I never seen this. holy cow. The entire cast were like family. They were always welcome in my living room on monday nights. I cried while sitting on the floor while painstakingly ,watching the last episode in 1983. I had my own "hooch -still " that I ordered . it was just like the one found in the "Swap" and yes it worked and had real whiskey or bud light in it.
I wish they would add all extra footage bloopers interviews everything to dvd to go with the box set would be awesome there has to be unseen footage idk
It's sad to see how the media& there coharts act with no respect what so ever @ a time when the mash cast obviously emotionally distraught mash was without question the greatest tv show ever God bless them for so many laughs& so many tears
I heard an interview with one of the cast who said that this was unexpected, that they thought they would get this time just among themselves. It is sad really. Although I am grateful as a fan to be able to watch this, it is unfortunate that they didn't get to do their initial grief/goodbyes in private.
You had to crack up over Harry Morgan's one-liners.

I love when Alan grabbed Loretta's hand when she started to choke up. Really sweet.
Goes to show you what kind of man Alan was.
This was an awesome show. Every season!
they gave us the best care anywhere.

In Mr.Alda's Character's words"If You don't give the command to cry..I..I..(Crying)will".
this is even more touching than Henry Blake's home movies his wife sent him.

Now why couldn't they have included this on the DVD?
would love to see a non-chopped version of this.
Irreplaceable Alan ❤️
I wish I knew what Alan whispered at 0:53
No one said, "I'm glad that the damned war finally ended." On the TV anyway
Fun fact the final episode Goodbye farewell and amen wasn't tge final episode that was aired
The video keeps skipping.
You ever watch VHS? Particularly one that's nearly 40 years old?
The sound quality of this important clip is absolutely terrible.
