AC1 - Al Mualim and his masterplan AC2 - Ezio and his journey ACB - Side missions ACR - The story and the way it connects Ezio, Altaïr, and Desmond. AC3 - The templar order ACBF - The naval combat (The setting is a close second) AC Rogue - The way the game connects to AC3, ACBF, and ACU ACU - The parkour ACS - The stealth and assassinations AC Origins - The setting AC Odyssey The hunt for the cult of Kosmos ACV - The first two DLCs (Basim as a character is also one of my favorite things about the game)
The reason why the Cult of Kosmos works so well is because its integrated into _literally_ every element of the game. If there is a game system then there is a cultist somewhere inside it. Army battles, faction leaders (the ones you can hunt down to lower the faction control in the region, the ones with a purple icon), as mercenaries, as sea captains (naval combat), in the arena, inside side quests, bumped into in the main quest, hidden at the end of sidequest chains, _literally just walking around in the world and you can go kill them immediately without needing any clues._ This integration plus how every member gave you a neat reward and you could work towards collecting a complete set of unique looking armor from each branch (loved the spartan branch armor). It makes so much sense mechanically and thematically, we are told how the cult members have wormed their way through every echelon of society and we get to see that as we hunt down the targets. Its legitimately one of the best examples of gameplay and story integration i've seen in any game.
Thank you bro!! I just played Odyssey for the first time a few months ago and this is one of the best systems I've seen in a game and it doesn't get enough credit.
Edward Kenway deserved at least one sequel game where he would be in another part of the world exploring the place for the Assassin's and maybe doing battle with the Templar's in that part of the world. And we could also see the relationship between him and his daughter. One that was a little different than in the books.
@@jonwiththeshot2525---Yeah but I also think that maybe Edward would have another ship. But then again the game could start with the Jackdaw itself sinking and Edward surviving with his daughter. Which would be reminiscent of the start of AC: Black Flag.
One thing I liked about Syndicate was that it was a breath of fresh air from all the grittiness and grim tones of other games. Jacob doesn't take things so seriously, so I enjoyed playing as him more
Fresh air? That's quite funny considering the air is completely smoke in Syndicate and the game was quite grim and dark. Child slaves, gangs running the city, literally Jack The Ripper is in it.
The Homestead missions and the conversations you can have with Connors assassin recruits in bars flesh out Connors character so much more then the main story dose alone.
hunting down cosmos leaders is by far the best mechanic I ever saw in an assassin's creed game because it felt so realistic, not knowing where they were or who they were, instead of the classic "go here and kill him". felt as a true assassins
AC 1: The cutscenes that introduce the targets as well as the memory corridors with assassinating them. Also Al Mualim is a great villain with a fun fight. AC 2: The Italian Renaissance especially Florence and Venice. Also the soundtrack compliments the setting well. AC Brotherhood: The Brotherhood system. Also the modern day being in Monteriggioni, the side content, and the combat. AC Revelations: Altair's ending mixed with Ezio speaking to Desmond. Also the assassin tombs were great plus the master assassin missions added more depth to the assassin recruits. AC 3: The side missions like the Homestead missions and the peg leg missions. AC 4 Black Flag: The naval combat. So addicting. AC Unity: Either the black box missions or the detail and scale of Paris. Side content is fantastic, too. AC Rogue: Either Shay's templar outfit or the main menu theme. Also the grenade launcher and the assassin stalkers were great additions. AC Syndicate: London itself especially with the Thames River being busy, trains moving, and riding the carriages. Not to mention the Kenway manor. AC Origins: Egypt itself is amazing. Also Bayek who is my second favorite protagonist in the series. AC Odyssey: Greece itself especially with all the landmarks and getting to go inside a volcano. The cultist system is great as well, minus getting no memory corridors and the leader being forgettable, and the variety of enemies is fun. AC Valhalla: The side content such as flyting, tombs of the fallen, treasures of Great Britain, world events, etc.
AC Revelations was the only game that actually made me cry and everytime I see the scene where Altair sits down and camera just moves around him to show his corpse gives me goosebumps like no ever game could. I loved AC Revelations
seeing Altair's transition from Master Assassin, to exiled, then to leader of the brotherhood and finally de-centralizing the brotherhood and sending it out across the world was awesome, albeit the backdrop to all of that is the behind the scenes drama that would go on to severely impact the series was also rather noticeable in Revelations.
AC: Revelations might've been a bit of a send-off for Ezio and Altair but it did introduce a few new things to the franchise. Some of which was are still around.
Origins is by far my favorite Assassins Creed Game, followed by Black Flag and probably AC 1. When it comes to Origins I loved the setting and the characters and the story, and Bayek is my favorite protagonist of the series. But for me the greatest part of Origins were those absolutely BRUTAL animus scenes that accompany the main assassinations. Out of any of the games those are my favorite Animus Post-Assassination Scenes, sent so many chills down my spine.
