my property for a year because my old black and white male didnt like him. Eventually I gave up, let him in the house and he never left, knew for a long time where he wanted to be. This 18 pounder loved everyone and everything. He would squeeze his arms around necks giving the best hugs and his purr was heard from one end of the house to the other, never heard a purr that loud from any other cat. He lived 16 yrs and made me laugh every day.

I live in a trailer park, and have seen cats roaming around. My mom always taught me to be nice to animals. I leave my window open in the living room, so I can meet these little babies. If they want to come in, they can. I've met a little ginger cutie who is very loving. I love my little fur babies!
My darling orange female cat. I was so unimpressed when she came to me as a stray. She completely wound herself around my heart, she acted as "mother/big sister" to any other animal she encountered. She was a "spritzer," who leapt, danced, threw herself onto chairs and into my arms like a ballet dancer leaping to her partner. I loved this charming, delightful, stubborn little girl who will be in my heart forever.

First time cat owners and we are blown away by the behaviour of our orange cat. Extremely friendly to all passing people and neighbours, no issue with dogs, always talking to anything that will listen. Rolls on his back for a tummy rub to anybody that might want to help him out with such. Found him as a stray in our rural area. We suspect he was driven here and kicked out of the car because he had an expensive nasal, ear polyp problem. All our neighbors are cat owners and say they have never met a cat like him. We are very lucky, if a little lighter in pocket but our life is much richer for him. Thanks for the video. Very interesting facts.
@@seviregis7441 Thanks for your concern. We would never force a cat to stay indoors if they wanted to go out. He had to stay in for many months when we first got him due to his illness and he audibly pined to go out. With great worry and fear we put the cat flap in and he now enjoys freedom to come and go most times. He never seems to go more than a few tens of meters away from the home. We live on an area raised up from the road with a few more homes and he enjoys just hanging around here (his patch). He gets on well with the neighbours other dogs and cats and even a rabbit. We only have one small dead end road going past our homes, we do have many tourists on foot walking past because of the rural scenic area we live in and it's at the base of some small mountain walks. I obviously don't know where you live and don't know if your ways of thinking differ? We decided that if we were lucky enough to get a cat that we would not keep it in because of our fears and worries. If the cat wanted to go out and seemed like his behaviour was handling it well, ie, not coming home damaged from fighting, or going on the missing list for days then we would allow him his freedom. So far, so perfect (purrfect even. Lol. Sorry). He actually still does spend most of a 24 hour day indoors with us as he loves both his sleep and attention, boy does he love his attention. We are in England by the way. Once again, thanks for the concern and advice :-). P.S. Sorry for any un noticed typos.

Had a orange tabby his name was Butterball. He lived to 17 ( 2001-2018), 23 pounds. Friendliest, sweetest, most lovable cat i have every been around. I miss him dearly. He stopped eating and it was time for him to enter cat heaven.
I rescued two male orange tabby kittens, brothers, six years ago. They were polar opposites personality wise. The smaller of the two was outgoing, talkative and always up to something. Big brother was reserved, would sit and watch everything. Sadly, we lost the little guy last October, he passed from an infection. I had never believed animals could grieve until I saw what big brother was going through. We've helped each other through his loss and the shy introvert is now very affectionate, sleeps beside me, talks constantly...
I believe some animals grieve and some more likely don't because there are other animals in the house. My cats never grieved for the 3 I had to put down, but then again they weren't by themselves.
@@sylviacarlson3561 All grieves in their own way, as humans do. The other cats that appeared to not be grieving could have done so privately or used interactions with other cats or human "owner" to deal with their grief. Example, white people sob at funerals while black people laugh and has fun at funerals. Same way with all living souls. All handles their emotions differently.
Oh, they definitely grieve. We had 3 cats, and 2 were siblings (male, female). Last July, we lost Callie due to kidney disease. Her brother definitely showed signs of grieving. First, he sat and watched out the front door for days on end, then he started laying in all of the same places that his sister would lay.
@@marciturner4980 Haaa, I think I know what you're saying, BUTT it's a little bemusing to allow for individual cats to grieve "in their own way" and then paint (all) "white people" & (all) "black people" with two such distinct broad brushes. B-)
I have a 2yr old orange tabby by the name of Ares. He's really quiet. Rarely meows or makes any sounds. Very clever and affectionate in his own way. I absolutely adore him. My little ray of sunshine 🧡

My orange cat "Merlin" was a human trapped in a cat body. He was the most polite, gentile, erudite little fur ball ever. He graced us with his presence for 12 years but then had to move on. The family was devastated. He was a big part of the emotional make up of the family and still to this day, 15 years later, he is missed.
I had four cats wander to my mobile home in the summer of '17 and two are still with me, one being an orange tabby I named "Thomas". Like your description, he is the most gentle, affectionate, intelligent, and laid back boy who harmonizes with three others so well. He, too, seems like a human in a feline body. I'm guessing his age to now be about 8 or so. I don't take their love for granted as I used to, these are such fine creatures with high measures of life-affirming goodness.
I had a wonderful orange boy named Rudy a long time ago in the 90s. He was a huge cat but not a Maine coon. His paws were so big he liked to catch spitballs. He loved the light dot game as well. Some folks who knew him called him "kanga Rudy" because of the way his tail curled as he hopped up the stairs. He looked like a kangaroo pup. We miss him but maybe he"ll come back....❤
My orange male tabby so far is the best cat I’ve ever had. He’s friendly and gets along well with my grandkids. Especially when they were just crawling around the floor. He’s never scratched or bit any of them and when he’s had enough he just leaves.

Hi Lisa. I am so sorry you lost your cat. We love our animals! Can I ask you what you fed him since he did live so long? I am trying so hard to feed my cats good food.
I have a female orange cat. She's noticeably smaller than my two tortoiseshells and tends to be much friendlier. Though this makes sense, she lived in an Arby's dumpster for almost a year before she was taken in by a rescue, and I adopted her. I can imagine her running up to people to look cute and get bits of their roast beef, fries, etc.

