My excuse for tunneling is an extreme medical case of myers and ghostface main syndrome
An addition to Mistake 1:
If you're preparing to abandon a chase, first look to see if you can get rid of a resource. An extra few seconds to force a pallet drop and break is often well worth it, especially early in a match
The number of times I find someone at shack and make sure they throw shack pallet before I drop the chase...so good for later in the game when they don't have it
I remember an otz video reviewing a deathslinger qnd saying "that he could have gotten a shot there" or something, only for it to be a setup for forcing shack pallet drop and him saying "nevermind"
I'm gonna make an amendment to the toxicity rule. If you're getting frustrated do not feel bad for putting the game down. Your prefrontal cortex literally starts to shut down when you become agitated. That's the area where complex decision making happens. Learn stress reduction techniques so you can handle both toxicity and really tough matches in general. However, if you're feeling tilted then you very literally will not be thinking clearly, and you will make more mistakes, and you will get more agitated.
If you can't take a breath and GG go next, then take a break. The game will be there when you're feeling better.
GLHF in your next everyone!
Thanks for the advice man
the most drastic change in how you take losses depends on age, i started playing this game when i was 12, i got mad often, now i get a lot less frustrated
Honestly, sometimes when survivors are being toxic and im out of patience, i just leave the game and let them playing by themselfs

The number 1 mistake is starting to play killer, never gone through more mental torture Fr
Killer is fun in my opinion
Killer us waaay better than survivor, then again I mostly play solo q so that makes sense
Number 0 is starting to play dbd in general
I honestly find survivor more frustrating. Granted tombs, daily rituals and steam achievements are all important to me, and as killer I can straight up farm most of them as I please.
Plus I tend to get more BP for my time and over all killer is just the more fun side of the game.
I wonder if there's any affiliation with people who identify as the 'Explorer' player type and people who prefer killer.
Playing as killer is definitely harder but playing as survivor in solo queue is more frustrating most of the time. I've noticed when I play killer I get nothing but prestige 10+ almost every game but when I play survivor I'm constantly stuck with new players that have no idea how to play or are just dumb af
Lightborn, aka: Uno Reverse card, is just a fun perk. When survivors shine a flashlight at you, turn your screen and pretend you can still be blinded. They'll keep thinking you're almost blinded while you waltz up and hit them. They'll try this several times before they understand 🐢
Idk what survivors ur going against but when u flash a killer the flashlight is gonna do a big blink indicating u have blinded the killer and when said killer has light born it doesn’t blink the flashlight
@@droxyyt7644 that's why he said turn silly, I've played an entire round where survivors thought they had a chance to blind me by looking down or slightly to the left. The meg at the end Even said they thought I was just really good at avoiding the beam. They all had between 180-500 hours. So it's most definitely doable.
sounds fun!
Reason why I love the perk so much. It's so funny when I'm holding a surv and see a Leon/other come running up, drop a flash bang and run off like a hero like he just saved them. 😂
As a Myers main, Lightborn is so strong.
Rsther than turn away, I stalk them through the beam and tombstone the bozo.
28 is so crucial. I cannot stress how important thinking of your three gen is. There are maps where the three gen is so strong that I’ve had survivors just walk up and ask to be stabbed; they know there’s absolutely no way to win at that point. On Hag in particular, a good three gen makes you effectively invincible. 🐀
I was about to comment about it. I'm surprised that content creators don't mention 3 gens in their gameplay, when they're almost always doing 4ks with 1 gen left at 80% or so.
And because everybody says 3 gen camping is toxic, I just stopped focusing on them and I'm always losing because of it.
It happened to me just today, in dead dawg saloon the gen on top of the main building, at the end of the main road, near the main road and behind the house near the main road were so close that even if they were 4 surv with 4 tool boxes and 3 brand new parts they couldn't do anything
Had a blight match on sanctum of wrath where Ace Visconti offered himself up to me like a thanksgiving turkey because I could get to every generator within seconds
As a semi-new player, I can agree that 3 genning is really good and puts a lot of pressure on survivors. Learning Hag atm and there have been plenty of moments where late game I just have the map on lockdown because the 3 gen is really good.
