@@emilioresendiz2427 Codemasters is the developer. Both are EA company by the way, so it doesn't really matter. The development team is the same as previous year, but under EA flag with EA budget and EA market strategy. So expect less innovations and more micro transactions from this year on.
Agree on where AI doesn't even care you are there with them, this happen quite a lot when you side by side with the AI in certain fast corner especially when it's a chain fast corner like in jeddah 1st sector, silverstone maggots becketts, cota esses, and suzuka esses, like you said in the video that they don't care you're there, also there's one more problem that the AI dive bombs you on every hard braking zone even if u already cover the inside they still saw that 1 pixel gap as a viable overtaking spot resulting in corner cutting and give damage to themself or even you as a player, codies really needs to fix this
I've had issues where AI, because they are so fast on the straight, have just sent me spinning from hitting me from behind. I mean it's the straight, just go round me if you are faster, not force me off the track like they're in a nascar sim
Had that problem at the season opener in Bahrain, the AI of Verstappen dive bombed me three times so hard that i just let him go then fourth time because it was just too anoying to fight.
This is one of the reasons I still pay predominantly F1 2021 still. The contract system is better and poor performance will have actual consequences. The AI are FAR more enjoyable to battle with. I can use classics and enjoy them rather than those horribly simulated and modelled SuperCars which drive exactly the same as eachother. Oh and the AI actually recognise your existence.
@@dasmoools606 I actually enjoy 22 more than 21 and 20. Its just an extra challenge to deal with, just gotta make sure you change your driving style and give them space. Once you get your car and team upto a decent level then the AI aren't an issue
Another very important issue that leagues are dealing with is the fact that you cannot invite friends to the lobby anymore as soon as a session has started. A lot of people are dealing with frequent crashes so they have to restart the game. But if you do a league race, you only want certain people to be able to join and drive in the lobby, so the privacy settings would then be set to 'invite only'. Problem then becomes that if anyone's game crashes during a league race, they need to have spare invites waiting for them, otherwise they have no chance of getting back into the race
Another problem online comming from v.1.07: - without Formation Lap, tyre temps are at 70°C -simulating the Formation Lap immersive will give perfect tyre temps to the host, but the rest of the lobby stays at 70°C -> only solution: Formation Lap has to be broadcast right now. Then, everyone has 90°C
Drivers who are friends with any driver already in the lobby can request to join then be accepted by that driver &/or someone can send the initial invite via PSN chat (playstation 5), then add "said requestee" to the chat (if not already in it) whilst in the garage - however this is a work-around & agree there should be a simple invite option when in the pits/on track, like there was in 21
The MFD keeps disappearing still. Will be ruinous in some scenarios Even then, the strategist sometimes doesn't care whether we keep the current strategy or change to a new one under the MFD.
I really wish they would make a single F1 game with 4-5 seasons and a season pass where the same game is updated a ton, kinda like siege. So much new shit was broken just between 21 and 22 that I can't justify dropping 60$ for basically just new tracks and new cars with worse balance.
They need to bring back the difficulty slider at the loading screen. Not having that option anymore means you're locked into whatever god praying decision you've made before entering a session. And since the AI is so inconsistent over different tracks and even different sessions it's very hard to pick the right difficulty.
I'm in 2nd season of career mode and it's almost impossible to keep up with AI. Difficulty changes from race to race and It's imposible to complete any practice programs in Singapore.
It seriously annoys me that the AI has millisecond adjustments to the steering, throttle and breaking, while at the same time having their values so that it never becomes a fair fight. This causes some tracks to become ridiculously easy, while others becoming impossible with the same difficulty set. They really need to work with the same limitations that the player uses. I realise the daunting task at hand, but with the resources EA has, getting a few people with Deep Learning experience to teach the AI to drive with player cars shouldn't be too difficult. They already have a bunch of recorded footage from time trials. What they should do is collect data on driving, and with another AI rate the type of driving is good, bad, aggressive etc. so that they can create styles of driving. This could then be applied with the AI driving so that each driver has their own personality which is similar to their real life counterpart. As of right now I don't really feel a difference racing one driver from another except that one may be faster. This would make each race feel more unique and fair as the AI is using the same tools as the player.
They need to fix the issue in the league's where half the field are in wet conditions and the other half in dry conditions this is going to have an effect on the eSports
I watched jarno opmeers stream (WOR australia) after getting an issue with the pitstop turn in he talks about a beta test that did happen were he was already against it. Its a shame they had a beta test and still made so many mistakes tho
If he is referring to when content creators like myself got the game early, it wasn’t a Beta test. He would have to play the game even earlier if there was a beta test. Even still If it were only creators and esports drivers testing it, it isn’t enough because most players don’t play the same way as esports drivers or creators

