Paul, please change the title of this video so people who search for instructions on manometer installation could find it easily. I'm not the only one who has trouble to find it. BTW, I'm really happy with my Robot and I'm happier now that I have manometer installed in it. ;)
I just got my lovely Cafelat Robot. I have never used a manual lever machine before and I have been using the Robot now for just a few days. One thing I can't seem to get the hang of yet: I can not pull an even, consistent shot of espresso without channeling or spraying. My coffee always tastes bitter too. I am doing something wrong.
All is related to coffee beans and especially grind size. Depends where they are from. Supermarket? Local coffee roasters? Who did the grinding. Try to vary the grind size. Worked for me. Needed a real fine espresso size. Too fine and the water takes too long to pass. Too coarse and the water goes through too fast.
Unfortunately the metal sleeve design is flawed as it got trapped against the robot body. This has squeezed the plastic tube completely and removed it from the piston chamber. A slick or smooth sleeve design would be better to avoid getting caught. Now I removed it. It works but doesn't look as good as with the metal sleeve.
What type of tube using.? As I see it ..wasn't silicone tube.if it's polyurethane...it will give u trouble in time.it will crack ! I will change the tube and lever mounting to the tube.use swivel fitting.
@@janmejaymahapatra5163 agar physical kaam karna pasand hai to you can buy otherwise I'll suggest semi-automatic. A good semi-automatic will cost around 60k. One more thing Making espresso is very easy but agar kuch aur karna hai like latte ya cappuccino then it takes time because tumko fir milk steam karna padega