Another underrated thing about Syndicate was the detective missions and Jack the Ripper DLC. One of the most engaging and atmospheric stories of the whole series
I like the fact that we don’t have dialogue choices in Origins. I hate having to choose my way through the story. The voice acting feels better too. It’s definitely my favorite of the RPG trilogy. Valhalla was my least favorite and I didn’t even get through the dlc.
Odyssey's dialogue choices can be rather jarring at times, I just got captured by Deimos and in the build up to our final encounter I am still unsure as to if I chose the correct dialogue options, plus, I did everything correct to bring him back into the family except for save that baby and the way Ubisoft chose to make players wait to see if they made the correct decisions feels a bit weird. I have enjoyed Odyssey's story so far however I gotta say, I prefer how much more focused Origins narrative felt, something I feel that games like Fallout, Witcher 3 and Odyssey often severely lack in part due to dialogue options.
I almost don’t like how you can choose either Alexios of Kassandra, especially since Kassandra is supposed to be the main protagonist. I choose Alexios not knowing this and now it doesn’t seem right
Nice Video! Maybe its cool to have like a discord server, since i feel like it would be nice to have a community thats able to talk about their opinions of ac aswell(: (and maybe even get to know your fanbase even more) You are like my nr1 UA-camr keep it up man, and uhh if u need help setting some stuff up, im all here for it.
Mine Ac 1 Altairs Outfit Ac 2 Soundtrack Ac Brotherhood Setting Ac Revelations Story Ac 3 Combat Ac 4 Black Flag Setting Ac Rogue Gadgets Ac Unity Parkour Ac Syndicate Stealth Ac Origins Setting
black flag / rogue (they are the same) were my favorite in terms of gadgets. putting a guard to sleep to attract more guards to him then making a grenadier go berserk was so fun. but diversifying your approach in these games in general also helps make it less repetitive and boring
AC1: best environments for parkour ACB: ACR: Story AC2: hiding spot assassinations AC3: homestead missions AC4: whistling ACFC: Adewale, best robes of the playable Assassins, machete AC Rogue: more environmental tools ACU: stealth ACS: also stealth ACO: tomb exploring I haven't played the last 2
What I love about brotherhood side content is that they keep coming. Compared to the other games where once you did the all, you're left with the storyline, well brotherhood you do what you can, then finish a sequence. When a new séquence start, you have new side missions too
AC 1 : the story in general AC 2 : almost everything but mainly Ezio and his whole arc throughout the game (Didn't play Ac Brotherhood or rev) AC 3 : it's just fun, nothing more to it. AC 4 : Edward's personality (Didn't play rouge) AC Unity : THE PARKOUR AC Syndicate : Jacob and Evie's dynamic and Jacob's character in general AC Origins : Bayek and his journey and hunt for revenge AC Odessey : the fact that you can make choices that change the outcome of the story (Didn't play Valhalla)
As much as we dislike Ubisoft now, we have to admit one thing: They nailed the character development of Ezio. AC 2 - Young, charming teen who doesn't know the danger that surrounds him. Faced with certain evil, he is learning to fight back. AC Brotherhood - Ezio stepping into adulthood, taking responsibility, and standing up for what's right, becoming a leader and helping others find purpose. AC Revelations - A wise old man trying to find the meaning of his life. Finding his own purpose to continue living and start a legacy. We grew up with Ezio, which is why he is the most favourite character in the series.
I have played all of them besides AC1 (waiting for the remaster) AC2: Leonardo Da Vinci AC Brotherhood: The Brotherhood system AC Revelations: The tower defense segments AC3: Connor's and Haytham's relationship AC4: Ship battles AC Rogue: Being able to play as a Templar AC Unity: Arno's cloak AC Origins: The creation of the Assassin order AC Odyssey: The long lasting combat (especially on nightmare difficulty) AC Valhalla: The raids (my favorite thing of any AC game so far)
One thing I really loved in Valhalla was an option for the hidden blade to be an instant kill. I loved Origins and Odyssey but i always thought it felt wrong that if you were not leveled or taking out a strong enemy in stealth that they could survive it.
I understand how some people does not like AC Unity parkour, when you're on your first time playing it you have no idea how to make it work, Arno keeps jumping from pole to pole and sometimes has delay with his actions, you need to watch a full yt guide just so you could enjoy parkour, which is 80% of what you do in the game. The parkour also has a very restrictive parkour with no room for failure, which is something I miss. Still, AC Unity parkour is peak parkour.
@@pepin836the people who don't like it are (at least that's what they pretend) players since the first games who miss the complete control of the earlier games with fully manual parkour while unity's is more contextual. What they fail to understand is that you can manipulate the context with your inputs to transform it into an almost manual system. It may not require as much skills as a fully manual system, but it is by far the most satisfying when it works properly (which it would all of the times if it had more development time)
AC3, Syndicate and Origins probably have my favorite side missions. I`m also one of those rare people who liked the twist beginning of 3 and actually really like Connor and wish his story would have been expanded on more. The addition of forest and tree parjour was also a bonus. Besides the parkour and transversing Paris, i loved the murder mysteries in Unity. Revelations and Brotherhood have my favorite side mechanic with the assassination recruits and being able to send them on missions. I wish they would have expanded on that mechanic. I love recruiting assassins and building my own base of operations and Brotherhood. Black Flag pirates...do i need to say more. I loved the templar focus of Rogue and how it connects to AC3 with Shay pretty much creating what Connor will later be destroying. I would also like to mention Liberation which has the social stealth mechanics with the different costume which is a mechanic i absolutely love and am mad later games didn't expand on. The potential of more options in social stealth and observing target, but its only used for that one game.