I've known many cats over the years including two orange ones. The orange ones were by far the most talkative, and actually turn & face you when talking, and they talk back at you if you say something to them. . Always intrigued me.
Great video. I’ve had cats for 50 years, I’ve also fostered many kittens. Right now I have a long-haired, orange cat, a rescue. Of course he is by far the sweetest cuddliest cat I have ever had. He loves everyone and can never get pet enough. My tuxedo, male cat who passed away was also incredibly affectionate. But this boy tops the mall he just Hass to be near me, yes, I’d like to hear more talk about orange cats, purebred’s, which I don’t believe in,metc
Rescue an orange kitten from a shelter ❤ After loosing my orange cat of 17 years to kidney failure, I was so upset. 😢 Only orange will do after having an orange cat❤ I dearly miss my orange cat, still. But my orange kitten brings back memories and makes new ones 😊❤ There is nothing that compares to an orange cat😊❤ They are smarter, more affectionate and are more talkative and appreciative 😊❤ We are inseparable 😊❤
My orange & white cat was pale-orange & had a heart-shaped pale orange spot on a white body with other patches & an orange face except for a large white blaze on his forehead and nose & jowls. I almost called him "Peaches" but because of his brilliant yellow eyes, I called him Sunshine ...also for his sunny disposition & brilliant funny personality. When he was learning to climb trees as a kitten he would scamper halfway up a branch & then look mischievously back at me like "Look at me, I did it"!!! He wrestled with my Jack Russel female terrier when they were both young & until he passed. He only lived 2 & 1/2 years because he had a lung condition (like herpes in the lungs) that he needed to be nebulized for... 1-2 times per day & had to be trained to take ten breaths from one puff. But he lived every day scampering about like he was a normal cat (until he got winded) & played with a kind of joy that was infectious & made us laugh. He seemed to grasp at life with extra-enthusiasm, more than most of my other cats. His best buddy besides Tinkerbell our dog, was Buttercup, a real striped Orange Tabby boy. Buttercup mourned his passing for at least five years & prowled around the house yowling for his best friend. I've had tons of cats & he was the most friendly I have to say. We still miss him. He was like the kid we never had.
I had a small female cat. Even though she was tiny, she was very protective of me. Presently I have a huge male orange cat. He is extremely gentle and loving.
I understand the presenter's genetic info on the ratio of orange females, but in my experience it's much higher than just 20% of orange cats being females. I've had 3 orange females, the first I got 20 yrs along with an unrelated male orange, had no idea for yrs she was supposedly rare or uncommon gender-wise. After she died I looked for another orange female and had a rather substantial number to pick from, but had to look around a bit to find one with medium length fur (I like that length best). About 6 months ago I looked for another orange female (my second one died suddenly of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy at age 9) and found one with fair ease in my area. I'm now looking for an orange male but not having great luck in my area (I adopt young or adult cats, not kittens). I do think there may be something about orange females being more present in rural areas, as my first and third female orangies were from foothill towns, the second from a suburban city. Also, since orange cat in general, and orange females in particular, are the subject of lots of social media, viral videos, etc. these days, I'm wondering it people are letting their orange females and males breed more instead of automatically sterilizing them early so we're seeing more orange females and increasing the ratio.

I've got a "little" orange guy named Joe (okay, he is enormous now) that I saw on the street one day while checking my mail. He was a tiny baby, maybe 3 or 4 months old and he was about 10 yards away from me, just frolicking and having a great time rolling around in the dirt like a maniac, seemingly oblivious that I was even there. I opened my mailbox, took the mail out, and realized he was now sitting quietly by my feet looking up at me. I skritched his head and said "how's it goin' little dude" and walked to my house. As I reached for the doorknob, I noticed he was sitting quietly by my feet again, looking at me, then looking at the door, then looking at me, then looking at the door and I realized he wanted to come in. I didn't know what to do, but I turned to look behind me and realized it was getting dark and where I live, it's not safe to let cats run around at night. We've got predatory hawks and owls and sometimes even a coyote. And if that wasn't enough, there were some really ominous storm clouds rolling in. I actually lol'd at the sheer over-the-top ridiculousness of the ominous storm clouds, but decided I'd take the hint and let him in. If there weren't any problems with my other two guys, he could stay the night and I'd let him go back to his life in the morning. So he comes in, my other two cats immediately run over and they check each other out for a minute. One was slightly standoffish but nothing major and the other was like "hey dude, come on in!" and with that, the little orange dude made one quick circuit of the entire house and then jumped up on the couch, curled up next to me, put his little paw on my arm and fell asleep. He was clearly not feral and had to be someone's indoor/outdoor cat because he was the healthiest, cleanest kitty I'd ever seen. He was definitely well fed and a rock solid tube of cat muscle. The next morning, I assumed he'd be begging to go back to his life. But when I opened the door, he immediately ran behind it so I couldn't throw him out. I later surmised that he'd been trying to re-home himself for awhile and was used to getting kicked out. Anyway, he clearly didn't want to leave, so I figured I'd let him stay while I tried to find whose kitteh he was. I asked all my neighbors, and EVERY one of them knew exactly what cat I was talking about, a couple of them even mentioned they'd considered keeping him themselves but nobody knew where he came from. So I put pics of him up on the local lost pet pages on facebook and craig's list and put a big cardboard sign in my yard and watched the nearby telephone poles for lost cat notices but two months went by and nobody claimed him. And he never showed the slightest interest in going outside and continued to actively run behind the door whenever I opened it so he couldn't be kicked out. Then one day a surprising thing happened. I'd received a fedex package the day before and just realized they'd put a delivery notice sticker on my screen door. I looked and saw all three cats were playing in the next room, so I figured I could open the door just enough to reach around and snag the sticker before they noticed what I was doing (the other two WILL bolt out the door if I'm not careful). As I did this, I saw an orange blur in my peripheral vision zip out the door. Of course I didn't have any pants or shoes on. So I'm frantically throwing on pants and getting my shoes on, it feels like it's taking an eternity and the whole time I'm in a panic thinking "he's gone. He's a mile away by now. I'm never going to see him again." I get my shoes on, jump up and burst out of the door and immediately screech to a halt like a cartoon character because there he is. Four feet away from the door, sitting with his back to me, just checkin' out some rock that apparently was relevant to his interests. So I'm standing there pondering my options and I'm thinking "do I tackle him and traumatize us both, or do I... talk to him?" So, assuming I was going to be chasing him down the street in the next second, against my better judgement, I decided on the latter and calmly said "hey little dude, let's go back inside." He immediately turns around, meows and RUNS to me. I pick him up and he is purring like a motorboat. As I carried him inside, I realized I didn't need to look for his home any more because he was already home. I feel like the only reason he ran out the door was because he thought I was going out and he wanted come with me. And that's the story of Joe. And then he grew into a behemoth that is literally three times the weight of the other two cats. He also seems more like a dog than a cat. When anyone at all comes over, they are his new best friend. He literally loves everyone he meets and will run up to greet them. I have to make sure any repair guys aren't allergic to cats because there is no keeping him away from them. I've had him for over five years now and he still has zero interest in going outside. I guess he realizes how good he has it. So yeah, he is definitely not dumb. :)
I hope you don't mind, but I Cc'd your post and put it on my FB page. Your story is so heart-warming and so well written! You need to be a writer; honestly! Start with Little Joe..., oh, and I did give you "credit" as author the best I could, also referencing this youtube.