@@victorjozek5384 Thats the reason they call it Toxic. If its good 4 the Killer its toxic also the other way around
One thing that I personally think helps too is trying to not focus too hard on what the meta perks or builds are when you're starting off. If you just look at a guide for whatever the meta for the killer you want to play is before you get a good feel for all the other perks will only stunt your creativity in the long run since you learn A LOT from experimenting with builds and low mmr will probably mean you don't need to sweat every game.
This also leaves you with tons of creativity later on that can be used to create wacky "Not optimal but fun" builds that you can play when you want to take a rest from the sweatfest.
The only autopilot I have is playing fairly and hooking everyone before going for a kill, by keeping track of hook states on each survivor. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing, I just keep doing it.
Wow i thought i was the only one that did that
I do that as well
Real homies play fair and don't camp👉 😩👉
It depends on the survivors. If theyre good youre going to lose, if they arent good youll get a draw-win.
Usually i start with juggeling and see how its going. If ive got 1 survivor on death hook and another hooked and were still at 4 or 5 gens ill chase someone else. When 2 gens are left someones got to go. If were at 1 gen and im on my first hook, time to set up the tent.
I wouldn’t consider that autopilot because you’re actively thinking 😅 autopilot is when you’re not really paying attention and are just holding W and hitting the closest person to you
As a killer main who sits in iri 1 often. This video speaks tons, a lot of good info. I’d suggest watching and studying these ideal tactics
Dropping chase really is the #1 mistake. Once i started dropping more chases i started winning more games, even on killers im not as familiar with.
Exactly like when I’m getting pissed on getting looped I just drop chase bruh not worth it
Number 5 is honestly the most prevalent on Huntress. The amount of times I've screamed "JUST M1!" while either playing against Huntress or watching others play as her is downright ridiculous
yeah but some people m2 huntress only for the fun of it. Like Spookyloopz. he is a nasty Huntress main and he never M1s
@@brandona9326 I'm not talking about when someone is good enough to hit all M2s, I mean when I look at someone throw all of their hatchets trying to hit a guy literally 360ing them
Could be doing a daily.
It's probably partially cause you recover faster from hitting someone with your M2 over your M1 on her, but it's definitely not worth it when you're missing every hatchet. At that point, there's no shame in just hitting with your basic attack
Sometimes i want practice. Dead serious.
Pro tip:If you are trying nurse-remember 15-20 seconds for a chase then go back to checking all gens. She has the best map pressure this way
Fun fact: The lingering aura of Awakened Awareness is still there, it's just coded to 0 seconds, so if you bring lethal pursuer with this you can bring back the original effect to 2 seconds of extra Aura 🐖
Talk quietly we don’t want the nurse players hearing 🤫
@@oliverthedum2129 I have already spread this to so many videos on so many content creators man you're too late
Great and helpful list! However, I disagree on a few things:
-Camping and tunneling: I wouldn’t say camping and tunneling are a mistake, they’re situational: you can either make the smartest or the dumbest play by doing so. I mean, the game is not balanced and most of the times getting mixed hooks will lead the killer to a loss if the survivors are good enough, all that matters are kills…which is kinda sad.
I do agree that Lightborn is a meme perk and it’s not worth a perk slot, but Franklin’s demise is actually useful on certain killers (like Hag) and it helps countering busted items like med kits,
About Noed, it’s a 50/50. People either use Noed as a crutch perk (which is wrong and will actually make improving as a killer harder like you said) or because it’s necessary on certain killers (they know how to play and they’re experienced) . Using Noed on Sadako, Wraith and all the weak killers is a good thing to compensate for all their weaknesses, that’s the sad truth: some killers need Noed to stand a chance against good survivors and it makes sense from a winning point of view. Just make sure it doesn’t hurt your progresses to become a better killer.
I agree with noed and lightborn but franklins, theres some items that you literally cant do anything about such as op medkits and toolboxes (especially medkits) so getting them away from survs is always useful + is fun as hell
I feel like playing Cenobite Franklin's is pretty much good
But usually if 1 survivor has lost an item to franklims others can quickly cluck onto it and hide there items on the map.
@@Xenia2812 First that requires cordination something the majority dont have, second that makes them loose alot of time that would be useful on gens and third i've never seen anybody do that in my entire life.
