Looks like med 2 dark roast. There is no standard about which roast level is suitable for espresso. It's depend on what kind of bean it is, and how dense it is. For arabica bean, the density is around 360 - 380 gr/l. That's the number that you have to find when you roast your bean, and notice in what roast level that number. If you get more than that number, e.c 390gr/l, your espresso could be taste more acidity. That's just the basic thing on roasting to get level roasting that suitable for your coffee.
nothing wrong with dark roast. i don't think it would taste good 1:2 though. but still, how would you know what tastes good or not if you just subject yourself to just one roast? seems like a limited way of thinking.
One of the best and dirtiest workflows I ever seen 😁
How much water did you use and how did the espresso taste and what was the mouthfeel?
How fine do you grind on that grinder?
But does the coffee taste good I'm still looking for a good coffee being to make a good cup out of my