We recently found ourselves becoming the humans of an orange tabby (cream). Long to short, He had been living on the streets but we noticed his front paws were very badly deformed. He had no cat toes at all on either of his front feet. And where we live there are a lot of feral cats and we feared for his safety because he had no way to really defend himself. We had him properly vetted. He was chipped but it came back to a dead end. He's at least 12. He's teeny tiny. Barely 8lbs after 3 months of medicating him for hyperthyroid and feeding him high quality food. The vet thinks that he lost his front feet to a lawn mower or had gotten up under a car to stay warm and lost them to a fan blade or a fan belt.😢 But he has a HUGE personality and is the most cuddly social sweet cat we have ever had. He lives to be around people and talks a lot! Our previous cats, both black, were not interested in people at all, except for meal time. So now the teeny tiny little squatter is living his best life, cuddling with humans and stalking the securely fenced yard. 😊

The girl cat is definitely sassier than the boy and the boy loves to snuggle more. They are both very friendly and quite smart, in my opinion.
I have a female orange tabby, and she is like no other cat I’ve ever had. She will talk to me. I mean a conversation- of sorts. She’s very special. I’m a long haul truck driver and she travels the country with me. She’s leash trained so she loves to explore the different places we go. I think that being with me 24/7, has really made an impact on how she socializes with me. But it’s interesting to see her with other people. She’s polite but really turns her nose up to them. Anyway, loved you video. I subscribed.

I, for years that orange cats were always male. When my farrier told me he had a female orange cat 🐈 I told him that’s impossible. Just like I thought all calicos were female. Thank you for this informational video.
I like this video. My big orange (16lb) boy. Is the friendliest. He doesn't fight any of my other cats which are female. He is slow in manner and walk. I would love to see more of these videos as I love the "sciency" breakdown.
All my best most loving cats were orange male tabbies. I had one orange tabby who almost single handedly tamed two different feral female kittens just by being kind and patient with them. Another seemed to know exactly when I needed a cat cuddle. I’ve had other cats but only the male orange tabbies in my life remain forever in my heart. Shout out to Buffy, Sunshine, Dewey, Mike & Grover the kitten whisperer.

My ginger girl had one black freckle when she was a kitten, but by the time she was an adult her entire nose was black. It was super cute and veterinarians loved to make jokes about it. She also had the black spots on her gums.
Of all the ferals (long-established feral colony) we've had experience with over the 25+ years we've lived in this house, we never had one adopt us until Riley came along! She came to us as a little orange tabby kitten, eating chicken feed in the yard because she was starving. We fed and cared for her, and she has grown into a beautiful, sweet, smart adult cat. She has a very strong personality, and has a "favorite human;" I am honored to say it is me! :-) She has been spayed, and has gotten her shots. She does live outside (by her choice), but our property is big enough that she is safe here. She does "overnight" in our garage where she has a few lovely beds from which to choose, and a "cat condo." She's smart enough to know where "her" living space is. She is amazingly intelligent.
Great name for a cat! Long ago, I had an orange cat named Butterscotch Sundae. We called him Sundae. He was the smartest of all the cats I've had and even seemed human at times.