@@diogostw7286 well i do lol. I click onto franklins pretty quick maybe my mmr is higher then ur idk. But i see alot of players do it and its worse if you have swf
@@Xenia2812 Well my mmr is as high as it can be, and i play alot of killer and see a lot of high mmr content creators and i've never seen someone doing that
Something to add to your tip about perks is to follow a general rule, two slowdown, one info and one utility perk. For example, Jolt, Sloppy Butcher, Bitter Murmur and Shattered Hope. Every Killer has different needs, but this is the most basic build and perks I can give. I see far too many Killers stack 4 slowdown on Huntress and have no idea where anybody is, or 4 info perks on Hag lol. It's important to have a diverse build with built in synergy.
@Elite Sports Talk On Huntress I absolutely adore Darkness Revealed. It's such a nice perk for info and combos really well with Iron Maiden. My build on Huntress is Lethal Pursuer, Darkness Revealed, Deadlock and Iron Maiden. Its much more Chase orientated and you need to be landing your Hatchets.
Yep I'm somewhat new to the game but even I run into toxic player's. It's best to sometimes chase a little them ignore them. Some will even take offense and try even harder to bug you and they will put themselves in bad positions
0:33 45-60 seconds of a chase has been way too long, and if you haven’t landed a hit in that time, you’ve probably already given up a gen
29 IS SO TRUE THO! I only started to play DBD because I watched UA-camrs play killers. When I started, was of course unranked going against similar but more experienced people. Yet I had watched these expert killers and their tactics, and I would use those tactics in the early levels I absolutely crushed every game I was in. Of course now it’s not always the case, rank has climbed and match making is SOMEWHAT more balanced but yeah.
It's funny how Deadslinger can shoot through a tiny empty space in the boarded up Killer shacks, but the top of a bush will absolutely deny your speargun it's purpose.
The leaves are too strong
“For 20 seconds of regression takes survivors 5 seconds to make up”
*Laughs in Call of Brine stacked with Overcharge*
Plus Ruin if you want to be evil.
Unless those don’t stack with Ruin. I don’t know lol.
@@CrazyHookDBD They don't. You can't kick gens that are already regressing and Ruin automatically begins regressings gens that aren't being worked on. So Ruin pretty much disables those perks. Same with Surge and Pain Res. Overbrine + Enduring + Spirit Fury or Overbrine + Bamboozle + Brutal Strength is the way to go for M1 killers. Maybe Brutal Strength + Corrupt Intervention if you want to force the early game hook but Overbrine is a good combo on most killers.
Less useful on high mobility killers that rely on constant speed and chasing to keep their pressure up, can't be taking the time to go kick gens every time.
@@redshirt49 thanks
9:09 great tip. Theres also a small mind game you can do where you go left like youre going to go around, then go back right like youre going to go that way then kick the pallet. If you learn to time this right youll be half way through kicking it as they pass back in front of you, cutting even more distance to catch up.
HUGE important tip for bodyblocking on Legion:
There's this really stupid thing where you lose collision while you're in the 4sec frenzy recovery. If the survivor catches you mid-animation, they can pass right through you.
It’ll at least still work on people who know about body blocking but not know this weakness
The biggest tip is to hook camp because it’s quicker and more efficient to just wait for the survivors to come to you rather than start after them when they have a 5,000 mile lead on you and will just keep running into oblivion
I second number 29. I had never main’d or played Huntress (other than the one time when I got totally demolished) until I watched Maxx‘s super insane Huntress gameplays. I figured from the videos where you could find the centre of screen, the wind-up time, etc.
The results? I averaged around 7 hooks almost immediately after watching the gameplays. So yeah, watch other content creators and ffs don‘t let the frustration get into you. Good players didn‘t cry and whine from their mistakes, they learned and got good.
You create next level videos
Jeep up the good work 👍
thank you so much!
Its funny. I started watching this video in the lobby waiting for the game to load, and I noticed an immediate difference. I pegged out the weak links and the characters who were experienced, and focusing them saved me a lot of sanity. I still lost all four in the end, but that's just because the two experienced ones were way better than me since I'm not as experienced
Your tip about going after weaker links has helped me so much!!!!!
