First: you are absolutely beautiful with no makeup! Seriously!!! I kinda like the original way you applied the makeup, it looks almost softer. The right looks more like it's going to look great in bright light and then start cracking and creasing. Either way, definitely cool! I'm not a makeup artist lol! I just have bags under my eyes too! I'm forever trying to hide them!
I'm older and I think I'll try the viral method! The other method of layering seems like it would be too much and cause crepe-y or wrinkly look from all the product pile up. Thanks for the video!!

I actually do this for my dark circles as well!! I do apply darker and lighter concealer together and it works like magic!! Haven’t tried blush with it!!

I've seen other videos, but they mostly used sponges. I appreciate you taking the time to show us how you blend properly. I prefer brushes to apply makeup. Now I feel confident enough to try it myself

yes on some but not this one. I used the same products on both sides, this one's more of a technique :)
Sadly that's true of almost any makeup. But this is genuinely a technique for those already using these concealers and blushes.
For me, I just don't bother with full face makeup anymore. Not having to buy foundation saved me a lot of time, money, and disappointment. I found a cheap BB cream with sunscreen that is good enough. When paired with a tiny bit of cheap concealer and powder, it'll last all day and only takes me five minutes to slap on my face with minimal discretion.
Don't get me wrong, makeup is entirely fueled by consumerism and capitalism, but I genuinely believe the makeup industry grew from a natural desire to line our eyes and play with painting our skin with various pigments. Don't buy into marketing and only spend what money you feel comfortable spending. Makeup is naturally fun.
Don't let the nihilism of modern capitalism steal all of your joy my friend.
Yeah, but then there are those of us who are smart enough to look at our make up drawers/bags to see if we have anything similar to these products before buying anything or just not doing it at all

I think it's because you let it sit first before blending. When you forst apply and blend the concealer hasn't set yet and extra is blended out. You let it sit and it already starts to set without it being diffused and blended out as much.

Love your techniques. This reminds me of color theory & portraits. Maybe the key is to get those best match cosmetics to your skin tone like you did. If you don't carefully match your skin tone with your makeup to begin with (e.g. warm colors on cool skin) I don't this technique works.

The thing is... YOUR DARK CIRCLES MAKE YOUR EYES BIGGER... so you don't have to correct all of it. Leave some of those dark circles slightly underneath your socket (where you apply kajal) and only apply concealer in completely unwanted areas.

Won't the lighter color directly applied to your dark circle (left eye) give you ashy/ grey look later on just as you said for your right eye?
I felt the ombre side was too bright until you put the powder on it. Then I felt both sides looked the same. It works either way.

I think this worked because you use a lighter shade concealer followed by a concealer which is true match to your skin tone. I'm not sure about this but you can again try this technique without using any blush, the next time. And then make a video on it

That was my theory, using red to conceal dark circles is a tried n true technique, but on the inner eye it didn’t look like you blended the lightest shade concealer as well as you normally do??