I have an orange female tabby. I remember vaguely when I happened upon her in an animal shelter one of the attendants referred to her as semi-rare, but I didn't realize how un common an occurrence this was until researching it later. I do find the uniqueness of her being an orange tabby seems to fit in with her overall make up as she is an exceptional kitty all around. It became recognizable early-on that she has an above average intelligence, and (judging from her responses) seems to understand a lot of what I say when talking to her. She also has manners and shies away from anything that would be considered unladylike behavior, etc. I would probably refer to her as a blonde with orange tabby markings. She is one of the sweetest people you could hope to meet. She's a god send!
@@lindaschultz7900 I had a similar experience when I adopted a little brother for my orange tabby Rasa Priya. She practically came unhinged and it really took me by surprise. I kept pleading with her to relent because Ahbimanu was just 4-weeks old. It took almost 2-months for her to accept him, but afterwards they have been just like brother & sister. I want to get more kitties, but it will have to wait until I move out of my studio apt, and get a bigger place. An upstairs & downstairs would be ideal!
I had a similar experience with an orange female tabby. She was exceptionally friendly and gentle Now I understand why the vet was impressed too. Thanks for your video. I look forward to learning more about felines
We are an orange cat family. Our first cat Jack was orange , he was part Maine Coon. He was so smart and so amazingly friendly. He came to us at 4 years old, we adopted him from his original owners who sadly has declawed him. So of course he was an indoor cat. He sadly passed 2 years ago from stomach cancer. He was 13 years old. We were devastated to the point we thought we'd never heal. After a while I convinced my hubby to think about getting another cat. I went to our local pound and there was a little 8 week old orange kitten. He came home with me that day. It's been a year and a half and Charlie is now a spoiled orange baby. He's also an indoor cat but unlike Jack he has his claws. He is so loving! He licks our faces like a dog lol. He plays fetch with his toys and he is very vocal. I honestly can say that in my opinion there is nothing at all like an orange cat!
Thank you ! I have my first orange 🍊 cat !! He is very sensitive and he has delicate emotions:) he’s also very loving and affectionate. I just love ❤️ him to bits
I just recently got my first orange 🧡 kitten!! I got her off the side of the road. Someone had dumped her out there because it was way too far from any house and there were no other cats around (siblings, Mama etc..). She was beside a pond full of lily pads and hiding scared out of her mind under a bush. She was well fed, tame and had no fleas or ticks. People should be ashamed of dumping kittens off on roads. I'm happy I got her and she gives me sugars every day thanking me for rescuing her.
@@clairestephens4916. World needs more people like yourself. My sister is in Arkansas and works for herself w & other volunteer organizations that help “Throw Aways”. It’s disgusting how often she’s found cats 🐱 of all sizes/colors/ages/health. She’s saved over 200 in 3 yrs, vet’s checked, spayed & adopted but only to good homes she’s seen herself. She herself has 14cats now of her own. Every little life matters. 😊❤
My 9 year old with austism absolutely adores our orange tabby Levi. He’s always been an affectionate, talkative cat. I’ve had him since he was about 6-8 weeks old and he’s now nearing 12. Only recently has he become extremely attached and attentive to my son. We lost my mil in January and it was just BEFORE this that Levi began heavily gravitating toward Caleb. Caleb was very close to my mil and I just know Levi sensed his grief and confusion at what was happening to his grandma. This cat has helped my little guy so much through loosing one of the most important people in his life. I’m blessed to have such a sweet soul to care for and to be loved on by.
I thought that first sentence was about a cat and I was like “how tf a cat get autism? How do you even diagnose that…” And yeah super sweet kitties are absolutely amazing companions through grief.
My cat is quite the abnormality. In her litter of three, both her and her sister were orange, and the male was solid black. She also got quite large, she finally started to sit around a consistent weight now that she's over a year old and she's about 12.5 pounds and quite tall compared to my friend's cats. Her behaviour is the best part, she's the most social and friendly animal I've ever seen and she LOVES to cuddle, plus she's extremely gentle when she plays and doesn't really use her claws. I've had her since she was a kitten and I legitimately don't know if she even learned to hiss, because she's never hissed at anyone or anything in her life. She doesn't even scope people out, when my door opens, she will run right to whoever is there, even strangers. People coming to my apartment always panic and try to close the door really quick because they think she's trying to run out, but she's just excited to see a new friend she can get pets from. She's fairly smart too, if I leave a window open, she'll sit in the window and meow at people walking by and then give them a look that often convinces people to come up to the window and play with her a bit. She knows the mannerisms that people find cute, and she uses that to get attention.
I have two orange cats that are litter mates and turned 15 in April. We like to say they behave like dogs. They come when you call them, they love to eat and are extremely friendly! One is very chatty and loves to sit in my lap. The other is quieter, but is the most mischievous. I find paw prints on the counter tops, but never see him up there. I adore them both!
Oranges are the best! The most affectionate cat I've ever had was an orange named Grendel. He lived to age 15 and died last month. I will always miss him.

When I was about 12 years old I found one of my best friends under a garage. My parents let me keep him. He was an orange Longhair tabby. The whole family grew to love him, he was a great cat.
I’ve had many orange cats, mostly long haired, Maine Coon types. They are just as you said, so silly, so interactive, and I’ve adored each and every one! My current one is Honey Bear, a classic tabby.

My male orange tabby was the smartest cat I've ever encountered. I considered him to be as smart as a dog. He would make great eye contact with me when he was "talking". He loved getting on top of the highest kitchen cabinets above the refrigerator so he could watch everything and everyone. He would always be hiding somewhere and attack my thighs when I got out of bed. I never knew where he would be but I knew he was going to bite my arse. I've never loved a cat as much as that one. He was so clever. I miss him. I hope you all enjoy your previous "angels" . Lol
Yes, I have a 5 year old ginger boy who I love dearly. He's very energetic and loves running off of walls! I loved this video and please continue to do more like it. 😺🐾🧡
Interesting, I've had 2 orange boys (at different times) that both could jump about 6 feet up a wall when chasing car headlights moving across it. I caught one of them on the kitchen counter eating a lasagna that was cooling there, all I could do was say, "now you're just being a stereotype."

I am 50 and had a lot of different cats in my life. I have to say the most loving and simply nicest behaved cats for us have been Orange males. Our oldest named Moe lived to 19 years old but passed away last year. He was like a puppy dog. Our new one Max is just as friendly. We love them.
I feel that way too about orange males! But my orange female turned out to be just a lovely (only had males before her). She passed at the ripe old age of 21. She was my shadow. Miss the hell out of her!
21! Amazing! My shadow girl passed last year at 18, and I miss her like crazy too! She was phenomenal! We are blessed to have had such gifts of these amazing beings in our lives who loved us well. 😊🥰❤️
My ginger cat moved in with me about a year ago. He had been living in my back yard. He only has one eye, I felt sorry for him-so I started feeding him. He is very sweet and loving and very vocal with a wide range of vocabulary and volumes. Sometimes, he yells. Sometimes, he whispers. But he's always talking.
My grandma and grandpa had a large, long haired male orange tabby named Whiskey. He looked like a maincoon. He had an awesome personality, loved the outdoors ,more than indoors, was very friendly to everyone! He lived to be 24 yrs old!
My nephew Cheddar is amazing. He moves furniture, carries on conversations, and is so loving and caring. He is an incredibly handsome and a real gentleman. He has little white boots or at least his fur looks like cute little boots. Thanks for the video.
The most magical cat I ever had was a big orange neutered tom, my Mr. Junior, who arrived in my backyard as an adult, immediately made friends, and took over the house. For seven years, he was King Cat - broke up the brawls between my two younger males, protected (and humped) my two girls, and generally ruled over the Herd, and was there for me whenever I was upset or down. He was an **amazing** cat. I adored him and was heartbroken when he passed at 18.
I am convinced that orange cats are the friendliest ones ever. My orange cat George was the nicest, most chill, and doglike of any cat I’ve ever had. He was the only barn cat we allowed around the kids.
Yes doglike! My orange girl was very doglike in a way. Every single person that met her loved her even if they were dog people and hated cats. She was THE BEST.
Excellent video -- super informative! My first two cats were orange brothers, both smart and friendly. One of them carried on conversations with me all day. In January, a female orange cat adopted me at the shelter -- walked up and introduced herself, so what could I say? The shelter said that she was found on the street with another cat, no chip. She is, indeed, small. The vet said that, at a little over one year now, she probably won't grow much bigger. He also said to expect her to have a spicy personality -- and she does! She enjoys playing, she likes solitary time, she likes the other cat (a black tabby shorthair), she hisses and growls at him, she shares her food, she hogs her food, she shares the bed, she chases the other cat off it. Her shelter name was Nutter Butter. I tried to rename her after a beach but, unfortunately, the name she responded to is stereotypical: Ginger. So I try to think of her as being named after a castaway on "Gilligan's Island." She's a sweet companion who sits next to me while I work on the computer.