And not kicking gins I still kick them if I’m not in a chase tho!
I have a funny story about that last tip. When I was just a few hours into the game, I was facing a survivor that kept following me and flashing me every time I picked up a survivor, however they were too good at chases for me to catch them. At the end when everyone else escaped, she t-bagged me and I managed to knock her down and grab her. Still my most satisfying moment to this day.
13:26 funny enough I ran into nothing but people with the most toxic t bagging mind games and heavy anti killer perks and items. And was able to 4k all of them every time last night. For a split second I contemplated leaving but stuck it out and dear lord was it satisfying. Oh so satisfying. Legit those games made me love the game even more. The dopamine you get from crushing toxic survivors is bliss, pure euphoria
Slugging is good on certain killers, depending on your strategy. For instance, if you're going for condemned kills with Onryo, then you shouldn't be afraid to slug.
As a killer main i strongly disagree with the term "crutch perks" BHVR does nothing but buff survivors every update. I believe as a killer if something is working for you and is fun for you then keep using it. Also with the recent buff to Renatos perk (with the 200% speed boost when killer is picking up) Flashlight saves are increasingly harder to counter especiall when the survivor is using a suped up one (which they should always be doing because anything lower than a green with top addons is garbage)
Long story short, survivors deserve no leniency in your play style as a killer, use everything you can to keep the game to your advantage.
if a squad is all running flashlights I'm still gonna use lightborn though
Why didn't that click to me, that's such a good idea.
Nice video man keep up the hard work 🐐
thank youuu 💙
The reason why I use Lightborn isn’t because the flashlights are are annoying, it’s just really fun to use. Yesterday I had a match about a team full of flashlights and they were all grouped up flashlighting me but I had Lightborn and it was so fun to see their brain stop working when I managed to down 2 of them 🐷
Watching content creators, I think, has contributed the most to multiplayer games becoming ultra competitive and stressful. Yes, people would have discovered meta/meme builds and min/max strategies on their own, but the info would not spread like wildfire with everyone trying to immediately copy it.
After fully watching the video 🦍:
A couple things that are very suggestive as tips->
"Not bringing franklins" i understand one should learn to face items however if you see the survivors all have 4 med kits or 4 toolboxes its a very very useful perk to have for it can just either prevent a heal, stop some fast gen progression etc.
"Dont lose your 3 gen" i agree with this however not the way you said it, for Killers like Trapper and Hag should be prioritizing defending their 3 gen IMMEDIATELY on starting the game, their web or parameter they set up is their only power not going for this immediately causes them to have a extremely difficult time, they don't play like other killers they set up thats what they should do instantly.
"Not tunneling or camping" This is the most EFFECTIVE strategy in the game for a reason, to discourage this is just trying to be nice. Even when people knowingly have reassurance which is rare now a days they almost never use it efficiently and go for unhooks even after using it. And when it comes to tunneling if survivors are forcibly blocking and trying to prevent you from downing this person all this does is mean even more survivors are not doing gens. But if you do get that person downed its a 3v1 and the game becomes DRASTICALLY more in your favor, so you should take any opportunity that presents itself to get a survivor out of a match as SOON as possible to not do that is a detriment.
Yes to all of the above
I think the message got switched halfway through. At first it seemed that the tips were on how to win games, like "Dont use your power if you can m1", but then later it switched to "don't camp or tunnel or use crutch perks because even if you win, you won't be improving as much". Its just a bit confusing, thats all.
Ive been playing dbd for 12 days now (aside from playing on release) and I bought Blight on day 4 or something. I knew this was risky but it payed off surprisingly well. Most of the games I play are 4ks. Sure this wasnt the case for the first few days but it is now. Aside from the 4ks blight is just very fun :) 10/10 great decision
Wow thats nice for you even though this comment was from 4mo ago thats cool i was able to get a 4k on my second match as oni.
@@Someguy9-m7x That's cool as this was 4 months ago I main oni now instead of blight and oni is just too much fun
Only mistake I made as a new player based on this list is picking a difficult starter killer. But I can’t help it, Nurse is too fun.
🐥Not enough videos teaching killers how to hunt properly. Thank you for your advice!