it feels like the main issue is qualifying in both career and myteam, I qualified 15th in Austria and lost like half a second to the car in front even though I have the fastest car, in the sprint race on the same difficulty I managed to end up in P7 and from that I won the main race, tehy need to fix the max baulk torque, wight, upgrades and rebalance qualifying with the race
Best patch would be just taking back F1 life entirely. One of my favorite things about f1 2021 was seeing my car that I created in the career mode. I hate checking the weekly store every week to see the exact same cosmetics every week with a change in the cringy voice lines.
I think the weirdest thing with the ai change on career mode, as shown by Tiamarduk, he placed low in quali, got higher position in the sprint race, and then practially demolished the ai, while he upd the difficulty between those sessions
Sometimes the Practice Programes are undoable literally impossible to match the pace, I have this issue for ex. Tyre management can be unbelievably difficult to match the pace but ERS management is ok to do im talking about 1.2+ seconds gap with the delta.
Something they still need to fix is the campions edition dlc content pack - this is because I have received the 18,000 pit coin, the historic icons and the two safety Cars but yet still don’t have the cosmetic items such as helmet, race suit, gloves, furniture etc I believe this needs to fixed immediately
The biggest bug I've been getting since release which still isn't fixed after consulting the forums 5 tones is the game just crashing out of no where when I'm streaming - ITS SO ANNOYING!! I've tried many possible solutions and none of them work - updating graphics drivers, Windows updates, virus scans, re-installing the entire game and using a different storage device (SSD to HDD) and through all of that, nothing has made a single difference so please if anyone knows a fix or can actually physically get this issue known to codemasters in patch 1.09, please let me know!
I completed a career race the other day, finished 11th but as soon as I crossed the line the game had me finished 18th. No penalties or anything just a flat out, nope.
It's so much to improve in this game it's amazing that they focus on cosmetics and other bullshit there are bugs that were there since years still not fixed
They need to fix joining multiplier races because I have to load for like 5 minutes just to sit in the menu and the game not do anything. Then once I finally find a server that works, it'll make me spectate even if I joined before the session started. I have to set aside 30+ minutes just to play one 5 lap race.
It’s a problem in driver career too I’m on season 3 and it’s like 70-75 Ai we’re as in season 1 I was on 100 in a Williams and preforming as I should in that car. Move to Red Bull S2-S3 and it’s almost impossible to keep up with them
I found that even last game it got bad, like I obviously didn’t want to change the difficulty down from 100 because of my ego and that would mean qualifying in like 13th every single race BUT I WAS IN A REDBULL WHICH WAS THE FASTEST CAR ON THE GRID, but I was actually able to race through the field and get back up to like 3rd sometimes. But then I eventually moved it lower and it was better. But yeah on this game it seems way worse in terms of it’s almost like the upgrades don’t apply to you as well, like the AI always seem to have more grip and straight line speed no matter what, and that’s why racing in F2 was terrible since even tho all cars were supposed to be the same, I was always losing time on the straights even with the fastest default setup possible at like Baku. Game is terrible right now and until they completely fix it I’m just not gonna play it, haven’t played in over 2 weeks and it’s much better for my mental health with not raging every single time I play the game, as well as my ego 😂
I have two more problems with this game. 1. The ai have unaltered endless amounts of grip and tyre temps are broken for them. At Baku after me and checo both pit for hards mine were still at around 79 degree by turn 3 but his were already 87 in the perfect operating window giving him a huge advantage. Also at Spain in my career I was p2 to verstappen in p1 he was 5s up the road on the last lap and he spun in turn 1 and did a 720 spin but kept it on the road. However the problem is he kept going afterwards like nothing happened, I checked the replay and his tyres were perfectly at 92 degrees the whole time not moving an inch even after spinning badly. If he HD the same tyre physics as a player I could've overtaken him as he would've had no grip and could've won the race. That really annoyed me royaly
There is a tyre allocation bug in career that annoys me the most. You are forced to stick to 1 medium 1 hard for the race. That destroys strategy options in longer races (50% 100%) and is not matching reallife F1 rules. EA has to fix that.
Are you referring to GP or career races? For GP, I ended F1 2021 at about 105 for most races. When F1 22 launched, I was playing at 105-110, and was able to win still. Then patch 1.05 came out, and not only did I have to turn it down to 100-105, but then I started noticing the AI being incredibly fast on the straights. I feel like the handling model and AI were fine at launch. And that it was only after the first patch that all the issues started to become more noticeable.

