So Moto Tingle and I wanted to see if there is any difference between my XT660X with power commander and race headers and his full stock XT660R .......... and to be honest nope there is not much between them lol

Well I had fun. Some of the difficulties I experienced was the front end coming up on 1st gear vs burning out the clutch. The manufacturer stated time (or that I could find online) is 5.3 seconds. - I love my Yamaha XT660R, it's great off road (albeit heavy) it can do the commute and overtake traffic, all in its a great bike. Thank you Mr XT Donkey for the fun challenge!
Not a problem dude I think the 5.3 seconds is abit of a push tho I will endever to get there lol
I just pulled my XT out of storage. Got some scheduled maintenance to do, you know I'm going to practice too!
the r's gearing is longer and they tend to do better road wise. x version is the more huliagain out of the two as it's the supermoto version
had a r and much prefer it over the x I tried then again on green lanes and trails I'll go with the x

The XT Donkey l only know this cause of the amount of research I had to do when buying part for mine. still got a givvy back plate I'm trying to get rid of though 2 years and no one wants it haha
