Surprised by the weaknesses in this arrangement, especially in the orchestra part- it is not very faithful to Grieg's and takes away some of the hallmarks of his language.
Våren is such a delicate refined subtle sensitive composition, that a trumpet should stay far away from it. I didn't think a trumpet would be appropriate, but her sound is really beautiful. It's done in key of F, down from key of G it was originally written.