I have two year old brother and sister orange tabby’s. They adopted me when they were 14 weeks old. They were the last two in the litter and I couldn’t break them up. My boy is very outgoing and cuddly. His sister is more stand-offish and cooler. They are really good together, very little territorialism, share all of their litter boxes and food bowls. My boy is much bigger than his sister. When I give Luna any attention he always shows up out of thin air for his share of love. Both sleep with me and sometimes that can be a bit ……. Tight at times.

I enjoyed your video, very interesting and informative. We had rescued (yrs ago) an orange tabby (Ginger) that is a fixed female and loves everyone, wants to be on everybody’s lap. Doesn’t meet a stranger. She was also my precious husband’s nurse day and night for a year before he passed. She stayed with him wherever he’d go in our home. After he went Home, she grieved him for 3 months, ate very little, and lost weight. I figured she was mourning for him but I took her to the vets to make sure she was okay. After an examine, the vet said yes, she was grieving. We all grieved differently, our dog Jesse (became my shadow), Ginger and me! Thank for your video. God’s blessings. 🙏🏻✝️🙏🏻🐾🐈🐶🐾 Love my babies dearly.
I've had 3 ginger cats, only one left sadly. But they clearly had their own personality. The cat we still have is really smart. I always say he's to smart for his own wellbeing. I'm teaching him to talk with those pet buttons. So he will have something to focus on.

I raised many cats in my life, and I noticed that males tend to be friendlier than females, except when it comes to orange cats: both male and female cats that I had are really friendly. I recently rescued an orange female with some white in her coat and I swear she's like a dog in a cat's body. She's extremely friendly to a point where you think she has some hyperactivity disorder.

I have a female orange cat. Adopted her when she was around 3 months old. She was a feral kitty found outside a friend’s apartment building. She’s one of the most affectionate cats I’ve ever had. Love to cuddle and receive kisses and unlike most stray domestic short hairs, she’s not afraid of strangers at all.
My old man kitty (he is anywhere between 16-20 years old) Leo is an orange cat. I never knew about how affectionate orange cats were supposed to be before I got him. I can say he is super clingy to me and because I work from home, he is near me almost 24/7. My other cats like me, but not as much as he does. If he is not sitting on or near me, he is on his father.

I never cared for orange cats till I had one. I lived on a farm and there was a uniquely light tan/orange cat that was tame so I let him in the house during the day. One morning he didn't show up for breakfast. Sadly I never saw him again but about a month later one of the females gave birth to kittens and one was orange. It wasn't long after I moved off the farm and brought 12 cats with me. Turned out that of all these cats, who were totally house cats, the orange cat became the love of my life. He was the most affectionate of any of them. Sammy had one strange habit of putting his paw in the water and licked his paw. He always drank water that way.
I had an orange cat who I bought a water dispenser for. A 2 liter soda bottle screwed into the base, and it would always keep the bowl full. Cat refused to drink from it. He would jump up on the bathroom sink vanity while I brushed my teeth, so he could drink running water directly from the faucet. I also left a plastic juice glass full on the sink so he would drink from that. He was an indoor/outdoor cat and lived to be seventeen years old. After he was gone, I left the juice glass full of water all the time so if his spirit was in the house it could get a sip of water. 🐈
I have two 11 year old orange females from the same litter. Mom was calico and dad orange. They are both big girls. 16 pounds each. They are very sweet girls. Laid back but very vocal and devoted to each other.
I had a beautiful orange long haired male cat. I named him, 'Neo.' He was the sweetest, most loving and sociable cat ever! Everybody loved him and he loved everbody! He is sorely missed. Rest in peace, Neo - The Ultimate Cat!!!
My orange rescue female was a kitten when I got her. She is small, but has a few black whiskers and clearly black shading on her tail giving it an orange/light gray look. She is smart, friendly and jump extremely high chasing her toys. Great cat! Nice video...thanks
I’ve had many cats over my lifetime and did not have certain expectations for some and not for others. I’ve always assumed each cat was unique. Much to my surprise I’ve discovered after having 3 Tabbies that out of ALL the cats I’ve had they are by far the friendliest and most outgoing.
I had a long-haired ginger male tabby who passed years ago. He had a magnificent "lion's mane". He was more dog than cat. Whenever I called him by name he would immediately come to me. We had a game where I'd call him once from one corner of the yard, he'd come, then I'd trot over to the opposite corner, call him once, he'd come; over and over until I tired of the game and I would quit. I never taught him to do this and I only rewarded him with a "good boy" and a rub down his back - never any treats. Best pet I ever had! 😺
Calicos and the "Orange tabby" are a bit different. A true orange tabby cannot be a calico because the orange tabby is all orange with darker & lighter orange markings, but no other colors. Also btw, if you ever acquire a female orange tabby, don't spay her, as only 20% of all orange tabbys are female.@@jeffreywalters4222
I have an orange female cat that wandered up to my front deck when I lived in the country. She had already been spayed and was a chatterbox. She would hunt and eat mice, rats, moles, weasels, and grown rabbits. She is still alive today at the age of approximately 14 years old and she still has her loving personality. She still reminds me to get up and feed her breakfast, reminds me when it’s lunch and supper time. She is still as friendly, intelligent and fearless as ever.
Years ago when I lived in Maine, I adopted a cat who was an orange polydactyl. He was the absolutely sweetest cat, and I often felt like we communicated more effectively than with any other cat I've lived with. There's a special place in my heart for orange cats (and polydactyl cats, for that matter), and I will probably share my home with one again.
Coat types and markings really can be a *huge* rabbit hole of information (honestly, with a *lot* of animals that have been selectively bred by humans, but also just in general). It's incredibly weird and interesting stuff at times (definitely dry as a bone, too, but sometimes it do be like that), and I'm definitely into the idea of more cat genetic videos- all sorts welcome!
I remember seeing a picture of a dog years ago that was blue, it looked black, but it was actually incredibly dark blue. Similarly, often times "grey" cats aren't so much grey as a relatively equal mixture of black and white hairs spread across the body.
We have had 3 orange feral male cats we have rescued across the years. Without exception, they have been affectionate, goofy, social, friendly and silly. In others words delightful. Our other cats (various including a tabby, tortoiseshell, and a black and white cat) were/are all lovely, but the orange boys were something special 🥰🥰
Black and white cat breed is called Tuxedo. I had one for a while. Unless you are talking about a pure solid black, and a pure solid white cat. Then I don't know what breeds they are.
I found this information very interesting and helpful. I especially appreciate the info about the freckles being a normal thing for orange kitties. Thank you! 😊
We have a male orange cat he's a Big boy! He's also very affectionate and is kind of a neighborhood cat. He's always roaming around visiting people and hoping to get something from their grills. Thanks for the video...enjoyed watching!
A cream mother cat had 3 kittens in our barn 4 years ago. She was really small with long hair and very friendly. I was trying to get them in a shelter because my daughter and I are allergic to cats. Long story short, the poor mother got hit by a car and we brought the kittens (10 wks old) into the house. Fell in love and developed immunity to the allergies in about 2-3 weeks. The kittens were 1 long hair and 2 short hair. Each one has their own very different personality. My daughter took one and I have the other two. We just love 'em!!!