What I like the most in AC2 is the conspirational network of the Templars you discover step by step. It even has its own interface. No other AC game has that.
I really didn't like the Cult of Kosmos form AC: Odyssey. I think they should've been Templars at the very least. But I did like how you had to identify them before going in for the kill. I want to see that system a lot more in future AC: Games but with the improvements mentioned in the video.
Yeah but the concept of Assassins creed is based on the true fight of hashashins versus templars in medieval midle east. They stabilished that basis on the true events of history, and then started to change around that, but always *trying* to keep it historically accurate. Before early 1100 there were no templars, thats why they created both Cult of Kosmos and the Order of the Ancients. They created something to explain an early rivalry, proto assassins and proto "templars". They cant use the "templars" cause it would be too much out of their context.
Not that Odissey gives much historical context other than famous persons lol. I like Odissey cause it kicks the bucket and say "fuck it lets just work on alot of isu shit"
@@ViniciusThor---Friend when I said Templars should've been in the game I meant the Order of Ancients should've been in Greece and not the Cult of Kosmos. If nothing else. We could've seen the birth of the Order of Ancients in Ancient Greece. Now that I would've loved to have seen. With Kassandra or Alexios or both as it's founders. And not what we got.
I've been on a journey, playing/replaying every game this series has to offer, and I decided to give my opinion here as well, so for me, it would have to go something like this: Assassin's Creed: The story. While not as expansive or even as consistent as future AC games, the first games story did really good in introducing both the Templars and Assassins in a way that showed you the difference in their ideals and what they believe in. Assassin's Creed 2: Gonna have to agree with you for Ezio Auditore. The franchises all around best character, with only one other even coming close who I'll get to later. Ezio is a friend to all, and mighty vicious to anyone who apposes him. Charismatic and funny, he was also a huge influence on the assassins. Assassin's Creed Brotherhood: Rebuilding Rome. While I didn't quite like Rome itself like many other people did, the mechanic of rebuilding it and earning money off of places you owned was broken, but also just very cool. Assassin's Creed Revelations: The parkour. To me this was the peak in the series, especially with the addition of the hook blade. Everything about it by that point was polished and seamless. Assassin's Creed 3: The villains. I know the Dad vs Son cliché is old as hell, but even besides Haytham, I really loved the fleshing out of the other targets of the game. Made you really feel the need to be mad at them, while also feeling sympathy after killing them. Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag: I'll agree with you on this one as well. To me, this game feels like it was never meant to be an AC game because of how much content was focused on Edward being a pirate. Assassin's Creed Rogue: I never played this game, so I won't give an opinion on it. Assassin's Creed Unity: Hard to say, honestly. I don't want to lean into the analogy you were giving in the video, but I really did not like this game. And I first played it just a couple weeks ago. The combat is nothing special, the parkour is inconsistent, and the story is just all around not that good. I guess I'll say my favorite part was the stealth. I feel like this was mechanically the last stealth AC game in the series. Assassin's Creed Syndicate: The combat. To me, in that regard, this game was much better than Unity. This was also an entry I didn't really like, but the combat was nice and fluid and unlike anything we've ever seen before. The weapons also had some great variety, and the skills helped out a ton. Assassin's Creed Origins: Bayek of Siwa. The only other character that came close to being as good as Ezio. Bayek is the greatest uncle, and a great assassin. His voice actor really brings it all together, and I often think back to the opening scene of the game where he says, "Sleep? I never sleep. I just wait in the shadows. And I will kill you all. Everyone who sniffed the air that day in Siwa!" As for the final 2 games as of now, I have not replayed Odyssey yet, and I've never played Valhalla before. I will probably update this comment when I do, but all in all good video. If you want me to talk about the problems I have with Unity's parkour to more extent, let me know. Because my problems go beyond that analogy that you said while stating your favorite part about that game.
Things i like in my opinion from AC2 TO AC4 (didnt play ac1 but i will play it soon) AC2: The Entire story plus the italian atmosphere and renesaince cities ACB: Continuation of ezio's story ACR: Switch from italy to Constantinipole in my opinion is pretty good as the city is well made and i really like the turkish vibes AC3: Parkour on trees and return of multiple towns like it was in AC2 AC4: Sailing through the ocean
The general movement in Unity was great! Smooth and speedy. But trying to get through a window was IMPOSSIBLE! if u were climbing on the side of a building, and decided u wanted to go throught a window, the character would jump from one side of the window to the other like there was a gap in the middle insdead of just shimmying to the opening. once u were at the opening, sometimes he would jump up instead of climing in.