Camping is actually useful only in one scenario: hooked survivor has 5 to maybe 15 seconds left on hook so it's just better for you to camp him out, secure the stage/kill and move on. And tunneling i see kinda pointless, even on killers like Pyramid head. Like... If you have an urge to remove someone from the game ASAP - that means this survivor is good at looping. And it will be more beneficial to just ignore that exact guy and eliminate others. He's not going anywhere if he'll have only one teammate remaining and 3+ gens to work on :)
About toxicity... I was really mad about troll squads back in the days. That was before i understood that toxic swfs are here for the other reason. They don't want to fix gens. They want to get your emotional reaction. Means they actually don't do gens most of the time or have like 1 guy on it. And that gives you, the killer, the most valuable resource you can have - time. Just drop the toxics and find that one who does gens. Tunnel him out fast. And the rest won't be able to do shit by and large.
12:16 did that rebecca have auto dh? lmao
Oml I just I not8ced that
LMFAO maybe tbh
Some of these pieces of advice are good, but I also think some of these are quite situational. Various perks make some of these pieces of advice quite moot. Like bamboozle for vaulting, or kicking gens for things like eruption, etc.
And the advice about not using M2 too much... Eh? I think for new killers, they should try to use it as much as possible. You may lose games a bit more, but there's only one way to get better. Particularly if the killer has particularly difficult M2 abilities, like Nurse, Spirit, Blight, etc.
You should really tell us the secret project you are planning 👀
:)
@@KytoYT Dead by daylight manhunt, the hints are kinda obvious I'm surprised many people havent figured out yet, also may feature dream as hinted with the constant smiley faces
I love flashlight clicking survivors. A lot of the time they will sit around while you are chasing someone and click at you which tells me there are less people on gens
Honestly, if there is one thing I can say is that the killer perk Whispers is a godsend if you want the information in maps.
Using Whispers will tell you when a survivor is close to you, and in most cases if you know the layout of some maps, can practically pinpoint a survivors location.
Pairing it with Iron Maiden will allow you to not only corner survivors, but prevent them from hiding in lockers, lest they give away their location and become exposed.
The other great thing about it is that it is by far the best perk on doctor (As well as distressing) as it can tell you when its a good time to fire of your static blast.
I may not be good; but I find that when people try 180/360ing you, backing up instead of standing still, while looking works better. This allows you to immediately make space once you spot them and it puts you back across from them so they can't abuse your fov without first closing the gap, which you're hopefully either capitalizing on or widening for more control. This lessens the effect of skill level and sensitivity too by widening your margin of error
Also a killer main and I agree with a lot of these, Just coming down to thank you for the one about ignoring the dead dog saloon gen… I was totally not pressuring it….. Totaly…..
anyways

I know this is an older video but another HUGE thing is NOT MEMORIZING HOOK LOCATIONS.
yes, you see their outline when you're carrying. But they won't show if you're right next to them even if separated by a wall, and on some maps they can be hard to spot. Remember where they are to minimize time spent carrying, reduce chances of them wiggling free, and if you see someone saboing the hook you're going to, you can turn right to a hook you know is nearby instead.
🐻 Animal emoji
6:41 That's good advice. Only, I gotta tell you something, I have seen smart people play. You know what they do? They all carry flashlights. So if you get stunned by a pallet, they blind you. There is a way to avoid this, and other moments where you can get blinded. I just wanted to mention that.
2:44 *decrease
oops
I love how he says don't vault TL walls and in the footage he's showing he gets a down by vaulting a TL wall
Free cam clips goin absolutely dummy
oh just you wait >:)
3:18 Had this happen to me yesterday. Was playing for awhile and was kind of tired at that point since I was trying to get to Iri 1 all night, but I was getting constant 4ks with Knight and was feeling confident. Sadly the tiredness paired with the confidence led me to kind of turning off my brain that match and getting no kills.
So piece of advice: do not continue playing even while you are tired or frustrated as it will only hurt your gameplay. Even taking a short nap before getting back on is good enough.
I sometimes bring franklins as most survivors will waste time going back to get their items back.
