Dude, the gems' colour depends on what part of the screen it lands on horizontally. Divide the screen up into 7 vertical strips and watch when each gem lands, it'll always be the same colour in each spot. 🙂 The colours from left to right on the display also correspond to the colour of each Boss Large Gem. Red first (furthest drop on the left) through Purple.
I'm pretty sure, too, that the *real* secrets happen only if you pick up all gems on every level in order, left to right..? Genius Game. Possibly one of the best games of all time imo.
Collecting the gems in the right order unlocks a bonus room on the boss stages and you get a power-up, but it doesn't affect the ending. I had real trouble keeping the game running so I just had to plow through it quickly.
@@AL82RetrogamingLongplays Going through all the bonus room nets you a 5 million point bonus at the end of the game, and either this, or RI Extra grant you 10 million points if you enter every secret room, but take nothing from them.
This game is memorable and how the big diamonds is used same as infinity stones when thanos was used. I mean the final boss is more than thanos or palpatine ones.

One of my favourite games ever, this game is so fun and addictive, i used to play this on my parent's nes :D

never had the pleasure of playing the arcade but had this on the c64 and I thought it was a great version and one of my favourites. cool video :)
