The Amp IS a tube amp - it's not an "amp simulator". The only thing simulated is the cab and speaker in the XLR, if activated. The power amp is solid state to keep it small, but it has a tube preamp. Sorry, but calling it an amp simulation just kept annoying me :)

It doesn’t really vary in sound too much from what it is. It sounds like tube already, especially if you’re running a cab.