Wanna get better at killer?play some survivor
Wanna get better at survivor?play some killer aswell
The point is,if you're new to the game, that at some point you will see equally talented players on whichever side you play on,copy and paste whatever good strategy, moves or loops survivors were doing against you,or whatever new killer tricks you've seen
Also, take time to familiarize yourself with perks and addons,in the end game chat, observe and learn all of the stuff the player brought...,so many time I see players who, should have tons of experience, and are completely oblivious to how some perks work,I had this friend a p100 who didn't even understand how ruin really worked, she kept saying oh he kicked the gen with ruin, like girl no thats not how it work
So do yourself a favor
4:53 was crazy
I don’t know if you said these but I’ll say them I will also mix Survivor and killer tips.
1. (Beginner killers) If you down a survivor and put them on the hook don’t camp that hook till they die. if you wait out the entities progression is way slower instead go find other survivors so about time that survivor that was on the hook is off the hook you already downed another survivor(get the catch?)
2. (Beginner survivors) if you’re working on a gen by yourself always listen carefully for the terror radius or the heartbeats if the Terror radius is at a 12 or 24 RUN away. Same thing with working on a GEN with another survivor.
3. (Experienced killers) as you get better at the game you will start to notice survivors trying to loop/360 you you’ll know when you see it. So I suggest turning your sensitivity to at least 90 or 95 practice in custom game mode so it gets easier for you
4. (Experienced survivors) instead of looking in front of you while running from the killer always try to balance looking behind you in front of you to know where to go next.
5. (Advanced killers) whenever you spawn you always wanna look to the closest generator cause survivors that have experience will always know if you see them or not.
6. (Advanced survivors) know when it comes to looping or 360’ing you have to be patient with both of them The best places to loop a killer is T&L walls and shacks(further noticed on videos) now on 360’ing do you want to turn your sensitivity in my opinion at least 90 or 95 (further notice in videos)
And the last and final two tips (Long time killers and survivors)
7. For killer you should know how to mind game shack 10 hours and tight pallets by now
8. For survivors The main goal for survivors is to play with the killers mind
Now for some of these tips I can’t explain well so you’ll have to use videos but I hope some of these helped you🎉🎉
@KytoYT i would say for tip #1, more like if you cant get a hit within 20 seconds, then move on. 45 seconds might be enough for a Gen Rush squad to get some Gens done, if you can get a hit within 15 its good since unless they have a medkit you can provide slowdown to bring them to a halt.
Im halfway through the video but the ONLY reason I kick every door is if I'm playing wraith and I have a 3 gen setup, I need to flow between them ASAP to keep kickign them but spot on list so far!
Good tips.
the grab at 3:58 was a little suspicious
Started playing like a week ago, been having lots of fun with xeno, especially with what good survivors do with turrets.
Epic video dude love the editing
thank you :D
@@KytoYT thumbs 👆
4:18 sometimes it's just ptsd, although you know the survivor is using sprint burst, you still waste 5 seconds to wait for dead hard
Stop using lightborn, me “no, I don’t think I will”. I just like it when someone desperately tries to blind me then get put into the dying state, happens more often then you think
🐺🐺 And yes that last tip was also from my recent game it was so annoying :/ Also those survivors were running around me when I tried to hit them and kind of trolling me cause maybe they saw that I'm new killer. Anyway thanks by the way of these tips😊👍
As a new killer, I'm just working on getting a general gen regression/slowdown build because I don't love the stress of feeling like I'm on a clock. It makes me make more stupid decisions and makes the game less fun having to be so concerned about gen rushing
Wow this helped a lot. There were some I did know but there were also alot of things I didn't know
Thanks for the advice now survivors knows what killers are thinking 😂
Now killers go watch the survivors videos. 😂
@@mind_control_really_sucks_ reverse the reversal. I respect that.
I disagree with not using stbfl on pig. She’s a heavily M1 relied killer, the dash is really only good around tight loops and mindgames. She needs the help due to how random her power is and slow she is compared to every other stealth killer
Thx for the tips even though i didn't really need them but i like the very nice explanation and tips 🐟
The ONLY time I ever use Lightborn is when it's a 3-4 flashlight squad. I don't like using it but it has saved a few rescues from people who are desperate to get that blind off. Almost each one of those teams will also have a Blast Mine or Flash Bang in their back pockets. But these are fantastic tips.
