As an old guy, I miss both my parents. Dad used to ride a motorcycle on the Ohio State Patrol (yes, they once had Harleys with the "suicide clutches""). Though I never rode till I was 58, he was always enthusiastic that I chose to do so. I'm now 72 and both my parents passed away in the last six years. Jess, love Momma Two Wheels like today is your last day together because, well you never know. Always enjoy when you have her on with you. Oh yes Jess, I have a word for you LASIK. Works great on astigmatism. I had mine more than twenty years ago. Don't wear glasses now!
I understand that it's hard getting together to ride together but take it from someone who has regrets, do whatever it takes to spend more time with your mother because, as you know, life is too darn short. No more excuses, make time for your mother!
I'm glad that all worked out for her. Try to take every moment with her. I lost my dad to cancer, right before I was able to finish rebuilding his Honda Shadow because here in CA we got so many twisties and mountains I would've love to take him. I'm still working on his 1990 Honda Shadow 1100c. So Blessings to the 3 of you.
I normally do not comment on any social media but there are 2 things you said that I want to comment on. First, I took the MSF course from the local Harley dealership at the young age of 56. I had never ridden a motorcycle before but have been riding since. My first motorcycle is a 2021 HD Fat Bob 114. The second comment is about spending time with your Mom riding. Having lost my Mom in February, take the time to spend with her since you have something in common. I know you will enjoy it and I bet she will LOVE the time. I am sure you will help her improve her skills. You never know when the time is over. Stay safe out there.
How fun is that to have a hobby that you can share with your mom and also have some ways that you can throw your efforts into making her life better? What an amazing gift. Thank you for sharing the moment with us.
Yeah mom is back! Welcome! Always happy with a new video from jess! But much more happy when mom is here! Good job to jordan for the modifications! I wish you the best all of you! Stay safe and crazy!
Thank you for your back story. I’m feeling a little lost when it comes to riding a motorcycle. But to know that there’s other people out there that also started from the beginning, really helps to know that I’m not alone☺️
How sweet. Good job Jordon. Momma 2wheels, I was 52 when I got my MC endorsement. Next month I will be 66. Enjoy your new ride. Jess definitely plan some rides with your Mom, I am sure you would both enjoy that. I took the MSF course with my older daughter, she passed her test I did not. But I went on and took a scooter class and passed the test that way. I have been enjoying riding ever since. Have fun Momma 2 wheels on your “New Ride”.
Awesome. Momma two wheels is amazing. Love the big smile that put on her face. I enjoyed seeing the update on the bike and her reaction. I also enjoy both you and Jordan's channels. 👍🏻 ✌🏼
Wow!!! Jordan what a fantastic job on Moma Two Wheels bike!! Jess you are the best daughter ever!! Ride safe Mom!!! You too Jess and Jordan!!! Can’t wait for the next video!!!😃😃😃😃😃
Nice. My first bike was also a shadow 600 as well. Great starter bike. Loved it. You’re mom’s great. I also started riding when I was 52. Never to late 😎😎
Was looking forward seeing this! Happy to see and hear momma Two Wheels is really pleased and happy with her renewed Shadow! Seen Jordan's video about it as well, he did a great job for sure! Hope she has a lot more fun on and with it now, and stays safe like I wish to all bikers out there! 🤟🏼
Yes, I do remember! LOVE it! I have the same hippie fringe lever covers (but in tan) on my Low Rider S . And it's kinda weird, but my first adult bike was a 2000 Shadow Sabre 1100. Lucky, happy mom. :)
Jess you are a sweet daughter. The mods you made will really make a great difference for Momma Two Wheels. Im a new viewer and enjoy youre chanel and work here.
I understand his contentment, I ride a Shadow 750 ACE from 2000, which I have just equipped with saddlebags from Craftride model K3 in 33lt, and I enjoy riding with it...
Jess I laughed hard at what you said after the squirrel that was halirious great thing for your mom and shows how much you to love your mom nice trip to
Loved watching him modify it , he can do just about anything, I do well to change oil in mine. Big supporter on both your alls channel. Ride safe and God Bless 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I started riding motorcycles because of my mom, and cancer took away our opportunity to ever ride together.. for all of us that will never have that opportunity, please get out and ride with Mama two wheels as much as you can. Love you both, ride safe!
