- Today I introduce you to the 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser. I also give a brief history of the Land Cruiser and then take a tour of mine inside and out. It is an amazing piece of machinery and I hope you appreciate it as much as I do.

Well this late night (technically early morning) has really given me a good shock. I know for a fact you won’t remember me, but years upon years ago I remember finding you as you were in the early stages of your channel and we discussed the differences and semantics between Inaudible and unintelligible whispering. We lost a house around that time due to a creek flooding during a storm and you really helped me through some quite unhealthy nights.
I hate I’ve missed so much of your growth but I’m so happy to see you still posting and talking with so many of us and sharing your life, knowledge and natural talent for ASMR! I look forward to catching up, I hope you’ve been well and rewarded for your hard work! Much love and support from down south in Alabama!
Glad I popped back up on the radar. I've taken a few breaks along the way but just kept coming back to making videos and it certainly has been an interesting journey. I'm 5 years in now and I've had to work harder than most to grow this channel but that is the story of my life so I have just accepted this as part of what I have to do to make this work. Hope you're doing well and things have improved for you as well!
You should do a video called “Meet my Animals” where you do segments on each animal and their personality(just an idea).
Big fan of the channel, as a young man still struggling to figure out life I really find solitude in the advice you give in all your vids.
Great video idea! Ps I don't think any of us truly figure out life, sounds cliche but really just do what makes you happy and not what other people want you to do :)

I love the car videos on the channel all of a sudden. I love the 80 series Land Cruiser. And the one you have is really nice with the lift kit

@@ASMRRealityyou should do one on the Venza just for some content. Also $500 oil change for BMW idk where that’s coming from haha. Maybe brand new ones? Oil change costs around $120 with liqui moly oil and filter. Still doesn’t beat Japanese prices though
@@MrCrow2014 Maybe thats you doing it yourself. The BMW dealer here charges crazy amount to do it.

Have you thought about doing a snow removal video in the winter? I think that would be quite relaxing, similar to your cleaning video when you removed the leaves from your barn gutter

Had a few complaints about the snoring but always smile when someone tells me they like it! I only try to stop them when it gets crazy loud:)

mate that’s just fantastic! best suv you can get for both luxury and performance. Here in Australia they sell quite a lot, pretty much anyone who’s got enough money go straight for these because they’re just the best. Also there’s the more off-road version of the land cruiser called Prado which is a beast as well! Not sure if you get those in the US
It's funny but every time I get in this, I think about Australia because I know how popular they are there. Great minds think alike!

The new Land Cruiser is nothing like the previous models. I’m 6’8 340 and can fit in every model except the new ones. The FJ comparison is spot on. It felt even smaller than the 4 Runner
Lovely car. Looks phenomenal. Recently financed a 2014 Dodge Journey RT and while its no land cruiser in quality per say, its still a really nice "new" vehicle that fit in my familys budget for a "new" family vehicle. I absolutely love the vehicle and plan to get plenty miles for at least a few years now. Hoping to get the Big brother RT Durango down the line once we do upgrade again. Love the Toyota!. My neighbor has a 2021 Tacoma I believe. Cheers!
I'm a fan of the Durango...they make some super fast versions of it...I think they even make a version with the HELLCAT motor in it.
My dream is a Toyota 4Runner 🥰 that fridge in there would have me SOLD
The fridge is hard to beat but it makes driving my other cars disappointing :)

as a car fan i love the V8 landcruisers theyre so cool
Nice. In South Africa we get the 76, 79, 300 and the Prado (the one you said should be an FJ). The LX is basically a more luxurious 300 (makes sense since Lexus-Toyota). We dont get the 4Runner and Tacoma though, we get the Fortuner and Hilux.
It's so interesting to me how different countries get different versions. Thanks for sharing!
I just wanted to comment because you remind me a lot of my father that passed away. He was only 55 and was a very successful immigration lawyer. He too would share a lot of his personal advice and wisdom as you also do. When he passed he left me with a million dollars in life insurance 200k cash and 2 houses. When I turned 18 I was able to Airbnb one of the homes but I’m still stuck as what to take as the next step and just wanted to ask for your insight. Thank you love the videos!

