Saying it was a rush order isn't even a valid excuse. I used to make wedding dresses professionally. You NEED to know when you should refuse a job. It's a huge expense but aside from that, it's a very special day and you can't ever make up for it if you ruin it. Things happen, you need plenty of time to account for all eventualities.
Also as a seamstress, this is crap and was not worth the $10k+ no matter what. Gluing on the beading? I'm sorry, WHAT? You can't fix that! You need to EXPECT to change or modify ANY part of it. CLEARLY none of the beadwork was done by hand, just prefabricated and glued on with fingers crossed and you do NOT do that on a $10k dress.
The construction is so bad uggghh shameful. The last thing I'd do is tell on myself and just hope the bride wasn't going to show your embarrassing work to the entire Internet.

@@nannynatalieyeah it's psychotic. The only reason to do that is because you intend on an aggressive confrontation and I'm thankful she wasted her time. I think the bigger issue is that companies like Casze steal the photos they post as "their" products for their website and social media. Some of Casze's posts may legitimately be their own designs but many were taken from other designers' sites and random IG accounts.
Unfortunately, the only thing you can do about this is to be an informed customer. A legitimate designer will have consistency in their product photos - repeat models, staging, lighting, photographic style, etc. If in doubt, you can always do a reverse image search which should tell you if the photo came from somewhere else. If they're stealing photos, ordering from them is a big risk.

People were calling the hair salon she works at trying to get her fired because they saw a video on TikTok. People need to stop jumping the gun. Just because someone tells you a story does not mean it’s the truth. You should always hear both sides before making a decision on how you feel about a situation. I cannot believe how unhinged some people are. That designer knew what she was doing. She knew that this lady was currently getting married and that’s why she was not responding. She knew that people would believe her story more because the bride was unable to respond to the allegations or to any of the harassment. That designer is a terrible person.
Edit: I cannot come up with one good reason that you would ever have to justify wanting to ruin someone’s wedding day. Legitimate businesses that have a reputation to uphold would never do something like that “designer” did. That dress was horrific and should not have even been sent to the bride. The worst part is that the bride was still willing to come up with some kind of fair arrangement. She just didn’t want to carry on with any of this until her wedding was over. That crazy designer was threatening to come and physically take the dress back. That’s insane. That designer intentionally went on social media and made up a ton of lies. She wanted to ruin this woman’s wedding day. She was also trying to get this woman fired from her job as well!! The bride had already paid almost $4000 for a piece of crap. I am actually very glad that the designer came out on social media. She needed to be exposed. She does not know how to run a business. I also think she is the only thief in this debacle.

There were a couple other videos of some clients wearing dresses that don't fit well unfortunately (much like Raylee's fit for the top half). The models look ok, but most of the clients that don't have that model body shape had poor fits (or had glorified bedazzled bikinis/dress things, which is fine if that is what you want, but much easier to make fit). I suspect that she does corset ties in the back for those structured dresses because she struggles to fit curves on real clients. Its a crutch.

It's stressful enough to make sure all your stuff is ready to go before your wedding with local places. I can't imagine how stressful it would be trying to get your dress from the other side of country.
Always pick your dress out a full year in advance MINIMUM! This way you have no way of being stressed out that your dress isn't ready. Because dress places take months to make those things that you will use once.
This is sad and should have never had happened. Planning your wedding is one of the most stressful things you can do. Luckily for me I'm very detail oriented. So I had everything done months in advance. But even then, that last month is hell. Just trying to make sure everything will be perfect.

Don’t worry though, I got in contact with the pilot and he says you should be receiving it today. He didn’t sound too sure so I took that flight and stayed in the cargo hold to make sure there were no issues…but just in case I also decided to follow the pilot home and I’m standing over him right now while he sleeps so it’s definitely arriving tomorrow and that’s why you’re not seeing the tracking yet.”
It’s hilarious because the points of reassurance are also the same excuses of why it’s not shipped yet. No one takes customers to the shipping container yard- that’s preposterous. I have ADHD and I have used this type of “over the top” made up specific reassurances when I forgot to meet deadlines or procrastinated on extremely important tasks. Honestly, if we can take people to court for the slightest little details and everything is grounds for litigation, why not report the social media of a person who is, in essence, at the very least, false advertising? @@anotherhuman3221usually you apply spots of glue for each individual rhinestone (at least that’s what i’ve been doing the last 18 years), but if the dress was suddenly super stiff and hard to fit, i would assume she just put a bunch of glue all over the fabric and then stuck the stones into it, meaning it would dry as a large stiff mass rather than the gaps without glue allowing for more movement in the fabric