I have to say, i would have loved to see Edward turn into a more stoic and serious character as he develops through the story, almost like what we saw in the trailers
ac: introduction to the creed and the assassins ac II: beginning of ezio's journey ac Brotherhood: Rome and the assassins mechanic ac Revelations: a proper send off to Ezio (definitely my favorite version of ezio) and Altair ac III: the setting, haythan, homestead mission ac Black flag: arrgh 🏴☠️ ac rogue: a different perspective and the assassins in north america at it's peak ac unity: everything beautiful just great apart for the optimization ac syndicate: the twins ac origins: the story, how the hidden ones were created, the setting ac odyssey: nothing hardly even a ac game wasted a great setting ac valhalla: same as odyssey
I can tell you what I like about every assassin creed that I’ve played: AC Odyssey: THIS IS SPARTA (I love Spartans) AC 3: Homestead system AC 4: pirates AC origins: ancient egypt AC Valhalla: Viking era: AC Syndicate: Characters/Historical figures. AC Unity: Definitely the parkour
AC2 - : - It is a good life we lead, brother -The best. May it never change -And may it never change us Followed by Ezio's Family Soundtrack which became somewhat the main theme of AC
I'm new here and I definitely subbed because this is some really informative content, but is it just me or does it feel like Ubisoft didn't know they were gonna continue past AC revelations? Especially since ezio is the only one with a trilogy. Idk it may just be me.
Ac1: Investigations and actually feeling like an assassin Ac2:Ezio AcB:The tools and combat AcR:Altairs missions, the map, and the parkour Ac3: Better graphics Ac4: The World AcRogue: Seeing the other side of the fight. Ac Unity: Oh man a long list uh BEST PARKOUR, BEST STEALTH, Most realistic combat and BLACK BOX MISSIONS Ac Syndicate: Blackbox missions Ac Origins: The story Ac odyssey: uh idk I haven’t play the game Ac Valhalla: Social stealth is kinda back and not useful at all kinda. But probably not needing to do side missions a lot to level up. Ac Mirage: So far it looks like a return to the roots. Overall Ac1, The Ezio Trilogy, Ac Unity, and Ac Origins are my favorite.
So far I’ve only played 2-Unity (currently playing unity) so so far I’d have to say Ac2- the story Ac Brotherhood- the missions Ac Revelations- also the narrative but especially the ending AC3- the time period Ac4- the open world Unity- the city of Paris
What I REALLY liked about Syndicate is the very EDGY outfits and cosmetics, I can just go in the rooftops assassinate someone from above and use the grappling hook to quickly evade enemies... To me it feels more like a victorian era batman game than an assassin's creed game... Shame the Combat is dogshit...
One thing I find really hard with fans and Ezio is that people only love him soo much because he was released after the first one so people loved that the game ran better and had more mécaniques and simply because they kept his story so people got attached to him more, guarantee you remove brother hood and revelations and move Ezio from ac 2 to dat ac syndicate ( when ac started to go down hill) and I guarantee he wouldn’t be loved nearly as much people love him because he had a trilogy and was made in AC’s golden era
Edward deserved a 2nd game at least following him as a legit assassin where he is a full blown member of brotherhood id think of they did it as well it be cool if they intemplated stealth like unity but with better social stealth to show that he has been training with the assassins and gained better skill
OG writer left by Brotherhood. And also the book series making it not possible to continue one characters story since they're pretty much back stories and any stories that's after the game.
Thats is why i believe everyone loves Ezio is because he has a trilogy and you get to see him mature and develop. In my opinion i thought Bayek and Orgins wouldve been the perfect start to another trilogy.
Tbh I'm not much of a fan for Unity's parkour. The animations are cool but with how much Arno stumbled after vaulting (from my experience) and how Arno looked like he was floating more than jumping it puts me off. To make this opinion sound worse i prefer AC1- Revelations parkour for a few reasons; 1)Diving into water is optional, by this i mean from AC3 onwards the player would automatically dive while in the previous games (excluding AC1) you would jump normally unless pressing jump again in the air you would start diving. 2) The movement from AC1- Revelations is more satisfying for me. The way Altaïr/Ezio climb, tic-tac and wall eject has a better sound and feeling and this is more me being picky but Arno's running animation looks like he has sticky armpits.
The only one I slightly disagreed with is Origins. At first, I was like, “what?!” Then you stated your reason and It made sense. But Origins overall was goated. Would like to see your opinion on the new game Mirage.