I was also allergic to cats as a child. My mother's friendhad an adult female, Lady, that I loved. I would go home with my eyes swollen shut and not able to breathe through my nose. It was not until a married someone with outside cats and had a kitten choose me as her person did I learn that if you have a very young kitten grow up around you that you develop an Immunity to cat allergies.
My orange cat was very intelligent, protective, territorial, and curious. The stories I have about him are nearly unbelievable to most.. because unlike most cat owners, I trained my cat like I would a dog, but he was the most well behaved, loyal cat I've associated with thus far.
@@Dandreadd my cat never sprayed, it wasn't allowed. He wasn't fixed till he was an adult who contributed to several litters, so maybe that had something to do with it. Idk, he was allowed outside a lot, in addition to camping, so maybe that stopped him from spraying indoors. I never dealt with that behavior. You could try catching him and then disciplining him so he knows it's bad. Like dogs, you can only correct behavior effectively if you catch them in the act.
@@Dandreaddwe had one that wasn't cut, he was the boss of our general area. One day he walked up to me while I was laying on the ground and sprayed me... So the next time I saw him outside, I whipped it out and returned the favour. He never sprayed inside again
It's sad that many people think only dogs can be trained. I have trained all my cats to do at least 2 tricks. You just need to know what motivates each one.
My neutered marmalade orange cat, Ambrose, is sprawling over my lap. I have found that Ambrose and my late little girl, Buggy, who was a tortoise shell with three orange brothers are significantly more affectionate than any other cats i have ever had. My cats have all been extremely affectionate with me (I have had 7 in my life time), but these orange guys LIVE TO LOVE. I am so happy to have found your channel.
I've always called orange tabbies peanut butter cats. Had one that was particularly plump, whom I called "Butter Tub". Since childhood, I've been partial to yellow tabbies, and have had several. Most have been very affectionate. One was quite aloof, however. And my most recent yellow tabby had a wonderful habit of licking my hand every time I petted him. In fact, that's what got him adopted out of the animal shelter. I was petting him, and he licked my hand. SOLD! He lived in luxury with me from 2009 until 2021, when he suddenly disappeared. I've had other nice kitties that weren't orange, and I'm a cat person in general. Even though we had dogs when I was growing up, I always gravitated toward the cats. My mother and maternal grandmother, the same way.
Absolutely do more like this. Our orange short-hair, Abby, found us and she had given us nothing but constant joy. She passed away suddenly during the pandemic cutting short at 9 years old. I thought I knew all that there was about orange cats, but I was pleasantly surprised to learn some new facts and background science.
Milo was a cool cat. He had a special bond with each member of our family and would even make his rounds every night, checking up on each of us. Awesome cat. He passed away at 16 years old.

Just stumbled unto this channel and couldn't help watching. I had a twenty year old orange cat and although I had always considered myself a "dog person" I loved that cat and will never forget what a powerfully wonderfully loyal and noble cat he was. After years of Quarty (he was a quart-sized cat, as in a fat cat) being gone I still think of him often. Great video, many thanks. Peace.
I had a twenty year old orange cat named Pumpkin. At about age 10 he found out that he had a voice. He would look around the house and call for me. He would sit on my lap then after a while get up and want to sit behind me. So I would sit in an uncomfortable position in order to accommodate him.
@@robertgadziola1601 The bond that can develop, their unique personality, and the wisdom they can acquire over time amazes me. My cat was diabetic for at least five years but that was no big deal for Quarty for he took everything in stride. He knew he needed his insulin to feel alright. Perhaps what's most memorable for me about Quarty is the way he died with such honor and grace; I get emotional thinking about it to this day. Thanks for sharing, Robert. Peace.
Well put together and fascinating video. I have owned two dilute orange cats and now know the correct term is "cream" (thanks!). My first was a male raised from a kitten in Oregon (he is deceased). My second is a female stray we found on the streets of Southern California. The interesting thing about the two is that they are SO similar in their personalities. Both are very vocal attention seekers who love to play and love dogs. I loved the bit you shared on the genetic probability of getting different colors and patterns.