You're such a good daughter. Spiffin' up Mom's ride. A narrower seat will make reaching the ground much easier. However, a wider seat distributes your weight while riding over more surface area and is more comfortable than a narrower seat of the same materials. Oh the squirrel stories i could share. I've only ran over 2 in my 40+ years of riding. Most of them are really quick. Last year, I saw one dash out at a pickup and I thought he got hit, but he did a roll and hit back hit the outside of the wheel/rim and he skittered off. Friggin amazing. I call him Bruce Squirrel Lee, King of the Squirrels. Loved the file not found dialog when you mentioned your mom's age. As a computer nerd, I appreciated that humor. I for one would love to see MTW make more appearances on your channel. I think many of your subscribers would agree. I think when you're doing a mountain pass, you don't miss a carbureted bike at all. Heh.
Ride with your mom more! My sisters and I ride to a women’s rally every year as a girls trip. Also when my mom was alive we would take her out on the bikes for dinner. Mom was 89 and she rode with my sister on her Spyder. She was the talk of the retirement community. Never too old to get out in the wind.
Your moms reaction is priceless 🙂.... I'll have to show Brigette the flying eyes optic site pretty cool with the snap shades. Jordan awesome job, I'll have to check out your site 🙂
Hey Jess. The Old Man Here. Must be something in the water today. Drove my Jeep to the store to buy some over expensive food! On my way home sipping on a Cherry Dr Pepper. I stop for a red light. And some guy in a little White car. Almost hits me in my back end. Glad he had good reflexes. Otherwise I'd probably be send you this from the Hospital. Dude just wasn't paying attention to what was going on around him. I'm glad Momma Two Wheel's loves the improvements you guy's did to her bike. I haven't given up just yet on buying a bike. I'm going to save money and this when spring is here sale my Jeep Liberty Renegade along with what I saved. Then find a cruiser bike that fit's me and my style. You all stay Safe up there. Your friend The Old Man.
Love my LaPera Kickflip on my Dyna Street Bob. Did not change out the handlebars but installed a 3 1/2 inch riser with a slight angle to give me a more comfortable hand position.
Overhaul the carbs. Looks good! I do like those glasses. Respect for mom for courage. Keep the battery charged with a battery tender during winter mom. OR start it a couple times a week.
I've had a couple of these bikes and I think they are one of the best motorcycles ever made. If you really want to make her comfortable get a set of cobra swept floorboards. Makes all the difference in feet comfort and you can move your feet around. Pretty cheap and easy to put on. She will love you for this important upgrade! You can thank me later ❤
That scream 😆 I had a gaggle of goslings in single file run out of the ditch in front of me once and crossed the road. I had to come onto the brakes pretty hard to not ride through them like they were a set of bowling pins and like you, I panic screamed. Luckily, I didn't hit them or wipe out but my heart was racing pretty fast after that incounter.
Your mom will love the new mods, I put 2004 dyna bars on my 2004 fatboy, the bike is a joy to ride now. Question, besides costing more why not send the stock seat out to get it modded, somewhere like Mean City Cycles or even somewhere local?
Congratulations Mama Two Wheels. I will bet that, when the weather permits, you will be doing a lot more riding. Jordan if you get bored you have a good way to keep busy and make a few dollars on the side.
Hey that's great that you got to go out and see your dad... I talked to my dad fairly often... But he's in Denver and I'm in Indiana... Honestly I doubt that I will see him in person again.... Last time I saw any of my family out west was 1993... I was just thinking the other day that with working remote for the last 3 years... That in order to go hop on the bike I actually have to change clothes get into gear ... And it just seems like it's becoming a hassle... With working remote I wear sweats and a t-shirt and occasionally am I put shoes on... Go ahead and lift it up I used to ride year round long as the roads were dry I was riding but that's when I had to go to the office everyday.. Well guess I need to make some changes don't I
Great job on your hubby customizing your mom’s motorcycle . I guess that squirrel was Rocky, looking for Bullwinkle. LOL 😂 😂 I only wish my mom would ride a motorcycle.
I start on a 1988 Honda Shadow 800. All of my boys learned on it. My youngest son is learning next season. My shadow was the only 800 made. 87 was a 750. And 950 was 89.

So nice to make this happen for your Mom. Huge improvement for her going forward. The Shadow is I believe one of Honda's iconic bikes.