What i love from each AC game (main ones not included psp, nintendo ds and smarth phone games) AC1- I love the game atmosphere, there is something unique about the enviroment both inside the simulation and outside with desmon. AC2- Ezio himself, ezio is one of the most interesting characters on this franchise, AC2 obviously change a lot from AC1, but ezio is the best improvment. ACB- Brotherhood even being remebered by some people as an DLC to AC2, but this game is onle of the most iconic in this franchise, i think the thing i most love in ACB is Rome, i think the only city that kept me exploring it even aftar finishing the game multiple time was Paris, but Rome is iconic in another level, i replayed this game some time ago, and Rome sometimes feels like home. ACR- the story, Ravelations is not one of the games everyone talk about on this franchise, but honestly i surely have the best story, here is where everything that had been build by the previous games start to connect, seeing ezio talking with altair skeleton and with desmond directly was a really emotional moment. AC3- The dynamic between Connor and his father, i like how you start with hytham and after that we start to control connor his complete opposite, this dynamic start some interesting reflections in this blury moral conflict. ACL- Liberations is a game that had a lot of potential but was held back by the psVita, my favorite thing is Evelyn journey, even with the Assassins she had a lot of daubts even questioning if the templars are truly wrong, something we saw desmond questioning too. AC4- The naval combat, i don't have much to say ubisoft just hit the right spot with this one, the combat feels responsive and enjoyable. ACR- Rogue best feature is the "flip the coin" idea, showing us the bad side of the Order we grew to love, i like how this game change our boots and forces us to see other perspective (but i still support the assassin's :P) ACU- Unity i sby far my favorite game on this franchise, i love ezio but ever since AC one i dreamed about an assassin's on the french revolution, one of my favorite time periods, my favorite thing was the multiplayer, ever since brotherhood multiplayer i asked myself "why we don't have an coop option it would work way better if this assassin order fantasy" and unity delivered the answer, i loed to spend hour and hours doing the coop missions and heists with my friends. ACS- Honestly i don't have too much to say, it is an ok game, nothing too much special, but i lik the more light hearthed feeling this game have, with more comic moments in relation with the previous titles. ACO- My favortie things about origins was bayek, ofcourse the creation of the creed is cool but i don't thing it is totally necessary to be shown, bayek in other side was an character i think we lack in this franchise, an guy focused on his duty but with no problems in changing his direction to help others, really carrying about the well being, an character instantly charismatic. ACOdyssey- I need to say i had a lot of fun with this game, i thing my favorite part was the combat, i know the ISU powers where exagerated but using them in open combat was really good, you truly felt powerful and unstoppable. ACV- I had an complicated relashionship with this game, but i thing the dinamyc between Eivor and Odin was my favorite part, how Odin always talk like an templar and Eivor always going with a point of view more allined with the assassins. That is my list, sorry for the bad english, it is not my main language, but i hope you guys could understand what i wanted to say.
I feel Valhalla could use some more love while it did have more mythology based stuff it was also very historically accurate to how the great heathen army was and how deadly and feared the jomsvikingr where actually being where the stigma of brutal and lawless behavior in the Norse/danish people came from.
Unity does have the best parkour but I will always like the parkour from the first two games more since it just felt like it had a higher skill ceiling.
i skipped Unity for its unrealistic 'free running' and Syndicate just because i skipped its previous install. decided to play Origins and give the series another chance, but i guess my hopes where thrown into the abyss after playing for a good while. Despite how it looked and how the game played and its setting being Egypt, i felt like something was missing, it didn't feel enough 'ac' to me. i wanted to get Odyssey but after my previous experience also skipped it. once Valhalla came out i was scared to buy it because of the previous letdown thus skipped it. a lot of people are probably going to get mad but from AC2 onward into Ezio's timeline, the games where perfect for me.
We needed a sequel to AC: Origins were we got to play as Amunet with Bayek being the supporting character. We should've gotten that. But no we didn't. I feel like we've been robbed.
Unity has good parkour but if you look past the flashy animations you'll realize the system has less depth than previous iterations. They removed some of the advanced parkour moves like side ejects and it continued the trend of automating parkour. Also, Arno feels more sluggish than the characters who came before him, a trend that unfortunately got worse.
You can absolutely so side ejects in unity. Instead of being fully manual unlike the previous games, these are automatic because of the context, but since your inputs can manipulate the context, you can force the side ejects to happen in situations where you want them to happen, same for back ejects, you can actually perform them
I think people are way to harsh on AC3. I personally loved the story, setting, and Connor as a protagonist. We were spoiled by Ezio for three games but AC3 had a lot of good that I think people just want to over look. AC4 is still my favorite (again you are a pirate) but I'm glad people are getting around to appreciating AC3.
I'm a hypocrite for liking Odyssey even though I didn't like Origins and Vahalla. But it's because I love Greek history and mythologies that I ended up liking Odyssey despite the RPG elements.
I don't feel like Unity's parcour is overrated, but I feel that it could be so much better :/ everytime I play Unity Arno gets stuck somewhere or missteps :/ meh xD
The brutality is something I wish the ither games had. If they want to be historical they should depict just how dangerous these weapons were at the time. People got easily amputated by a wrong move back then.
Valhalla was a terrible game (and an insulting disregard for historical authenticity for an AC game) - however, I found requiring assassinations to be timed in the circle for powerful enemies to be a really genius solution that still allowed one-hit assassinations while also making it more challenging for harder enemies.