So interesting! I had an orange (crream) female. Lost her last year to a lung problem at 14 years. She was the most affectionate and talkative cat I have ever had. I miss her so much! 😢
Thank you for this video!! I didn’t know most of it. My male orange cat looked deep into my eyes and touched my soul when I first saw him! It’s like they connect to their human through their eyes!! My cat loves all animals, even dogs, he asks me to walk him, and he isnt scared of the vacuum or loud noises! He’s my favorite!
My orange tabby 9-year-old is mean to all animals. Attacks and kills animals but never eats them, except for rabbits. With cats, he aggressively attacks them and runs them off while chasing them. But with dogs, he growls, and hisses, but never approaches them. He knows better to not aggressively attack me. I just don't get why he was never aggressive to this other orange "stray" tabby cat when he was around and on our own property. That's when I decided to take this stray cat in. Now my older cat regrets it in being friendly with this younger orange tabby cat. He is always aggressive to him. Younger orange tabby cat is too friendly and lovable. He kept getting into my older cat's face, wanting to constantly lay by him, play, eat in same bowl with him even though he has his own bowl to eat out of. When older cat sleeps, younger cat approaches him and starts licking his fur. Now the younger cat has become the older cat's shadow. Wherever he goes, the younger one instantly follows him. I should have named him Shadow even though he is orange instead of the name I gave and call him now. But I can't now since he already knows his new name and responds to it all the time. I guess I could nickname him Shadow.
Thank you so much. I didn't know about an orange cat being a rare female until I had a cat sitter after a year or so I had her who told me. I had my special, wonderful Makeral Maggie for 17 years. Adopted her at the pound and they said she was a year old and a stray. She was not feral. I often wondered who would have ever gave her up or what her first year entailed. They spayed her and called me and said she got the URI and did I still want her. I said of course and she recovered and I went and got her. I remember the first day looking in the cages to pick a cat and she looked depressed but jumped in my lap and I had never had a red cat before and fell in love with her instantly. I had to put her to sleep Feb. 4th as she was declining and as a cat mom you know when it's time. She had the freckled nose and was the smartest, most special loving girl and all the years when I would kiss and hug her 10x a day I always cherished her and never wanted to face the day when I'd lose her. But it happened and I cried my eyes out before and after and I'll always love my Maggie. I always have indoor cats. One time my daughter left the screen door ajar and we were outside with neighbors and when we came in I usually turn the TV on..so it was a Godsend that night that I heard her knocking at the door. I looked out and didn't see anything or know she got out. Then I heard it again and she ran in and was so happy to be in my arms. She truly loved me as much as I loved her. Toward the end like for a few months she was a different cat and wanting to be alone cuz she had respiratory issues and wasn't feeling well but that was due to her old age of 18. I miss her dearly and as you all know it is so heart wrenching to lose your family cat. My Maggie is in my ❤. I had her cremated. We also have a 6 yr old tabby male. Cannot live without cats. Love all cats and wish we could save them all. 😻😽
Every ginger boy I’ve ever known was a sweetheart. our Dundee is the BEST cat ever and every member of the family wants him. He comforts my daughter when she’s upset and keeps my back warm ever night.
The topic of fur colors and patterns is fascinating. My brother recently adopted a pair of kittens, so we got to see the mother and her kittens. None of them had the same color or pattern. Another interesting topic would be why some cats over eat or will eat to the point of vomiting but others won't.
I opened my door one morning to discover an orange male cat on my doorstep. He walked right over the threshold and has never left. Friendly to a point, but he is also moody. He decides when it is time for affection; not me. Russell has fleshed out to a whopping 18+ pounds. This has been one of my favorite videos, I would love to hear more about their genetics.
We have a female orange cat. she is smart, very energetic, and a comedian. loves to play while my other two cats are more laid back. For seven years she has made us laugh. Hoping to have many more years with her. Out of our three cats, she is the only one I can pick up and love on. Sleeps on my legs every night. Love her to pieces.
I'm very much an animal lover but have very limited experience with domestic cats. I'm also a retired Wildlife Biologist with some experience with Cougar and Lynx conservation and (human) management programs. I was extremely impressed with your explanations about 'orange' 🐈 😻 cats; their breeding as well as their gender, physical and behavioural characteristics! 'Very well explained without a need to attempt to impress us with your well founded, well researched but still very 'down to earth' perspectives! You are a great communicator, and I learned a lot in a very comfortable few minutes! Your 'rock solid' credibility is also greatly enhanced by your obvious interest in sharing the limits of your research and seeking an even broader range of both scientific evidence as well as observational (so-called anecdotal) information from your respected viewers! I'm looking forward to watching more of your content... even as I said in opening that I'm not a well informed 'cat guy'. Loved this video. My last furbaby was a large, medium hair, cream ginger. He was my best friend and weighed 7 kg at his heaviest (he was not overweight). I lost him last October 2 weeks before he was due to turn 16. I now have a 10 and a half month old male short hair ginger who weighs close to 6 kg. They have very individual personalities and are intelligent. I would love to hear you discuss more about gingers and other breeds. R.I.P. Simba ❤
Our Milo, aka mustard tiger! 😂 He is friendly, higher tolerance, easy going, super cuddly, very confident (never seen a cat so confident), very territorial, not very talkative, not a trouble maker, laid back! Loves to eat! Behaves like a dog, comes when I call his name, taught to him, sit! Never experienced a cat like this in my life! We love him so much
I have an orange boy and he is one of the most sassy cats I ever met. And I was told that orange cats were a lot more agitated than other cats. Hearing that they are known to be friendlier is a first since I always heard the contrary and that's my experience.
I've always called orange cats Dreamsicle cats. Just something I've been saying since childhood. I find what you bring up about the size differential between male and female orange cats to be quite true. Also, these orange type males I have are quite large. I also have a 5 month old female who is turning out to be the creamiest ever. I like learning about the names of the different subtypes.

I have a minuscule male orange cat that often visits me, it is an adult cat.
@@alainportant6412 Sounds very small and cute!
RIP Tarkus.
Tarkus, great name for a cat.
You must be a fan of ELP. Great song and album.
Awww 🥲🥲🥲

I thought my orange boy was big at 14lb. Was wondering if he was too heavy. You had a big one. 18 lb at lived to be 16 years old.
How sweet❤
I like the way you describe your cat!
I can relate ❤
What a beautiful description ❤
Stop I'm gonna cry 😢

Protect him, don’t leave him outside alone
Yes, please don’t let him roam outside alone. Always use a harness or at least supervise them. It’s just too dangerous outside for them.

That's because he is lonely(er) without his brother and he no longer has a pal to watch so now he is acting on it to bring up some convo to you lol

My orange baby boy (16yr old), is super smart, sweet & snarky. He has a big personality!