Ever since the 1.08 update too my Audio glitches whenever trying to talk to the engineer. The Audio just bugs out and I can’t hear him but it goes back to normal when he’s done talking
We should be able to report dirty drivers in ranked Lobbies. It’s ranked and people take it seriously. If you’re gonna be dirty join a normal online lobby. I suggest that a player should get 3 strikes. At 3 strikes player should get suspended for an hour. If he gets 3 strikes again, 1 day, 1 week, and from then on, 1 month every 3 strikes but never perma ban. After all, they did pay for the game.
Next year we need a 4 day full game private beta with previous games handling then 2 separate 2 day open betas for everyone to test out the new handling 4 days with a few hundred dedicated players is more than enough to scope out any major issues with the game
I'm doing the Featured Event this week. Trying to overtake a Ferrari I to Turn 1 at Imola in the rain and no matter how much I am beside them going into the corner, they just keep turning in on me. Imola in the wet is hard enough, but having to reset because Leclerc keeps taking off my wing is so annoying. And I usually play at 105 AI, but even at 98 AI difficulty, I can't get this Featured Event done. The difficulty is so inconsistent.

Thank you mate, you pretty much covered my thoughts, I'm really thorough with these things, and what you said about consistency corner to corner, and what is humanly possible accordingly to esports drivers was spot on, because exactly that's the thing, if ai is fixed and I'm slower than the ai, then I'll know it's just me, not something phisically impossible in the game, something ai does that the player cannot replicate, and I'll be able to push and get better, but with all the current problems, we can't possibly know, also, game code between player and ai being different, we all already knew that was the case, but I mean WHYYYYYY??? What is their thought process to come to the conclusion that that's a brilliant and genius idea? With how the game is built, that kind of logic breaks everything else consenquentially
I got a question about F1 22 career mode if anyone can help please. If you switch teams in standard driver career mode, do you take with you and accumulated, unused resources points? Or you start again from zero with the new team you move to? I've got this frustrating situation with driver career with Williams where my R&D is locked, can't do any more upgrades until facilities upgrade, which I can't control in standard career, so I'm just sat there accumulating resources points (like nearly 10K of them now), with no way to use them. If it carries on will switch teams, but only if I can use them in the new team and don't reset to zero.
For me the Sound stuttering is a massive issue but the other one I and many other people have found is just how fast! The AI are on the last lap. I was 1.8 seconds ahead of my team mate at Barcelona going onto the last lap by the end end of the lap he was 0.3 behind me! Super ERS for AI
the problem with each track having a different "ai difficulty" is that we all drive differently and have our own strong and weak tracks, basing the difficulty off esport drivers wont fix anything as they too have strong and weak tracks
Unfortunately EA/Codemasters have put more effort into creating an IKEA simulator and they’ve taken their eye off the ball when it comes to actual on-track gameplay. The patches and AI issues have stopped me playing MyTeam/Career mode completely. Now I play just once a week for a league race. Portimao and China is a bit of an anticlimactic DLC. These were in last year’s game, and they’ve simply been removed just to give them back as DLC. Why not give us Istanbul, Sepang, Hockenheim, Qatar etc. in 2013 they gave us tracks that are not part of the F1 calendar such as Brands Hatch and Estoril. So why can’t they do that again? I’m also frustrated with the lack of car liveries and helmet designs. 80% of all the podium pass/daily items are floor tiles and Lamps…. 🙄 Does anyone really want this stuff??? It’s an F1 game!!! Why are we unlocking furniture?? 🤯🤯 Whoever came up with this new ‘feature’ needs to be handed their P45 now!
