- A very brief introduction to the LOUD Metropolis Ark 1 library by Orchestral Tools. You can find more in depth walkthroughs of the Orchestra here - • Orchestral Tools Metro... and the rest of the library here - • Orchestral Tools Metro... . Thanks to Orchestral Tools.
OMG!!!
That SUB at 8:14 !!!!!
And The reaction afterwards! Priceless!!! LOL
I wish more Reviews were like this. Straight in . . . hear the sounds . . . get an idea and a vibe and then the rest is up to you if you go and buy it. A much better way to sell products for audio. WE wanna HEAR the damn thing not listen on to waffle as to how to change and edit stuff. We do that bit when we get the bloody software. Great Video. Really enjoyed it and subscribed immediately :)
You always make these videos fun Guy, cheers for this. :)
Guy, your walkthroughs are great . To my ear Symphobia (one) is more musical than any other library that I have so far heard. Yet am warming this library.
Thank you very much. Such a great review
Wow, this is truly EPIC stuff!
thank you very much. very good video. for understanding all. what music to a high quality
Personally, I find Orchestral Tools sound more natural and musical, as well as easier to work with than Spitfire Audio's offerings.
Wow!!
want it!
They're doing a Black Friday for both Metropolis this year!
Question: The sound quality is really crisp but is that also hand in hand with the speaker you are using? If so, what speaker/s do you use for mixing? Thank you for sharing btw
my kinda review
Which would you get first between Metropolis Ark, Symphobia or Albion 1?
Amazing library. It works in the free Kontakt Player, right?
i think it just works with full 5.5.1 and up
hello, I have a big problem with the expressions map and articulations with orchestral tools ark 1, I search the internet on orchestration forums, can not find an answer, I explain, I want to use via kontakt "Strings Finckenstein High" and all these articulations, so I load each articulations in kontakt, "High Bartok strings Pizzicato Col Legno, Glissandi cluster, glissandi up, etc." I load in expression map the preset "String Finckenstein High" that I found on the forum (VI-control), we can see articulations in the midi editor on cubase that appear, but at the data level via the "expression map configuration" I do not understand how to connect the articulations of the instrument to midi information. In the "expression map configuration" what to put in "output settings"? I have tried a multitude of options, nothing is consistent and my joints either do not work, or it is not the right one that is triggered, can someone help me? thank you
Hi Zaphkiel - I'm so sorry I can't help with this, I've never once had any luck whatsoever with Expression Maps. I've now had 3 serious attempts to use them, got good help each time, but absolutely hate them. IMO they're just not fit for purpose, they don't work in any kind of logical way to me. I just use good old keyswitches, seems massively simpler to me!
Sounds like clash royale loading screen!!!
Those first string examples sounded like a Kurzweil from the 80s...sorry not very good.
you play terribly bad. overlaying almost every note. no sense of release at all :D
anyway, thanx for the preview. sounds like a good lib, although i miss some softness
mrnomore If you're looking for softness, you won't find it here. Try MA2 instead or the NI Symphonic series.
