it's fascinating that the generator from the original game was this behemoth of a lifeline furnace that you can't ever forget under any circumstances, but now in the sequel it looks so small and insignificant in the expanding city you might forget about it while handling politics and the citizen's needs yet more important than all of it

I love that you have the option to decide the "canon" route of frostpunk 1 and that even determines your starting factions when you start back in New London proper!
It is a pleasure seeing someone with the early release that knows how to pause. Saw someone fiddling around with their settings for 4+ in game weeks during the prologue. Really aggravating when people are working on a time limit and they don't do anything.

It's interesting if you slaughter the seals but kept the Elders alive, they will tell the Wanderers about Winterhome. Considering it's a broken dreadnought, are these Elders the Evacuees from Winterhome scenario?
Frostpunk balanced top-down city building with the struggles of a small group of survivors as you became a city. You could feel the weight of every decision. It really is fascinating looking at the increased scale. Like, that whole central district that New London starts with? I'm pretty sure that was the entire city map back in Frostpunk 1. What we're doing now is expanding the city infrastructure into what was the Frostlands that we sent Scouts into, while the new Frostlands expeditions are going much further.
