I didn't know about Howl! Thanks foofoo, you gave me a reason to use Thievul :) A lot of mediocre mons in singles get some cool doubles moves, I'm starting to realise that
I'd love to see Terrain and Weather combos. - The Arcanine making the weather Sun while Grassy Terrain was active gave me the idea that Solar Blade or Solar Beam could have no charge turn and a 30% damage increase. - There's also Thunder in the Rain with Electric Terrain for 100% accurate, 30% stronger Thunders. - Swagger and Flatter could be really interesting with Misty Terrain. Another combo submitted to Aaron Cybertron used Galarian Weezing's Neutralising Gas to cancel out Golisopod's Emergency Exit. It also delayed Terrain ability's and Intimidate from activating until Weezing left the field. These are some sick combos to try out!
Leo Murray back in USUM I had a Tapu Fini + Eviolite Type Null lead where I used Misty Terrain this way! :D I opened with Swagger at my Null and it did a Swords Dance for a +4 atk right out the gate

Thievul looks like it could help slow physical attackers quite a bit with howl, but I'm not sure what other one use item it could hold for unburden so it out speeds to howl for the slow boi. Maybe a berry that boosts a stat?
Nickit was one of those Pokes that I immediately wanted on my team but as soon as I saw Thievul that all went away. Something about the design was just......off and then I saw the stats which made me want to use it even less.