I was playing my team carrer mode with 16 races and i was a new comer. I was aplying upgrades and i was last at the end pf the season. How can i fix that??
It’s not you or your upgrade it’s just the AI settings. Just mess with the difficulty in until it matches where you are. Obviously you still do good or bad races depending on how you drive anyway
I was the still the bottom team in the progression chart going into season 2, by the middle of season 2 I was 3rd from bottom and 4th best at start of season 3. Just keep an eye out on those minor and major upgrade parts and save resource points last 4 races to save the parts from regulation changes
I have a problem, every time when i will start my team or a time trail (basically everything with a F1 car) when its going to load, after a few seconds Ego Dumper crash. BUT the WEIRDEST thing is, when i start a time trail with a F2 car, IT WORKS, so i tried to switch to a F1 car in the same session, and yes, it crashed, idk what to do to FIX it.
I just dont understand why there are not the tracks raced in rl in the game too, why are always the tracks not raced in rl in the game and the tracks raced in rl not in the game

The fact of the matter is they are charging $76 for the next-gen version of this game that comes out every year and when it comes out like this it's so ridiculous and disrespectful to the consumer. I'll stick with F1 2021 for the foreseeable. This game has been plagued with so many issues, a lot new and some that have been around for years. F1 23 needs to be a fresh start, built from the ground up for the next gen. The games have had severe issues, particularly in multiplayer since 2015 and it's clear they aren't going to be resolved. It's even more infuriating when patches fixed issues in 2021, only for them to reappear their ugly heads again in 22. The recent games have been frustrating compared to their earlier work and I've skipped several years because of it. Before 2014 I'd buy near release and enjoy the game during its launch period because it was a enjoyable product. Now all I see is dissatisfaction from people in the product and more questionable development decisions. Hence why I picked up 2021 after playing 2018 once the severe problems had been resolved and the game was aggressively on sale for £10.
We complain about Portimao not because of the track, but because we can't use it in the campaign. It's mostly useless.
Can we no longer do a custom season? I always take Monaco n sometime Singapore out as I just hate them.

I tend to save some ERS for the gear change delay. Usually on 7th for me so when I hit it I hit ERS n breeze into the next gear
I put manual shifting on the right stick left and right, I just shift up because sometimes it gets stuck for 5+ seconds.

It’d be likely referring to when content creators got the game early, we were the only ones who could even help find bugs at the time
ignore everything, devs have to check pit stops are glitch-free because it is just such a huge damage to competitive racing

When trying to overtake ai around the outside they try and dive so deep that they either lock up and t bone me or the car ahead
in f1 2021 i played with 96/98 difficulty

I found that even last game it got bad, like I obviously didn’t want to change the difficulty down from 100 because of my ego and that would mean qualifying in like 13th every single race BUT I WAS IN A REDBULL WHICH WAS THE FASTEST CAR ON THE GRID, but I was actually able to race through the field and get back up to like 3rd sometimes. But then I eventually moved it lower and it was better. But yeah on this game it seems way worse in terms of it’s almost like the upgrades don’t apply to you as well, like the AI always seem to have more grip and straight line speed no matter what, and that’s why racing in F2 was terrible since even tho all cars were supposed to be the same, I was always losing time on the straights even with the fastest default setup possible at like Baku. Game is terrible right now and until they completely fix it I’m just not gonna play it, haven’t played in over 2 weeks and it’s much better for my mental health with not raging every single time I play the game, as well as my ego 😂
I am an xbox controller player and the lack of traction coming out of corners is crazy even though i have traction control to full.

