I don’t think it’s a mimic. The descriptions of the skins and the empty eyes lead me to believe they are victims. It think the Neck thing is the Unknown itself, and the skin is just a puppet that it moves around. That’s why the limbs are all backwards and weird, it isn’t quite wearing the skin right, like the cockroach alien from Men In Black. It’s also possible that the man, cheerleader and old woman may all exist at once, each being one arm of the unknown as it puppets multiple corpses from some other dimension. If this is the case, it may have more bodies out there that the entity hasn’t captured.

Running Insidious on Unknown is super fun, pretending to be a clone. Spooking survivors when they want to dispel xd

Something I think you forgot to mention:
Weakened Survivor's portraits will be lit up when they are actively staring at you, giving you information that someone is near by.
The weakened state also generally allows survivors to be seen far more easily by the purple glow they give off, and the glow brightens while they actively stare at you as well, making it a decent tracking effect.

I think a very Strong Perk on The Unknown is rapid Brutality, bc if they're weakened they move 6% slower and if you hit them you are 5% faster

They dont move 6% slower when weakend, they are only slowed down by 6 when a ball goes through them and it lasts a really short time so it doesnt have a huge effect
i got a skin idea, for those who knows league of legends there is one character that would be perfect. If you know what he does in game fiddlesticks and unknown are sooo similiar the voicelines clones and EVEN those tentacles or the ball can fit him really good weapon is similiar (kind of). i know they said that they cannot change power skin but when i saw naughty bear trapper skin i think they could do it.

Bro, when I was playing as his killer, a girl walked up and I stand still but she was already hurt so when she walked by, I just hit her in the head and then I just kept repeating that until I won so that’s the easiest way to win as unknown😂

Correction: even if it hits the ground it still needs to bounce. Its really small but on bumpy floors its much more noticeable, and for some reason on one part of RPD by the stairs with the pallet it serves right? minor bug though.

I've had great fun using Unforeseen with Doctor. Because his Shock works with the terror radius you can wander off to stealth around and still get some shock value when they go to try and complete the gen. Especially good if gens are close together.

In one of my first games as the unknown, I accidentally downed a survivor because my finger slipped. It fired my uvx at the staircase and it BOUNCED off the flat part, through the doorway at the back of the main building and into the survivor's path. This was on Eerie of Crows. It's one of my favourite clips I've captured in dbd

A weakness I find with the Unknown is that it's a pretty loud killer. During chase I have lost survivor by not being able to hear them that great.
i finally got back into dbd after i lost all my progress from pc WHY CANT I CROSS PROGRESS WHEN I PLAYED THE XBOX VERSION OF DBD ON MY PC. I lost so many skins and prestige levels it hurts but the bloodpoint event really helped and got me back into the game

13:57 Well, it kinda does, but in a way that may misinform survivors into doing bad plays
At one of my recent games the Unknown hooked me near a gen and kicked it. For almost 10 seconds I thought the killer was camping around a corner and was waving hands accordingly. Then there was a survivor who wanted to save me, but the terror radius was really loud, so they thought I was camped as well
That went for almost an entire duration. I started to suspect something is off at the midpoint, and we both understood it was Unforeseen once the Unknown started chase with another survivor. This perk is cruel, and I like it
I'm pretty sure it played so much five nights at Freddy's that I've become immune to jump scares. Make no mistake though, this killer is one that gets under your skin and I think that's more effective in horror then a controlled jump scare.
Game should be called dead by teammates. I play with people that are level 100 while im level 6 and I survive longer. I can run this killer for a long time but people that are high leveled last only like 30 seconds which is still a decently long time. This killer isn't hard to run so i don't wanna hear survivors ever complain.

i always like how different people interpret these more ambigous killers. You say he´s amimic trying to immitate horror tropes. I personally think its more like john carpenters the thing, but kinda reqally bad ad mimcry. he doesnt try to pass as someone else, he just really doesnt want to be seen. he doesnt attempt to be the guy, he is that wormy huy hiding sides someones skin.
I don't even play DBD but the Unknown makes me want to play, only downside to unknown is that he doesn't have a crawling mechanism, only in animations

They should collaborate with left 4 dead 2 again and give him a skin like the spitter, make the UVX like acid spit.
Unforseen is great with Chucky but undone is a little bit burnt might be Descent with the doctor or sadiko but would be better if instead of 1% per token it was 2% or even 3%

I think hes a thing, like from John Carpenters "The Thing" I mentioned it to my girlfriend while we were playing and she said it makes sense so it's been my head canon.

Also I disagree at11:40 While not amazing, I do think the film is plenty strong as it lets you set up hallucinations early and it almost works as a lethal pursuer at the start of the game since you can see the purple sphere on survivors heads from very far away and theres only one map it blends in on, plus you can't distortion it
soo here me out, the simple fact that he has a iridescent that can leave his stain and radius, i have been stopping in place after looking in a random direction and survivors will check, even though im not running the add on. you almost get a free juke just cause the add on exists. like it counter plays players with more knowledge
I think it would be even better if he was trying to mimic other survivors. Like some trying to fit in type vibes since the OG half ass looks like Dwight.
