Hi guys, good episode! Have to say I'm very related to what Andrew talked about his feeling on the Sonic games, me personally don't feel their devs really know what they wanted with this franchise and is truly dissapointing, I do enjoy their 2D games, played and have a blast with those on the old Sega console, tried their first tries on 3D back in the day and tbh was so bored that just dumped them to never played them again. But have to be fair, I didn't play any of their last releases but one kart racing which I really enjoyed but don't think this counts as the main problem here, 3D arcade games which are not appealing for me. About Tacoma, I didn't have the chance to play it yet cause being a bit busy and when I have some free time just play something that I'm already into, but definitely seems a game very interesting to play, and Daniel always on point highlightning the strengths makes me wanna jump into the game right away, a game with a good story to tell and intriguing as this one seems to be a good choice for some hours of fun.
i've played Tacoma and is a wonderful game, fantastic work from the voice actors with a powerful story. i've did play Sonic Frontiers aswell, was on a friend's house a while ago, didn't feel was a bad game at all, but maybe didn't play too much time because it was for a very short period of time, either doesn't feel it was super good but was okay i guess.
I don't have the Tacoma game but since you mention it I'll give it a chance and buy it. Didn't play Sonic games too much either, have tried Sonic Mania and had fun with it, never played Sonic Frontiers so don't know if I'd enjoy it or no.
I have never played the game TACOMA, although I know the name. Sonic has a lot of memories of Sonic Adventure 2, but as a game it was certainly not as pleasant to play as other games. However, I liked the game because it had many attractive elements such as BGM and Chao.😉
I didn't play Tacoma yet because I didn't have time because of school, but it's a game I really want to play. As for Sonic, I'm not a fan of the franchise, neither 2d or 3d games because it kinda feel boring to me, don't like platformers not my type of game.

i just think with Sonic games and the way they are designed, its hard to find a middle ground on them - you'll either love it or hate it.

Chao garden rules and is it’s one redeeming quality lol.

yeah, i think regardless of the 2D or 3D style, if you're not into platformers you're not gonna click with Sonic lol.