I have two more problems with this game. 1. The ai have unaltered endless amounts of grip and tyre temps are broken for them. At Baku after me and checo both pit for hards mine were still at around 79 degree by turn 3 but his were already 87 in the perfect operating window giving him a huge advantage. Also at Spain in my career I was p2 to verstappen in p1 he was 5s up the road on the last lap and he spun in turn 1 and did a 720 spin but kept it on the road. However the problem is he kept going afterwards like nothing happened, I checked the replay and his tyres were perfectly at 92 degrees the whole time not moving an inch even after spinning badly. If he HD the same tyre physics as a player I could've overtaken him as he would've had no grip and could've won the race. That really annoyed me royaly
There is a tyre allocation bug in career that annoys me the most. You are forced to stick to 1 medium 1 hard for the race. That destroys strategy options in longer races (50% 100%) and is not matching reallife F1 rules. EA has to fix that.

There is a mod that fixes the speed of ai for a lot. It is on racedepartment

Are you referring to GP or career races? For GP, I ended F1 2021 at about 105 for most races. When F1 22 launched, I was playing at 105-110, and was able to win still. Then patch 1.05 came out, and not only did I have to turn it down to 100-105, but then I started noticing the AI being incredibly fast on the straights.
I feel like the handling model and AI were fine at launch. And that it was only after the first patch that all the issues started to become more noticeable.

I’m coming to the end of season 1 in my career mode and the career performance index has changed around a good bit but I keep having to change my ai difficulty even tho my car is getting better
I've found anything above 70 is now just ridiculous on their pace
Ever since the 1.08 update too my Audio glitches whenever trying to talk to the engineer. The Audio just bugs out and I can’t hear him but it goes back to normal when he’s done talking
We should be able to report dirty drivers in ranked Lobbies. It’s ranked and people take it seriously. If you’re gonna be dirty join a normal online lobby. I suggest that a player should get 3 strikes. At 3 strikes player should get suspended for an hour. If he gets 3 strikes again, 1 day, 1 week, and from then on, 1 month every 3 strikes but never perma ban. After all, they did pay for the game.
Next year we need a 4 day full game private beta with previous games handling then 2 separate 2 day open betas for everyone to test out the new handling
4 days with a few hundred dedicated players is more than enough to scope out any major issues with the game
I'm doing the Featured Event this week. Trying to overtake a Ferrari I to Turn 1 at Imola in the rain and no matter how much I am beside them going into the corner, they just keep turning in on me. Imola in the wet is hard enough, but having to reset because Leclerc keeps taking off my wing is so annoying.
And I usually play at 105 AI, but even at 98 AI difficulty, I can't get this Featured Event done. The difficulty is so inconsistent.
My complain with the game is that if I start it in vr mode, it only works in the menu but when I sit in the car I every thing is black

Thank you mate, you pretty much covered my thoughts, I'm really thorough with these things, and what you said about consistency corner to corner, and what is humanly possible accordingly to esports drivers was spot on, because exactly that's the thing, if ai is fixed and I'm slower than the ai, then I'll know it's just me, not something phisically impossible in the game, something ai does that the player cannot replicate, and I'll be able to push and get better, but with all the current problems, we can't possibly know, also, game code between player and ai being different, we all already knew that was the case, but I mean WHYYYYYY??? What is their thought process to come to the conclusion that that's a brilliant and genius idea? With how the game is built, that kind of logic breaks everything else consenquentially

