    Reminds me of pre-bankruptcy GM. Remember "an American revolution" ...

    Four wheel drive in a 1.4 turbo engine is probably one of the better deals at $20,000 discounted on AutoTrader.

    Looks like a jack up last, LAST get Malibu. You can get more for the same money. Wait for the HR-V, pricing should be released on 4/30/15. I expect the CX-3 to get expensive with options.

      Cx3 isn't really that expensive compared to this but the features list blows the trax away.

    Come on GM, this is just lazy. The CX-3 embarrasses everything about the Trax.

      CX 3 is a fucking nice design. It beats Honda and GM.

    Shifting into drive while the vehicle is still in reverse during the 2:28 mark. Ouch. I know it's not your car but still.

    The Trax is a poor man's Buick Encore. I agree with your assessment with the interior. It looks like a Subaru XV Crosstrek on the inside. Question is -- (pun intended) Will Chevy make tracks with the Trax?

    Although I prefer the CX-3 over this, great review!

      CX3 beats all of them. Honda, Toyota GM, ALL OF THEM.

    Why does GM put the gas tank on the passenger side of most of its cars...I absolutely hate that

    If I got this car I would take a Sharpie and black-out the Chevy badge on the steering wheel and I'm not even joking

    Kinda reminds me of pre-bankrupt GM then again it might because it's a brand new crossover from Chevy they didn't wanna do to much to it. If it does well they'll give a trax a nicer overall if it does poor they'll just kill. One thing is for sure it will be interesting see how the trax stacks up

    Remember folks this is a DAEWOO product, just a few yrs back, they were building really crappy cars.

    I use to be a huge Chevy fan but there is one reason why I switched. Other auto makers are wanting to give you more for your money and the trax is just another are Chevy is falling short in that category.

    • @bmw803
      @bmw803 5 років тому

      Got to agree there. That basic TRAX is BASIC. No AC. Come on. Design wise, it's ok, not that bad, but the way GM packages their options is ridiculous. A basic Ford ECOSPORT has more than this thing.

    the sub compact suvs should be renamed to what they really are, tall hatchback

    Overpriced,cheap feeling and less than stellar mileage is a no-no in my book, I would wait for the HR-V instead of this. After all the Fit is better than the Sonic.

    • @bmw803
      @bmw803 5 років тому

      The HR-V is pretty much the same. Basic and economy material inside. Overpriced? Sure, that thing should be 15K. Not more. !!!

    Do I detect 'RENTAL CAR!' subtexts here?

    • @bmw803
      @bmw803 5 років тому

      Bro, it's an economy vehicle for someone that wants to get from A to B without spending too much money on a vehicle. Want a luxury? Buy an escalade or an Audi Q7.

    I just bought the 2019 last week and it’s not that great. You can feel every bump in the road. It’s definitely small every which way you look at it , inside and out. I feel this is the lowest class vehicle I
    Have ever bought. I definitely made the wrong decision.😞

    nothing new about that SUV Steven .. that is the usual American business bring it design it .. patch it .. price it .. throw it in show rooms .. sale it !!!! no consideration to quality what so ever in time where Auto makers do their best to provide the best for less money at the bottom of the list GM didn't get it yet .. unless paying $36K and still not all that good ...

    • @bmw803
      @bmw803 5 років тому

      This is not even an American design in the first place. It's South Korean. Just like KIA, they were both embarrassments. The difference is that KIA got their shit together. Ford did the same. The TRAX isn't that bad looking, but for the interior materials and "economy" category, that car should be priced at $15K max.

  • @RoyalAbundance
    @RoyalAbundance 9 років тому +2

    The vehicle is hideous, cheap quality, and clearly an afterthought. Chevy just needed a placeholder in the category. The 25K price is insulting.

      J Lew The Mazda 3 looks at least 20k more expensive than this, yet they compete in the same category. Chevy needs to step it up.

    What an ugly looking car.

  • @TekTrekgamer
    @TekTrekgamer 9 років тому

    This is honestly one of the ugliest cars I have ever seen. It looks cheap and clunky and boring. Like a washing machine. The price tag should be 17995 to move them otherwise this car won't be making any TRAX in the United States. Maybe the rental companies will snap them up. Yuck

    • @bmw803
      @bmw803 5 років тому

      The design isn't that bad, but the price is definitely too high on that. That thing should be priced at $15K max. Corollas aren't much better when it comes to design and styling either.

  • @dygardion9130
    @dygardion9130 8 років тому

    Oh yea, it also looks extremely cheap