People who say AC odyssey isnt an AC game are Objectively wrong. Its packed to the gills with Isu and first Civ lore. Odyssey does feel more like a spinoff then a main line game, but to say it isnt an AC game is false.
One thing that is intresting for is that you said here the ac unity parkour isnt overrated but in other video where you were ranking you said ac unity parkour is overrated and its not great
Quite a few people that aren’t fans of Ezio? What?😂 pretty much everyone loves him & regards him as the best protagonist it’s rare to find someone who doesn’t like him
Check out the other video I made where I gave one thing I DISLIKED.

Looks like you're destined to watch all of them
AC 1: The cutscenes that introduce the targets as well as the memory corridors with assassinating them.

One think I loved about AC Syndicate were the twins, Evie and Jacob. Just loved the overall banter between the two.
Unity’s parkour I can play forever . Every route is different and there’s so many animations.
I choose Alexios not knowing this and now it doesn’t seem right
Trust me the the first 2 dlcs are 10x better than the main game and this is coming from someone who wanted to return the game
Thank you, and yeah I do plan to create one. I just gotta find the time to create it. Got a lot of things going on at once
@@TheHiddenOne690 alright, just so yk, i can help u if u want (:
For syndicate I liked the kidnapping, I think it makes sense when you're an assassin
Mine
Ac 1 Altairs Outfit
Ac 2 Soundtrack
Ac Brotherhood Setting
Ac Revelations Story
Ac 3 Combat
Ac 4 Black Flag Setting
Ac Rogue Gadgets
Ac Unity Parkour
Ac Syndicate Stealth
Ac Origins Setting
black flag / rogue (they are the same) were my favorite in terms of gadgets. putting a guard to sleep to attract more guards to him then making a grenadier go berserk was so fun. but diversifying your approach in these games in general also helps make it less repetitive and boring
@@marus2249 The rope darts where a fantastic addition to 3 Black Flag and Rogue.
Dont forget about Rogue's Outfits as well
@@zalankhan5743 The assassin killer outfit looks beautiful.
I'll forever remember AC2 as my favorite, captivating from the start!
AC1: best environments for parkour
ACB:
ACR: Story
AC2: hiding spot assassinations
AC3: homestead missions
AC4: whistling
ACFC: Adewale, best robes of the playable Assassins, machete
AC Rogue: more environmental tools
ACU: stealth
ACS: also stealth
ACO: tomb exploring
I haven't played the last 2
What I love about brotherhood side content is that they keep coming. Compared to the other games where once you did the all, you're left with the storyline, well brotherhood you do what you can, then finish a sequence. When a new séquence start, you have new side missions too
AC 1 : the story in general
AC 2 : almost everything but mainly Ezio and his whole arc throughout the game
(Didn't play Ac Brotherhood or rev)
AC 3 : it's just fun,nothing more to it.
AC 4 : Edward's personality
(Didn't play rouge)
AC Unity : THE PARKOUR
AC Syndicate : Jacob and Evie's dynamic and Jacob's character in general
AC Origins : Bayek and his journey and hunt for revenge
AC Odessey : the fact that you can make choices that change the outcome of the story
(Didn't play Valhalla)
I have played all of them besides AC1 (waiting for the remaster)
AC2: Leonardo Da Vinci
AC Brotherhood: The Brotherhood system
AC Revelations: The tower defense segments
AC3: Connor's and Haytham's relationship
AC4: Ship battles
AC Rogue: Being able to play as a Templar
AC Unity: Arno's cloak
AC Origins: The creation of the Assassin order
AC Odyssey: The long lasting combat (especially on nightmare difficulty)
AC Valhalla: The raids (my favorite thing of any AC game so far)
wait how about syndicate
Awesome Video! Thankss. Can’t wait for Mirage🔥
My favorite thing from unity is Arno cuz he’s a lot like Flynn from Tangled and that’s my favorite prince in Disney
2:32 altair kind has a series with a mobile (psp and ds) prequel and sequel
I have never played or watched any assassin's creed, yet here I am!
I really liked how in black flag you dual wielded allowing you to assassinate 2 enemies at once
Dude unity literally has the most loved parkour of the series everyone wants that on every game lol (me included)
Templars in ancient Greece? It wouldn't make sense.
@@ViniciusThor---And the Cult of Kosmos did? C'mon.
Certain depictions of historical characters has always been one of my favorite things about all of the assassins creed games
I've been on a journey, playing/replaying every game this series has to offer, and I decided to give my opinion here as well, so for me, it would have to go something like this:
Assassin's Creed: The story.
Everyone who sniffed the air that day in Siwa!"
As for the final 2 games as of now, I have not replayed Odyssey yet, and I've never played Valhalla before. I will probably update this comment when I do, but all in all good video. If you want me to talk about the problems I have with Unity's parkour to more extent, let me know. Because my problems go beyond that analogy that you said while stating your favorite part about that game.
