Yamaha XT660R fuel efficiency: An interesting test

I've owned this Yamaha XT660R for over 2 years now, and this beautiful trustworthy machine always seems to be very consistent when it comes com mileage/fuel consumption. Always somewhere between 4.5 and 5L per 100km.
Well, since I decided to keep this bike, I want to test it's limits, and today I tried to test how fuel efficient this bike really is.
If you are here just for the results, here is a spoiler: After 135km riding (mostly off road), I refilled with 6.3 litres, meaning that it used 4.6L/100km (51mpg)
Not terrible, not great :P
