MVG is a king of mind games. He’s not too over the top with it, but very swift and smart. Like when he played someone who missed D12 for the 9 darter, so MVG threw T20, T19 & D12 when he wasn’t on a finish showing he’s opponent how it’s done. One the most flash moments I’ve seen in darts
Matt you gave me a long distance lesson during COVID I'm going thru a lot right now but showed up to a bar to watch American football and play some darts literally thru tears in my eyes I won every game because you taught me two things repeatable throw and one dart one game. My wife passed away just under two years ago and after our lesson (which she paid for) I told her about the lesson and the one thing that stuck in her mind was one dart one game. Every time after that I left for a match she would say that to me I now I have at tattoo on my arm echoing your words in her voice on my arm. I just want to say thank you for you. Your videos, lessons and commitment truly change not only dart games but people. Took out a 149 tonight to boot
Seriously mate gutted for you and can’t comprehend your loss. But we’ll done to you for finding the strength to continue with the passion. Your a strong man, continue that fight and I hope in time things become a little easier for you. All the best ❤️
I had a 6 month period where i had to use Deep Heat or i couldn't throw more than 6 darts at a time - i won a lot of games in that time, now i know why! 😂
Just wanna say I love your channel. I'm a huge darts fan but am pretty shit myself. Darts is my favourite sport and listening to you gives me so much insight. I'm a born midlander so appreciate listening to a relatively local lad. You're the only regular darts channel that I don't find annoying (outside of Sky/PDC etc). Big up!
i found when i Played Jelle Klaasen in the British Open... now both of us are quick players, but what i found when i played him in the L16, when you've just gone up to grab your darts and you start making your way back he's already got 2 darts in the board before you get back behind him
Taylor used to go for Bull at times where his opponent had just missed it or sometimes to pressure them if they were on it. Painter I believe called him out on it but I think Taylor just saw it as a little competitive jab at his opponent aha
I was chatting to a former pro from the north east last week and he was saying that the few times he played Priestly it was so difficult because of how slow he was, said the same with Dennis Smith! He was 3-0 up against him at the worlds and he knew that he was going to lose 4-3, and he did!
@l.m.carroll291 Actully watched him on UA-cam winning an open against a Welsh guy,i can't remember what open it was and i didn't think he was that slow, but seen him in other games and I was wrong christ he is slow.
@@johngreenhorn8853 I saw him play live the other day in Sweden and to give him credit he wasn't almost as slow as he was in the Kantele game but yeah, that game was something else

Hi Matt I really do struggle against slower players, any tips and it’s so true I don’t get angry about it. I only get annoyed if the players is normally fast and then slows me up. Any help will appreciated😊
By far and away the best darts channel around. The detail on how much pros earn, how much in expenses, how decent you have to be/not be are proper gold dust. Predict monster things for Mr Edgar, especially with darts getting almost top bill on sports news channels with Little Littler ripping it up.
I genuinely can’t hack playing against a slow player. I end up just quietly internally raging about it to the point I convince myself it’s basically cheating and it should be banned, and that’s it, my heads already gone, and I can’t play 😂
I don't know who the hardest to play is but Robert Thornton is very hard to watch with his constant self berating every throw he doesn't get 140 or more, which is most of the time. All smiles and hugs only when he wins too...👎
Your channel is the dogs nutbag Mr Tv. Really informing. Was you ever a pro and if so how long for, also wondering if ever had any decent checkouts against any top players? 😉
General hygiene should be brought into ‘darts governing rules’ I played a guy back in the 80’s….the stench was unreal He played well….(when you offered your opponent a drink etc. if you lost) we were in a city with a 24 hr chemist next door……(I walked straight out….back in 5 mins later & gave him a can of deodorant…..😃 ….it kicked off after that for some reason 🤔
Seriously we played a league game 3 or 4 years ago and a player from the other team was absolutely honking im mean honking you could smell him before you seen him,one of our guys had a word with their captain and he dissappeard and came back after a short time with 2 cans of deodorant,it didn't really help that much to be honest.

It was against chisnall
And against Labanauskas 2019 World Darts Championship Quarter Finals
The Mohamed Ali of the darts world. Ali would have most of his opponents beaten before the fight even started.
@@davidcox9674nope that’s taylor
but he lost the leg and the match, so not so cool.

I loved the zoom in on Ricky Evans lol
Top notch editing🤣🤣
I think he’s slowed down

Matt I’m the same I always like my opponents to throw first as I’m also a starter
Can't believe you didn't mention Justin Pipe and Mervyn King! 😄
Strange one but a video i would like to see is who do you think would be a better player or more consistent player if they were fitter?
A friend of mine once applied Tiger balm to his eyeballs. Just to try it out. Tiger balm is like deep heat.
ive heard the expression try everything once

This thumbnail is OUTRAGEOUS
Couple of lads from work were on the same plane as the Dutch players going back home and VVV was a bit whiffy
I can imagine 😂
Ask dirk what he done in my mates taxi on way to Bristol airport from minehead in march lol
What dirk do 😂😂
Cant say but dirk could come on and tell every1
Deep Dirk HEAT
Have you ever played Price ?🤔. Can’t wait to see you get back in the mix. Feels like you’re one of us. We all rooting for you 💪
Yes I’ve played him many times. Thank you for that I do really appreciate the support I’m getting

GO ON THE BOY
Ricky Evans has slowed down considerably since - now he takes almost a full half of the time a normal player throws his darts...
I’ll remind you at 100k
Painter always looks like he’s hard work to play against, seems to be always talking/mumbling whenever I see him play, all be it at himself
He was probably constipated 😂
Never liked him, was such a winger!!
oi! Dirk's walk-on > Your walk-on FYI
You wouldn’t say that if you say on car with him for 4 hours
@@Edgartvdarts haha I would! but i can understand if this is not your thing you will have a hard time.
Yooo you excluded MVG not excluding the exclusion zone, ever
Will we see you playing in the world championships again ?
Hopefully one day. I’m not even part time at the min but just had an op hopefully that will help
Deep heat smells great 😂
Thanks for another great video Matt. Come on we wanna know who the smelly players are lol!
Best get sharing the video and channel cause I’ll reveal all when I hit that 100k 😁🤣

I do dislike that strong deep heat smell. Its chemical warfare