Things i like in my opinion from AC2 TO AC4 (didnt play ac1 but i will play it soon)
AC2: The Entire story plus the italian atmosphere and renesaince cities
ACB: Continuation of ezio's story
ACR: Switch from italy to Constantinipole in my opinion is pretty good as the city is well made and i really like the turkish vibes
AC3: Parkour on trees and return of multiple towns like it was in AC2
AC4: Sailing through the ocean
The general movement in Unity was great! Smooth and speedy. But trying to get through a window was IMPOSSIBLE! if u were climbing on the side of a building, and decided u wanted to go throught a window, the character would jump from one side of the window to the other like there was a gap in the middle insdead of just shimmying to the opening. once u were at the opening, sometimes he would jump up instead of climing in.
Another thing better In Ac3 is in IMO, the best Combat in The Series.
Also Syndicate had much better Stealth than many Games in the series.
Does anyone know that armour in Valhalla? 14:03
I have to say, i would have loved to see Edward turn into a more stoic and serious character as he develops through the story, almost like what we saw in the trailers
ac: introduction to the creed and the assassins
ac II: beginning of ezio's journey
ac Brotherhood: Rome and the assassins mechanic
ac Revelations: a proper send off to Ezio (definitely my favorite version of ezio) and Altair
ac III: the setting, haythan, homestead mission
ac Black flag: arrgh 🏴☠️
ac rogue: a different perspective and the assassins in north america at it's peak
ac unity: everything beautiful just great apart for the optimization
ac syndicate: the twins
ac origins: the story, how the hidden ones were created, the setting
ac odyssey: nothing hardly even a ac game wasted a great setting
ac valhalla: same as odyssey
Really hope we get Unity and Syndicate on the Switch. Recently picked up The Rebel Collection and really enjoying playing it again.
Great Video!
I can tell you what I like about every assassin creed that I’ve played:
AC Odyssey: THIS IS SPARTA (I love Spartans)
AC 3: Homestead system
AC 4: pirates
AC origins: ancient egypt
AC Valhalla: Viking era:
AC Syndicate: Characters/Historical figures.
AC Unity: Definitely the parkour
"Who else deserves a trilogy is a debate for another day" (flashes Edward real quick, debate done🤣)
😉
AC2 - :
- It is a good life we lead, brother
-The best. May it never change
-And may it never change us
Followed by Ezio's Family Soundtrack which became somewhat the main theme of AC
I'm new here and I definitely subbed because this is some really informative content, but is it just me or does it feel like Ubisoft didn't know they were gonna continue past AC revelations? Especially since ezio is the only one with a trilogy. Idk it may just be me.
Ac1: Investigations and actually feeling like an assassin
Ac2:Ezio
AcB:The tools and combat
AcR:Altairs missions, the map, and the parkour
Ac3: Better graphics
Ac4: The World
AcRogue: Seeing the other side of the fight.
Ac Unity: Oh man a long list uh BEST PARKOUR, BEST STEALTH, Most realistic combat and BLACK BOX MISSIONS
Ac Syndicate: Blackbox missions
Ac Origins: The story
Ac odyssey: uh idk I haven’t play the game
Ac Valhalla: Social stealth is kinda back and not useful at all kinda. But probably not needing to do side missions a lot to level up.
Ac Mirage: So far it looks like a return to the roots.
Overall Ac1, The Ezio Trilogy, Ac Unity, and Ac Origins are my favorite.
so cool!!! i agree with u in basicly everything
So far I’ve only played 2-Unity (currently playing unity) so so far I’d have to say
Ac2- the story
Ac Brotherhood- the missions
Ac Revelations- also the narrative but especially the ending
AC3- the time period
Ac4- the open world
Unity- the city of Paris
What I REALLY liked about Syndicate is the very EDGY outfits and cosmetics, I can just go in the rooftops assassinate someone from above and use the grappling hook to quickly evade enemies... To me it feels more like a victorian era batman game than an assassin's creed game... Shame the Combat is dogshit...
anyone know what outfit he had on in valhalla at 13:02 ?🧐
It's the Modern Day Armor Set from the Animus Store. It cost 500 Helix
Edward deserved a 2nd game at least following him as a legit assassin where he is a full blown member of brotherhood id think of they did it as well it be cool if they intemplated stealth like unity but with better social stealth to show that he has been training with the assassins and gained better skill
what I loved about Origins?
Warden's Oath
Sincerely 1200 hours in for honor warden main
Just wondering. How come Ubisoft decided to make 3 games based on Ezio and not the other Assassin's? Like Altair?
OG writer left by Brotherhood. And also the book series making it not possible to continue one characters story since they're pretty much back stories and any stories that's after the game.
Thats is why i believe everyone loves Ezio is because he has a trilogy and you get to see him mature and develop. In my opinion i thought Bayek and Orgins wouldve been the perfect start to another trilogy.
Bruh sorry but as a history student hearing you say that AC Valhalla portrayed Vikings correctly made a blood vessel in my brain burst
"portrayed the brutality"
Yeah they are literally netflix vikings... same shitty clothes same shitty always fighting hurr durr bullshit-....
