ive been looking for this movie for the past 13 years because i used to love this movie as a kid but we lost the dvd and no one could remember the name and im so happy after searching for the name for OVER A DAMN DECADE i found the movie

This trailer blew my mind when I was a kid. Brings back such happy memories. Fuck I miss being young, life was so simple back then and I could actually get REALLY excited. Everything just feels grey in comparison these days.

I think our species just absorbs the culture and media from when we were young and gets attached to it as "the best". That's why you get so many people in their 50s-60s who hated the music from when our generation was young and only liked bands like the Beatles, the Stones, or Sabbath, or whoever. It's all subjective in the end.
Blind Mown; that's very likely true. And I agree there IS some good modern music. I even like some classic rock from my parents' time. Never could get into the Beatles though. However r&b and hip hop were around in my youth and I never cared for them then and it just seems like that's all the radio plays in my area anymore. I've gotta get together a playlist of mp3s to feed into the stereo line input when I carpool. 'Til then I suffer to 40 crap. I think it's all bc of satellite radio, 3g music apps, hi capacity data storage for mp3s, and an even dumber class of music buyers.
I feel the same way, I was so for this movie and what the twenty-first century had in store for me but I was mistaken. RIP early twenty-first century and hope the rest of this century has something to look forward to.

Titan AE had a terrible marketing campaign. It seemed like (and I said this at the time too, back when I was a teenager with this new film on dvd) the marketing just kept shooting for the wrong audiences. It's no masterpiece, but it's one of my absolute favorite Don Bluth films.
I remember back in the olden days, when CGI animation was still in its fledgeling stage, and the movie was mostly 2D characters on a painted background. Nostalgia hits like a brick wrapped in a lead glove, and it feels so good!
Am I the only one who thinks the main characters are like the future versions of Dimitri and Anastasia? they look very similar!!! just the hair is different.

Wow... I love this so much. Makes me real emotional. I don't know what the judgment is about but to me it embodies all the themes from the late 90s to the early 00s. it just brings back so many good memories from that Era. And it's not only nostalgic reasons. I recovered many of my childhood movies recently and I still love them the same. If you purposefully dig then of course you probably not going to like it as much, like finding out how a magic trick is done, but if you watch it for what it is, you'll love it. Those times were so simple and beautiful. Makes me so sad..

This trailer gives me unexplainable "everything is alright" vibe. The visuals of the humans leaving earth is sad but it makes me feel like everything's alright because of the upbeat somber rock music

The way it's animated kinda looks like movies such as the Tresure Planet, Sinbad Legend of the seven seas, Atlantis a lost empire and The road to El Dorado. There is something about this animation that's just so identical. i don't know what it is, but it makes the movies look extremly good anyway. Just a shame that so many of these kinda movies went horribly much in minus when it comes to the budget and income.
I said to some of the girls I hung out, "If you loved Anastasia, check this out. Cale is Anastasia, and Dimitri's decendent." I mean he might as well be, Bluth's except Rock-a-doodle might as well be in the same univers.
When Fox animation (Don Bluth) closed, i think some of the animators moved to Dreamworks, that is probably why some of the style in the humans might be similar. Fox pulled the plug of this studio in the middle of production. The reason might be that the costs went overboard, but also Disney’s box office revenue started to decline after The Lion King, and the other studios that were dabbling on animation got cold feet after those news.

Isn't it crazy how many people are commenting that they have found this movie again after a long time? It's the same for me, i just had vague memories of it and found it by searching the first one hundred best space movies on moviepilot. Luckily it was number 95 because i probably wouldn't have continued searching after 100... But why is especially this movie sought after? It’s those movies I’ve heard forever and wanted to see it, regardless if it’s good or bad. Finally saw it. Has a better potential as a series. The universe they created is vast to explore and have relationship grow. While the animation and CGI is outdated so to speak. I think it’s those film of its time that tried to push it and I appreciate. I feel like it could be remade as an animated series.

The creativity and passion here sent shivers down my spine. Feels like a relic from an age of rampant creativity that will nevef come back.

I first saw this trailer on the VHS of X-MEN and I've loved that Creed song (Higher) since~!

It’s those movies I’ve heard forever and wanted to see it, regardless if it’s good or bad. Finally saw it. Has a better potential as a series. The universe they created is vast to explore and have relationship grow. While the animation and CGI is outdated so to speak. I think it’s those film of its time that tried to push it and I appreciate. I feel like it could be remade as an animated series.