2:23 interesting because I always thought it was just a continuation of the Land Cruiser Prado. Which I found odd because since they rebooted the 4runner, I feel those two vehicles occupy practically the same segment. Also wondering if you have any thoughts on the rebooted Land Cruiser 70? And it would be great to see a video on the Venza :)
I don't understand the decision on Toyota's part. They should call it Prado here too.

R8 are nice, drove the v8 gen1 round A track. And my dad has a tuned mk2 Audi TTRS which is pretty quick. Also I’m interested how much r8 cost over there cos in the uk you can pick up a v8 gen 1 for £30k and a gen 2 v10 for about £55-60k

The Tahoe you could’ve gotten a Z71 package on for all of the stuff you did. Interesting that’s what you would’ve gotten instead.
I'm preparing a video that compares cars and Tahoe versus LandCruiser is one of them. They cost the same new but 5 years later, the Land Cruiser is worth $30k more. That is a big factor in why I chose it.
@@ASMRReality I’m a Tahoe person until I die so it’s fun to hear and see videos comparing them. I also though live about 30 minutes north of Minneapolis so that plays into it also.
@@donnyheinze All good, my friend. I had a Tahoe in 96. I was a fan for a long time until I went to work for Toyota and drank the Kool Aid. I worked for GM stores before working for Toyota...took the job for Toyota and was driving a 98 S-10 ZR2 the day I started.
@@ASMRReality S-10’s are mean. Too young to enjoy them not at car shows but a pleasure when I get to see them.
@@donnyheinze Not sure if you ever saw the S-10 Cyclone. It was amazing. They also made a Typhoon that was the GMC Jimmy version of it. Cool cars for sure.

How did you motivate yourself when you were younger? You talk about how you started off poor and worked your ass off, how did you get the motivation to do that? Great channel btw
I think I just accepted early on that if it was going to happen, I was going to have to get busy. I somehow understood how far behind I was and I could literally see what my life was going to be like if I stayed poor. I think I realized I had nothing to lose by going for it. Early on I don't think I was certain it would work but I knew I had to at least try. I got mad at the world and just started fighting my way out and just got more and more determined as I slowly started to see progress. I know it seems nearly impossible but I slowly but surely, inch by inch, you see progress and you use that to build more and more hope that it actually is possible. You just have to start...momentum will build. Its the law of inertia.

I got 2016 Maserati grand turismo mc sport with only 13,000 miles and yeah half later 19,000 the first time I took it in to get maintenance they mechanic said “you baby this thing huh”? I was like yeah I barely drive it to keep miles low and walk to work lol…

My bosses father in law has a 80s series, 4.5 litre diesel Land Cruiser amazon. Because we are in Britain 99.9 percent of the time it’s the largest car on the road 🤣
Toyota never imported the diesel LC to America but I have seen one that a military guy had imported here. If you pulled into a Toyota store with one of those here, everyone would flock to it!

Why did you get light truck tires on it? It definitely would ride better without LT tires.

You can get the same tire just a different build, LT is a 10 ply and a standard tire is a 8 ply. It would ride better without an LT tire is what i meant. @ASMRReality

Yaa the new Land Cruisers are small almost comparable to a bronco. If you want BIG these days with Toyota, might as well get a sequoia.

No...I'm just not a fan of it and think the 4 cylinder motor is going to have to work way to hard to pull that thing around and worry about the long term reliability of it.
@@ASMRReality well i drove it cause i work at toyota and the 4 cyl make it feel like a car its a smooth ride compared to a 4 runner, we never got any other land cruiser in canada so i cant compare it to the older models
@@SkurrrBango Yeah I figured it would drive more car like. I like the more rugged feel of the older ones but I know most consumers probably like the car like ride better so that is why Toyota went that direction with it.
