Stall warning on the NG requires that the AC x-fer buses powered for up to 4 minutes. The buttons tests its respective SMYDs, and #1 shakes Capt control column and #2 shakes FO control column.
Sim brief is free to use and you can use that to transfer data for this aircraft. The only reason you need to pay is to access airport charts which you can just look up for free online. Not sure if you were aware of this but definitely no complaints about using Navigraph or sim brief.
I use the free version of simbrief and I get the charts also for free from the online browser version of airmate and I've not run into any kind of trouble
I was in the same situation as you. But I just looked up simbrief on my phone browser, created a free account using apple, and sketched in a flight plan. Then just transfer it to the plane’s FMC using the tablet. It’s very easy
Before pushback, the A system hydraulic pumps switches should be off , B system hydraulic pumps switches on, after start and the tug driver is clear, you can turn on the A system pumps before taxi, the nose wheel steering works off of A system, could break tow bar or injure personnel
Nice approach and landing. I find the HUD more useful for night and/or imc approach landings. Your tutorial is useful, I always emphasize flying 10 minutes ahead of the A/C and five minutes as we get used to the checklist and workflow. No problem being ahead of the game once established, I'm pretty much a system manager until I disengage the AT then AP. Nice work !
The new EFB that PMDG put in, makes programming the FMS much easier. Just import from Simbrief and all the fields are filled in. But for "old school" fans, you can still program it manually.
According to «737NG Driver», on the 800 you must switch on the Voice Recorder (top right on the overheadpanel), before you start your preflight. It will automatically switch of, when you start the engines.
I found out something to help in flying into large airports...try taking off from those BIG airports and get the feel of landing and take off and ground operations.. then go in reverse and land and take off and learn the airport on the the ground. I compare it to going on your first date ...getingt to know the person you are going out with .. talk and let them know what kind of person you are..the when you go out it's not so daunting!! It works for me!!.. Great VIDEO!!!
Or simply do what's more realistic, looking at ground charts for the airport to know what exits you're expected to take to taxi through the aprons to your designated gate.
From what I read AC power has to be on for 4 minutes for the stall warning test to work. Most people perform their walk around while waiting. Hope this helps if it works
07:00 , that aircraft next to you should be a330 , cause of the winglet , or a a340-600 cause of the extra long fuselage ( minus two engines , lol ) or an a350-1000 with a not so perfect winglet , 787 has serrated back engines , you can’t mistake them , also have a shallower winglets , so to sum it up i have no idea for sure what is it , lol
This is by far the best flight tutorial on youtube. I litterly bought the aircraft all because how realistic and detailed this is. good work brother. Your earned a sub from me. 👍

PLEASE tell us at the beginning what airport you are in and going to. I have to get way into the video to find that out, then exit msfs and relocate, then setup my aircraft again. Other than that I love your tutorials. Thanks.
As a happy patreon myself, and someone who has given instructional presentations several times through the years in my field, these guides are extremely helpful. Especially when they are used in conjunction with videos like this one. As we are learning about the intricacies of these aircraft, having access to the guides allows me to Hear what is being said, See what is being done one the video while also having a hard copy to reference, and then Doing it myself in the sim as it progresses. These steps are the key to truly learning something, and by having all of that I find that absorbing the information is much easier. It may also be beneficial if the tutorial guides were available for direct purchase as opposed to having to be a patreon subscriber. Some may not want to subscribe to a monthly fee.
I believe your calculation for the landing flap setting is incorrect. Starting at 1:06:18, you should take the quantity of fuel at that time, near ROLLS waypoint with 11.4 or 11400 pounds of fuel subtract this amount from the quantity expected at arrival 7.9 or 7900 pounds, which equals 3500 pounds. This value (3500) is the amount of fuel you will use until landing, so the landing gross weight should be the current gross weight at this moment 147000 minus 3500, or 143500 pounds and then choose your flap setting. Subtracting 11000 like you did, it's like landing with almost no fuel since it's the quantity that you will have at T/D, you won't spend that much till landing. In summary, your landing grossweight is the GW at the time you look at it, minus the fuel you will spend until landing.
you do not turn on anticollision lights until you are ready to start engines, they are turned on just before engine start and shut off just after engine shutdown.
Multiple brakes in flight plan you should go over mfc more carefully and explain more, I ran out of space to put more routes in and there’s gaps everywhere
Is this plane from PMDG will be actually released to MFS marketplace !?!?!? I hope one day to see it there , because i can actually buy it only with steam wallet cards trought steam and later ingame marketplace!!!
Well, mine is parked at end of runway with everything running. How do I start cold and dark at the gate? My left throttle moves both throttles. I can't find a tab anywhere that says calibrate flight controls. My Thrustmaster Boeing yoke is named but greyed out. So, it's not supported?? How do I skip the credits at the beginning? How do I prevent the flight controls lighting up when I touch them with mouse? I know how to fly the 737.
51:30 how are you controlling your rate of ascent? I see it seems to be somewhere between 3000-3500 feet per minute but I don't see how that is being dictated..
