Fields of Mistria is fantastic! It is a farm sim but with some dungeon crawling and a magic system. I just got it and am addicted
i've enjoyed Hades so much back in the day, has to be my favourite roguelike game aswell.
its really good - strongly considered diving into the beta of Hades 2 when it was announced.
I have many favorite roguelike games, but I would recommend Tales of Maj'Eyal and Inkbound. They have a great play feel.
man, i had to look up both of these, they look really interesting! i'll try (or Daniel will try) to give one of them a go!
My favourite roguelike game is Curse of the Dead Gods, I like how it is set and its difficulty, though but doesn't feel impossible. I liked the feeling of progression, how well I did after so many deaths felt so good.
i had to look this one up, the advancement of the advancement of the game looks really interesting!
Hi guys, it's been so long since last episode! Have to say, didn't know about Polly Pocket so after I've checked it out can tell 100% Andrew was very accurate referencing them with that game lol. About the question I personally have a lot of fun playing Risk of Rain with a friend some time ago, I think it's a very very good roguelike game, and it's very different from its sequel which I think it's more popular. Also would like to mention Darkest Dungeon, Hades, Slay The Spire and Dead Cells, those are my top roguelike games atm.
man, the models in that game are EXACTLY like Polly Poket lol. and i really didn't know Risk of Rain was a rouge-like, i always thought the art style looked great!
In my opinion Spelunky is the best roguelike game ever, I enjoyed playing it so much!
my kids LOVE Spelunky! we're about to pick up Spelunky 2.
IMO Steam World Dig 2 has one of the nuttiest and most fun final bosses ever. Loved the game and hope a new one will finally come out soon (I have no interest in all the spin-offs, personally).
Steam World Dig 2 is for real one of the best Metroidvania's i've ever played. i tried real hard to get into the spin-offs (none of them stuck) so i have my fingers crossed for a Steam World Dig 3 in the future!