I think there’s a lot of scammers who work in the wedding industry. We had a terrible fiasco with my wedding caterer last summer. He showed up almost 2 hours into the wedding!!! He was supposed to be there preparing food hours before the ceremony began, and he purposely did it because he needed money and took another job far away before our event. Then he didn’t make half of what he said he would, never paid the bartenders he contracted, stole one of my parent’s big pots (wedding was in their backyard) and then accused my mom of defamation and continued to call her and yell at her when she asked for some of her money back.

As an actual fashion/costume designer, the dress is horrifically made. The E6000 is something I'm iffy on; there's a lot of arguments in circles with rhinestone applications about which is the better glue (e6000, b7000, gem tac, etc cetera) but the problem is not the type of glue that was used to affix the stones. Why is the *fit* like that? It is clearly not designed for her body; it's not designed to be supportive in her bust because it *seems* like Raylee has a smaller bust than the designer (who models it which is Yikes). The skirt's fit is atrocious; genuinely. It doesn't look like it was pressed before construction; the shaping is awful, it makes Raylee look squat and literally, LITERALLY is not flattering on the bride. Assuming the dress she bought for her wedding was off the rack, even *that* is more flattering on her. It is clearly designed with the designer's body in mind, which is why the fit is so different. Beyond the rest of the unprofessionalism, the craftsmanship of the dress is genuinely heartbreaking and I hope she sues her.

I am unsure if the video of the 'designer' wearing the dress is actually real, It looked like it fit her perfectly. So my first thought was that that specific video might be a dress by another designer which 'matched' the brides wishes and Casze tried to pass that off as her own creation. Wait… am I insane? I feel like I have lost it a little bit. She said that she received a text from the mother that said they didn’t think the dress was going to work and she replied with how she needed to get paid. The second text she received from the mother said that they needed the dress to be fixed and she replied with that she will only do so if they give her the money that they owe.
But then as she continues talking, she then said that they sent her a text stating that they had to take it to a seamstress and she then replied with “why didn’t you guys contact me and told me that there was something wrong with the dress!? You didn’t send me pictures, face time me, or anything. If you had told me it needed to be fixed, I could have been there in a minute to fix the dress!”
How did anyone listen to her. Even if she misspoke (which honestly you should never do if you are making accusations against anyone because it just seems like you’re lying), she told the mother she was not going to fix the dress *until* she received the rest of the payment.
And what’s this about being there in a hot minute? The bride and the dress maker were in separate states, right!? How could she be there in a minute to fix a dress!?
I really feel like if the people who had gone after the bridge and her family had actually listened to what that dress maker had said so far about the situation, they would have stopped to think about what she said.
But I mean… the story was already not making any sense since she sent the dress without being paid in full according to her own story.
Edit to Add: HOLD UP! She changed the story! She told her audience that the mother had told her, they ended up taking the dress to get fixed (thus the comment about why no one told her it needed to be fixed and how she would have done so) and now she’s saying that they denied to take it to get fixed. Which one is it, girl? Did they take the dress to get fixed or not!? Again I ask why did so many people believe the dress maker so readily? It’s obvious from the start she was leaving out massive amounts of detail because even the story she’s telling makes no sense.

The thing that really gets me about this whole situation is that the dressmaker is saying that she is willing to fly out to pick up the dress after not receiving her payment, yet she’s not willing to fly out to the client with the dress, do any alterations that might be necessary, and then fly back in order to make sure her client is happy. I just don’t understand why you’d be willing to lose money on a plane ticket just to get a dress back that no one wants when you could just lose money on a plane ticket, make sure your client is happy, and the dress is finished, get the bag that you deserve, and then fly home . Would’ve made more money that way.
