Having spent a 22.5 year career in the Air Force, I had a one year assignment in Sicily. Unfortunately, it was a “remote” tour so my family was unable to experience the Sicilian Adventure. Your “street food” episodes reminded me of all the great cuisine I experienced during that time. The trattorias were fantastic, but getting a bite at a sidewalk cafe and getting the vino at a local winery is how I best enjoyed the culture. By the way I very much enjoyed your lobstering adventure. Our Cliff House vacation is coming soon. Stay safe and happy travels.
Thanks for dedicating all those years to the AF, Paul… one helluva career! It is too bad that your family couldn’t join you in Sicily but that sounds like an incredible experience regardless. Wow guys you are doing really well. I always loved watching your videos/channel so much. Your children are so lucky they are traveling with you and the same time learning about cultures from different countries too and it's great..
If you’re still in the Philippines and have the chance, I think it’s worth trying out Antonio’s in Tagaytay, about 2 hours south of Manila. It’s one of the top rated restos in the country and the location is exquisite. You need to reserve for dinner sitting and some of their signature dishes need to be ordered in advance, like even 48 hours prior. But I believe the experience is worth it.
Thanks for the recommendation. We have so much to return to the Philippines for. We're inspired to go back now that we've been there and we have so many more recommendations.

Stumbled unto your channel as we prepare for our trip to Barcelona in a couple of weeks and have enjoyed your content. Great tips on leveraging airline and credit card perks and benefits. Amex will be doing away with free Centurion guest passes next year; do you think its worth getting kids as additional card holders?
That's a great question! We actually are in the process of switching to the United Club card so we can have United lounge access. As much as we love Centurion, we wouldn't pay more for the lounge access knowing we could utilize a United option. Plus, the card will help us accrue more United miles and PQPs, which lead to upgrades for international flights. So I think it would depend on if you're loyal to an airline that has lounges as well and what benefits they can give you. With all that said, Centurion lounge has been consistently the best lounges we've experienced.
Hello, can you tell me the name of the bottle of wine you love from Italy? I would love to buy one for my dad to try but I couldn’t quite catch the Italian name of it in your video. Thank you!!

How do you guys structure schooling with the young ones? We are a family that loves to travel at least 3 months of the year but not sure what were going to do when kids start grade school right away.
Our oldest daughter actually does in-person high school in Colorado, but Brooklyn and Colt are both in a good online school program that allows them to do almost all of their lessons whenever they want. so it works around our schedule, which is great.

husband speaking - this was a great 25 min. show. I admire Colton grabbing the lobster - My first trip to Manila, 1978 - my wife's brother took us out to dinner. There I am watching the entertainment, my wife and her family busy talking their language, and finally out come these wooden bowls with huge prawns. - unshelled - YOU WANT ME to touch that many legged gross thing? Then, my wife's family is very important in Mandaue, not famous, but clan wise, important. Many of her friends want us to come to their home for dinner. One place had a huge round table, several maids serving dinner, and this big fish on a platter in the center of the table. At dinner's end, one of the maids said, No one touched the fish ??. My wife said everyone was waiting for " ME " to take the first bite. Sorry, but for me, food must stay down and I am not going to eat what I don't like. I'm not afraid to mention what I will not eat. Raw beef yes, anything from inside an animal, no. liver, heart, etc. that's for the garden.
