That was so cool, Don! I love 'space' related things. My uncle retired from NASA , Goddard in Maryland many years ago. His last assignment was working with the Hubble Telescope. Look at what that alone has changed! Thank you for sharing my friend. Blessings from Alabama ❤️
@@ThatOpalGuy Believe it or not, he had to go to Houston for all the launches of Apollo and is in some of the photos and TV videos. The only problem is that short hairstyles for men was all the same (well sort of 😁) and everything is black and white. Until he showed my dad which one he was, everybody was the same! Hee hee! But he loved it and trained many others to take his place so he could retire (they wouldn't let him). But he is retired now after helping to program Hubble. He told us that it would rewrite space science books; now look how that came to pass. He is the person left on my dad's side. Everyone has died from cancer.
These Ethiopian opals were from a parcel I won, last summer, on a different channel (who I no longer follow and won't name). I started cutting Australian opal, but these Welo opals are very good and have changed my mind about Ethiopian opal. I recently won a giveaway from CarlynsColorfulCreations. I recommend her channel as she cuts a lot of Ethiopian opal and does great work.
Very Nice Dude!
thanks