I find it so hard to get over the frustration of toxic players. But if I'm being honest, it's helped me progress through the game. I remember on the first day I started playing DBD this one guy took it so far with the toxicity that he DM'd me calling me trash and saying that I should delete the game immediately but unfortunately that's not the first time it's happened to me. I just wanna say to never let these people get to you. Because nothing they say is true and they are just there to piss you off for their own selfish reasons.
:43 When he says 45 seconds to a minute hes talking for both hits. A better way to look at it is 2 or 3, maybe 4 pallets. Then the next person you chase you want to try and zone towards those pallets that you got rid of.
One thing that I’ve noticed it when I’m playing a killer I’m super fucking slow and it’s hard to catch anybody, but when I’m playing the victim, the killers are always right up my ass running faster than me
Ive said it for years! - a tbagging suvivor is a survivor losing distance in chase
I wouldn't discourage trying out harder killers, as I played pre-buff Billy as my first killer, and he immediately became my favorite killer
The body blocking one is soooo true, I love getting a good body block and the survivor is just still running into me lmaoo
Most important rule. Killer is the single player game mode. Have fun you dont need to help your team you can lose without hurting anyone. So just be goofy
**The crippling anxiety of whether that gen over there is about to pop**
If you play Billy, keep track of good infinite dash spots. I held a 4 Gen on a coldwind infinite because it went past all of them really close
Tip 16 kinda resonates with me, I started with Michael and Ghosty…then went to Blight…on console. Needless to say it was an adjustment.
Thanks so much for this video!!
9:37 midwich also has a really nasty breakable door
Don't tunnel at any cost
Myers and Ghostface mains: well I take that rather personally
As a xeno main whenever someone vaults or drops a pallet close to me it's basically just a free hit for me, I usually run noed but I'm taking it off since it doesn't do much for my build, replacing for tinkerer ^^
I'm new to DbD, and plaher trapper and wraith. When surviors start to tea bag and, fake disarm my traps in front of me. It makes me move some of my traps into bushes and tall grass near the bait traps, then I position myself in a way so that when I start to chase them they are getting pushed near me kill traps. All while weaving around my bait. I had a 4 man flashlight team last night that was bming the whole time. I ended up getting all of them because they were so focused on being bm they didn't do generators. I will say as a new trapper the best part about him is if you have a dead zone, kill zone, bait lines, and 3 generators near each other. You basically win.
ever since I first played dbd I knew about this 13:25 like the first time someone dropped a pallet on me and teabagged I legit said out loud, "are you gonna run or just let me kill you?"
I agree with nearly everything, but you ain't making me take off my beloved crutch perk.
Ever since Blast Mine came out, I haven't taken Lightborn off at all.
At least when I do inevitably get blast mine'd, I get aura reading on whodunnit XD
The take 3 gens tip helped me so much when it came to Onryo just wish I could find your tips for the character.
Thanx for the help! I’m about 3 days old to this game and I’m trying to be a pinhead main who’s my favorite movie monster ever! Ghostface is a close second so I spent a couple bux as soon as I started playing 🐳🐋
you really love using that one blight clip on rpd against the ada man this is like the 4th or 5th video ive seen where you use it lol
Maaaan thanks dude. I'm new to the game and I got frustrated because I got flashlight bullied by higher level survivors when I was only less than 10 games in 😢
I'm new to the game, and I followed your tip to patrol the three gens that are close when I was playing Nurse on the Hawkins Lab map. Had three gens that even Nurse could patrol very easily at the end (one by the exit, one down the hall at the corner, and one in a nearby room to the exit). I didn't even force them to these gens; it's just what they ended up with. After extending the match by literally 20 minutes on those three gens, I got tired of waiting and ended up killing the 2nd to last person. Last person got away through the exit on the far side. In the chat after the game, they accused me of "camping gens" and were really mad at me. Did I do something I shouldn't have? Or were they just mad that the game took so long?
i remember when i first played killer in dbd i used to accidentally proxy camp because i was scared of the survivor getting saved for some reason
I love the head nods :)
thank you :D
I ALWAYS TANK PALLETS! That's why I play Freddy, some Freddy's respect normal pallets & tank their own and I'm like "why?"