I have a mostly white male with some orange. He too is also the sweetest, most affectionate cat.
We have one too🥰 so I sympathize with your loss. The sweetest soul

So I'm standing there pondering my options and I'm thinking "do I tackle him and traumatize us both, or do I... talk to him?" So, assuming I was going to be chasing him down the street in the next second, against my better judgement, I decided on the latter and calmly said "hey little dude, let's go back inside."
He immediately turns around, meows and RUNS to me.
This story was so wholesome and well written. I honestly feel warmer and happier after having read it- and my cat just barfed on my carpet like as I was finishing reading this… lol
He sounds just like one of my friend's cats' named, Moby. Moby was not a dumped cat, but his personality sounds just like your Joe's personality. Thank you for taking him in and loving him. I have 3 rescues, 2 torties and 1 flame point ragdoll. I also take care of 7 semi-ferals.
He is certainly a very happy cat, no question.

So many channels talk about cats or dogs in a superficial way so I appreciate the deeper dive into the genetics and how that drives the differences. I also appreciate that you are careful to indicate uncertainty when you're not sure.

Ive had a lot of kitties in my 60 yrs. Absolutely true on size differences between the sexes with gingers. I had a tiny ginger girl. She was like a forever kitten. She lived until she was 21. Currently I have the biggest Ginger male I ever had. He's all knucklehead but a charmer. Adored all my kittens. Miss them all! Love the video.
Love your comment. My ginger moggy was a knucklehead and charmer too, a perfect description. RIP Nutkin.
We just got an orange female off the side of the road. She's super sweet and cuddly but she's crazy lol. How was your females temperament?
@@brooke3140 She was weird. Loved Club crackers and sleeping in the Guinea pig hidey. She knew she was beautiful and would stare at herself in the mirror. Garfield was nutty but wonderful. Good luck with your little one!

Fact #8: All Orange Cats are... House Tigers!
The Germans have invented the word "Stubentiger" for that
When I was a kid I had a orange cat and I named him tiger 🐅 lol
🐯🐅
I call my guy lil tiger all the time :)
I have two dilute red cats, one male and one female. They are peach in color. So much so that we named the girl cat Peaches! The boy cat is thinner and taller than the girl.
I appreciate the dive into genetics and allele frequency without you feeling the need to dumb anything down. Just the straight up science. Really fascinating!
Do orange cats have weight/hunger issues? My sister’s cat is incredibly demanding when it comes to food.

Yea didn’t realize that the gene for orange coat color was x-linked. Now it makes sense why so many orange tabbies are males.
Great video. We are on our third orange cat, and all three have been silly clowns or extraordinarily affectionate. Recently had a orange feral we fed from our porch, assumed it was male, and a few weeks later showed up with her kittens. So, we learned the hard way not to assume oranges are male!
Even Calico cats that are virtually always female are occasionally male. Very occasionally, it's downright rare.
My Chucklie is AMAZINGLY affectionate and loyal. She's curled up on my lap as I write this.

I, for years that orange cats were always male. When my farrier told me he had a female orange cat 🐈 I told him that’s impossible. Just like I thought all calicos were female. Thank you for this informational video.
Are you taking care of mom and kittens?

I have a male orange cat from a shelter and he is the most loving cat I have been around.
A 👍thumbs up for my orange cat, Butterscotch. I’ve always called those black spots his freckles.
Great name for a cat! Long ago, I had an orange cat named Butterscotch Sundae. We called him Sundae. He was the smartest of all the cats I've had and even seemed human at times.

Sweet, loveable orange kitty cats. All animals are GREAT!!!❤❤❤
I have an orange female tabby.
Aww! My Orange Tabby is my angel. He has a problem being dominant with my other three cats though. Im trying to fix the problem. But Leo is my ❤.

I just recently got my first orange 🧡 kitten!! I got her off the side of the road. Someone had dumped her out there because it was way too far from any house and there were no other cats around (siblings, Mama etc..). She was beside a pond full of lily pads and hiding scared
out of her mind under a bush. She was well fed, tame and had no fleas or ticks. People should be ashamed of dumping kittens off on roads. I'm happy I got her and she gives me sugars every day thanking me for rescuing her.

He’s great with my son.

My orange guy, Rockie, just passed on June 26. My dogs mourned him. I called them my 3'blond boys. They were close.

I’ve always has female cats (not sure why!) but my cats (and them one at a time) were always very friendly!
@@sandybruce9092 I also had a fair number of orange female cats in my life so I didn't actually experience this 20/80 percent distribution!
🙂🙂🙂🙂
It does seem as if female cats are sometimes more complicated. They’re loving too though. And I’ve met very sweet friendly girl kitties.
I have an orange Leo too!

Me too...
I love my ginger boy Ceasar… he is now 19 and still very happy and strong … he is a very big breed…
I have a female orange black and white calico, so is she an orange cat as your talking about today?
My 21 pound male orange tabby is the most loving cat I have ever owned. He is huge.
Thank you! 😊
In South Africa we refer to them as Ginger cats. We have a big female ginger and love her lots and lots!

How do u get them to quit spraying. He learned from an older cat
You should not be a cat owner 😢 You need to be a responsible human being to take care of one God's greatest creations 😢
I'm sooooo happy you solved the mystery of lentigo for me! Thank you SO much. Was panicking when I noticed my orangie getting spots.
I'm sorry about your loss; glad you learned something from the video.
Milo was a cool cat. He had a special bond with each member of our family and would even make his rounds every night, checking up on each of us. Awesome cat. He passed away at 16 years old.
SOUNDS LIME HE WAS SO SWEET.

When I was searching for a cat on pet finder I wanted a senior female and happened upon an orange chonky female. I had no idea how rare she was!
So interesting! I had an orange (crream) female. Lost her last year to a lung problem at 14 years. She was the most affectionate and talkative cat I have ever had. I miss her so much! 😢
I lost my 16 year old orange cream boy 1 month ago due to lung problems (cancer) . I feel your pain 😭💔

R.I.P. Simba ❤
It is my firm belief that every cat possesses at least 3 unique traits that no other cat has ever possessed.
Our Milo, aka mustard tiger! 😂
He is friendly, higher tolerance, easy going, super cuddly, very confident (never seen a cat so confident), very territorial, not very talkative, not a trouble maker, laid back!
That’s great! I often say that my large ginger tabby has a creamsicle tail!!
