  • On the last day of his Huginn mission, ESA astronaut Andreas Mogensen takes us on a tour of the place he called home for 6 months: the International Space Station. From the beautiful views of Cupola to the kitchen in Node 1 filled with food and friends and all the way to the science of Columbus, the Space Station is the work and living place for astronauts as they help push science forward.

If there's one thing that will remain, regardless of Earthly politics, is cooperation on the International Space Station.
      ISS is hope.

So incredible -- thank you for the tour! I can't imagine how thrilling it must be to work there. I often track the ISS on Stellarium. If the timing is right to get the sun's reflection on it just after dark, I can see it zipping overhead for a few seconds. It never fails to amaze me.

Somehow it is sad that the ISS is the only place near planet Earth where humanity works and lives together and no longer knows any borders. Only if humanity can do the same on Earth itself and abolish borders, countries, greed and money will the human life form be able to continue to develop and survive on planet Earth. Think about it, humanity. Thank you for the virtual tour. The sight of our blue sphere remains in my personal memory.

It starts to look a bit tight, but mostly like a place where is going to be difficult to don't touch something that shouldn't be touched. Must be difficult be living up there with such a lack of space inside the station.

How often does someone snag one of the dangling wires and cables that seem to be attached to nearly every surface? They appear to be nearly impossible to avoid, especially in the U.S. section.

Pozdrawiam was serdecznie małego pobytu.