Tbh I'm not much of a fan for Unity's parkour. The animations are cool but with how much Arno stumbled after vaulting (from my experience) and how Arno looked like he was floating more than jumping it puts me off. To make this opinion sound worse i prefer AC1- Revelations parkour for a few reasons;
1)Diving into water is optional, by this i mean from AC3 onwards the player would automatically dive while in the previous games (excluding AC1) you would jump normally unless pressing jump again in the air you would start diving.
2) The movement from AC1- Revelations is more satisfying for me. The way Altaïr/Ezio climb, tic-tac and wall eject has a better sound and feeling and this is more me being picky but Arno's running animation looks like he has sticky armpits.
The thing I like about Valhalla has to be the story it brings especially when you have to save Sigurd.
13:24 what outfit is this?
It's the Modern Day Armor Set from the Animus Store. It cost 500 Helix
Playing through AC 2007 and honestly it has the best hidden blade combat in all the games
The only one I slightly disagreed with is Origins. At first, I was like, “what?!” Then you stated your reason and It made sense. But Origins overall was goated. Would like to see your opinion on the new game Mirage.
What i love from each AC game (main ones not included psp, nintendo ds and smarth phone games)
AC1- I love the game atmosphere, there is something unique about the enviroment both inside the simulation and outside with desmon.
ACR- Rogue best feature is the "flip the coin" idea, showing us the bad side of the Order we grew to love, i like how this game change our boots and forces us to see other perspective (but i still support the assassin's :P)
ACU- Unity i sby far my favorite game on this franchise, i love ezio but ever since AC one i dreamed about an assassin's on the french revolution, one of my favorite time periods, my favorite thing was the multiplayer, ever since brotherhood multiplayer i asked myself "why we don't have an coop option it would work way better if this assassin order fantasy" and unity delivered the answer, i loed to spend hour and hours doing the coop missions and heists with my friends.
Odyssey was my favorite...always been a big fan of Greek Mythology~
3 things I like about assassin's creed 2
1. Ezio
2. Ezio's family
3. Ezio's story
I like the ac 1 parkour the most in the series
We needed a sequel to AC: Origins were we got to play as Amunet with Bayek being the supporting character. We should've gotten that. But no we didn't. I feel like we've been robbed.
Revelations made me want a remaster/remake for the 1st game.
Love this series even the RPG ones. Thank you, UBISOFT, for giving us these games.
You have sidehop instead of side ejects so it's not less jsut different ones isntead of the old ones...
Wasn't rogue made in just a few months time? And by a smaller studio of ubisoft than normal? If so I can only respect the game all the better.
From start of the project to release, about 8 months and indeed, it was the first ac gme of ubisoft sofia
I'm a hypocrite for liking Odyssey even though I didn't like Origins and Vahalla. But it's because I love Greek history and mythologies that I ended up liking Odyssey despite the RPG elements.
I feel like Pausanias should have been leader of the Cult
I don't feel like Unity's parcour is overrated, but I feel that it could be so much better :/ everytime I play Unity Arno gets stuck somewhere or missteps :/ meh xD
Oh my arno frustrated me whenever I tried getting into windows
The brutality is something I wish the ither games had. If they want to be historical they should depict just how dangerous these weapons were at the time. People got easily amputated by a wrong move back then.
I love how AC unity is played. If Unity had better story it would be the best AC game ever. That's my opinion
"There are quite a few people who are not fans of Ezio" What?? Who are these deranged people??
You should rank each environment of each game
Valhalla was a terrible game (and an insulting disregard for historical authenticity for an AC game) - however, I found requiring assassinations to be timed in the circle for powerful enemies to be a really genius solution that still allowed one-hit assassinations while also making it more challenging for harder enemies.
People who say AC odyssey isnt an AC game are Objectively wrong.
Its packed to the gills with Isu and first Civ lore. Odyssey does feel more like a spinoff then a main line game, but to say it isnt an AC game is false.
I dont know why people hate on valhalla so much, amazing game imo
im from and live in greece and i loved ac odessey for beeing in ancient greece grunded they didnt make a few things othentic but it was good
2:02 who the hell doesn't like Ezio?
This list is more or less what i like about these games. Good choices.
Best part of odyssey was when the credits rolled
One thing that is intresting for is that you said here the ac unity parkour isnt overrated but in other video where you were ranking you said ac unity parkour is overrated and its not great
Honestly, for AC Valhalla, it was the soundtrack, everything else wasn't that great.
Quite a few people that aren’t fans of Ezio? What?😂 pretty much everyone loves him & regards him as the best protagonist it’s rare to find someone who doesn’t like him
Go look at my ranking protagonists video. Read the comments. 😁
The ezio trilogy has the most interesting and likeable characters in my opinion
Connor was betrayed by everyone and watched his village get burned to the ground, what do you expect from him?
Watch my "I was wrong about AC3" video. My opinion is different.
Ezio < Edward Kennway this is a well known fact
I can't agree more ❤
Every time Odyssey and Valhalla are mentioned in a video i skip right past lol