I got a question about F1 22 career mode if anyone can help please.
If you switch teams in standard driver career mode, do you take with you and accumulated, unused resources points? Or you start again from zero with the new team you move to?
I've got this frustrating situation with driver career with Williams where my R&D is locked, can't do any more upgrades until facilities upgrade, which I can't control in standard career, so I'm just sat there accumulating resources points (like nearly 10K of them now), with no way to use them. If it carries on will switch teams, but only if I can use them in the new team and don't reset to zero.
Audio for me in ps4 is choppy near other vehicle only when playing online. The start lights Audio has gone, just the lights counting down.

For me the Sound stuttering is a massive issue but the other one I and many other people have found is just how fast! The AI are on the last lap. I was 1.8 seconds ahead of my team mate at Barcelona going onto the last lap by the end end of the lap he was 0.3 behind me! Super ERS for AI

the problem with each track having a different "ai difficulty" is that we all drive differently and have our own strong and weak tracks, basing the difficulty off esport drivers wont fix anything as they too have strong and weak tracks

Unfortunately EA/Codemasters have put more effort into creating an IKEA simulator and they’ve taken their eye off the ball when it comes to actual on-track gameplay.
The patches and AI issues have stopped me playing MyTeam/Career mode completely.
Now I play just once a week for a league race.
Portimao and China is a bit of an anticlimactic DLC. These were in last year’s game, and they’ve simply been removed just to give them back as DLC. Why not give us Istanbul, Sepang, Hockenheim, Qatar etc. in 2013 they gave us tracks that are not part of the F1 calendar such as Brands Hatch and Estoril. So why can’t they do that again?
I’m also frustrated with the lack of car liveries and helmet designs. 80% of all the podium pass/daily items are floor tiles and Lamps…. 🙄 Does anyone really want this stuff???

It’s not you or your upgrade it’s just the AI settings. Just mess with the difficulty in until it matches where you are. Obviously you still do good or bad races depending on how you drive anyway
I was the still the bottom team in the progression chart going into season 2, by the middle of season 2 I was 3rd from bottom and 4th best at start of season 3.
Just keep an eye out on those minor and major upgrade parts and save resource points last 4 races to save the parts from regulation changes

I have a problem, every time when i will start my team or a time trail (basically everything with a F1 car) when its going to load, after a few seconds Ego Dumper crash. BUT the WEIRDEST thing is, when i start a time trail with a F2 car, IT WORKS, so i tried to switch to a F1 car in the same session, and yes, it crashed, idk what to do to FIX it.
For me it sounds like there’s a corrupted file somewhere among the ones relating to F1 cars in the game. I’d suggest redownloading the game

The fact of the matter is they are charging $76 for the next-gen version of this game that comes out every year and when it comes out like this it's so ridiculous and disrespectful to the consumer. I know you guys on Steam don't have to deal with this but it's absolutely ridiculous because I don't have a PC I have to overpay for games that aren't finished..
With the ai slider I race on 100 I struggle mainly at Bahrain but then in career mode you go to Saudi Arabia and I could easily beat them on 110

For me F1 22 is fine on 1.08, AI isn't too fast and all of the issues mentioned in this video have not yet affected me. Am I lucky? Maybe.
I'll stick with F1 2021 for the foreseeable. This game has been plagued with so many issues, a lot new and some that have been around for years. F1 23 needs to be a fresh start, built from the ground up for the next gen. The games have had severe issues, particularly in multiplayer since 2015 and it's clear they aren't going to be resolved. It's even more infuriating when patches fixed issues in 2021, only for them to reappear their ugly heads again in 22. The recent games have been frustrating compared to their earlier work and I've skipped several years because of it. Before 2014 I'd buy near release and enjoy the game during its launch period because it was a enjoyable product. Now all I see is dissatisfaction from people in the product and more questionable development decisions. Hence why I picked up 2021 after playing 2018 once the severe problems had been resolved and the game was aggressively on sale for £10.
