This one was awesome!! Really informative. I love this style.
😢😢
Much needed video!
Very informative.
Beautiful
I was so darn skeptical of the necessity of this video!!! 🤦🏽♀️ Thank you ma’am and Lowe’s. I always thought I had to stick to the ultra bright LEDs. So glad you explained “Lumens” !! Kudos!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
So glad it was helpful!
If my lighting fixture can only take a 60 watt bulb but I want brightness in the room, how do I achieve that? I don't really like the sterile/florescent feeling that the daylight bulbs give off. Is there an LED bulb that is bright white with more lumens that doesn't exceed 60 watts?

Hi
Hi.
Does size matter ?
😳
she said it does...
Size is important when considering the base and shape - The most common is the E26 base in screw-on home light bulbs regardless of what technology (Incandescent, LED, Fluorescent, etc.) they are. Lights shapes are usually a combination or shape and size and the most common shape is known as an A-Lamp (or A-Line). Hope that helps!
cute lady
😍
I just eat more carrots, and i dont need to buy any bulbs.

This was great information. With the changeover to LED bulbs, understanding what I’m looking for instead of Wattage was very helpful. Caroline@lunchbreakdiy did a great job!
wait a minute .. "the average household can save $225.00 a year" bs i have not, nor do i know of anybody spending that much on light bulbs in a decade..... just make up #'s..... sad
They're not talking about how much you'll save on the purchase of light bulbs. It's about your electric bill. You will save quite a bit by using LEDs.
We swapped out all our bulbs for LEDs. Looking at our electrical bill, we are currently trending about $15- $20 less a month over the previous 12 months.
@@SoCalGambler In addition, LEDs usually often last longer than incandescent lights.
no they did not say that
@@SoCalGambler right ;9)
So how many lumens was a 60w old bulb?
Thanks for your question. A 60w older incandescent bulb will be approx. 800 lumens; therefore, to replace a 60-watt incandescent bulb with a LED bulb of the same brightness, one should purchase a LED bulb that also gives 800 lumens. Hope that helps!!
