He also has several flatbread videos, some of them with flours that are not nuts or grains. Plus, he's closer to you and probably understands better what will satisfy you. I hope that helps.

The research shows there are 8 triggers for psoriasis: alcohol, smoking, inflammatory diet, stress, fatty liver disease and excess weight and viral activity. I spent 11 years trying to figure out how to clear/cure/get rid of my psoriasis. Not knowing what the research says on how to effectively treat psoriasis naturally. So I made a video called "How to treat psoriasis according to science - How I cleared my psoriasis". You can click on "align and inspire" (my channel name) to see it. I have been clear (no symptoms) for 4 years now. Love to my psoriasis family.

After inquiring found out he had a fun summer of eating a bunch of snack cakes and drinking dark sodas all day every day. Hard to keep him from scratching. Went out and bought all the lotions and soaps to bathe in but in the back of my mind I figured it had more to do with his eating. Thank you!!

Well as I said it was a by product of wanting to get rid of inflammation and clear out adrenals. I've had it since I was 11yrs old. All over my scalp and smaller patches on my face. I'm 49 now. I went strict keto and took 250,000 iu of serrapeptase on an empty stomach each night and a swig of olive leaf extract in the morning after brush teeth and voila! It was a friend who noticed first that I wasn't scratching all the time. And I suddenly checked all over and it was all gone. I'd been so focused on my other concerns I'd just not noticed. It's been 2 years now I've been completely clear. But if I have carbs or sweets it starts to come back. The serrapetase and olive leaf I do notice keeps it not as inflamed and tolerable but it's the sugars from foods that kicks it off. So I'm pretty strict.

Oil oxidizes with the air in the bottle and when poured onto a cooking surface & heated, it oxidizes within minutes. When you introduce an oxidized substance into the body, you create inflammation. Inflammation low levels of low-grade constant inflammation accumulate and it’s only a matter of time before something “breaks”. When you fry food, this process is accelerated remarkably. Oil heated in a fryolator creates a molecule in a food which is fried called acrylamide which is carcinogenic.

#8 should be BLACK MOLD. I suffered with hardcore psoriasis for 6 years and tried everything my doctors could think of. I almost went insane. Then I started remodeling my bathroom and found a lot of black mold behind my shower walls. I had it all professionally removed and all my symptoms disappeared in a week. Black mold poisoning is only occasionally mentioned in psoriasis literature so even doctors tend to forget/overlook it. If nothing’s working for you, have your home tested for mold. It only takes a day and a couple hundred bucks. I hope this helps somebody.

Going carnivore over 4 years ago knocked my psoriasis down but not completely out. After summer was over and my exposure to sunlight went down to virtually nil until the following spring was the worst time. This was a yearly cycle I noticed improvement this past fall when I notched up my vitamin D intake to keep my immune system up for cold and flu season. The “duh” light went on over my head - vitamin D deficiency !!! I did a bit of research and it turns out most people are severely vitamin D deficient. I went up ton10,000 IU a day and have seen incredible improvement in my skin. Look into it …

I was on vacation overseas and avoided dairy like the plague for 4 weeks and my psoriasis cleared up better than any medication or cream I've ever been on. Food journaling has also revealed problems with nightshade vegetables for me and my psoriatic arthritis. Red meat has been horrible for my digestion, with grains, even the "healthy" ones not far behind. I highly recommend food journaling along with symptom journaling. It's the kind of thing you have to see to believe sometimes.

Thanks Doc for trying. You probably have a point or few to make . In my opinion: There are simply too many variables in a diet that cannot be controlled to pin down to the ones you mentioned as probable causes. I had Psoriasis from age 45 to around 60. Used Salicylic products by the kilogram. Mysteriously disappeared even after I stopped medication. Never smoked and limited alcohol to wine and beer. But changed my lifestyle to active, attending gym, weight lifting (and still do at the age of 70) and cutting back on alcohol, grains, seed oil and sugar almost 99% and avoiding highly processed foods. And psoriasis is history.

Please do boost your diet with zinc...I suffer eczema...which is not far from psoriasis since they are having both allergic rxnz.
The inflammations are due to lack of zinc, and zinc in the diet at good levels, has good antiinflammatory properties.
Supplement your diet with pumpkin seeds...it's dense in zinc.
Also, ensure u get a diet rich in omega three...foods like Nile perch fish, crabs, oysters and salmon will boost ur omega three levels, which boost skin healing process from inflammation.
Another thing, the gut requires good level of lactobacillus bacteria to function well.
Ensure you incorporate a supplement of this bacteria.
Speaking to you, am seriously incorporating high zinc food in my system and omega three and I am improving.

There are generally two ways of getting rid of psoriasis which I tried and worked. One is the Keto diet (High fat, moderate protein, and very low carb) and the other one is the intermittent fasting (16, 18, OMAD daily or 36+ hour fast once a week) with little bit of the forbidden things e.g. Some grains, Some dairy (Full fat milk or Yogurt, Goat milk rather that Cow milk) etc. Honestly I found that it is very hard to maintain strict Keto long term, due to the obligations of our social life, but I found intermittent fasting comparatively easy to maintain long term. Whenever I have to eat something (Friend's home or office) that may trigger my psoriasis, I simply stop eating and only drink water after that for at least 18 hours to help my body cope with it. This way I can maintain my social life and also manage my psoriasis.

We then took him to a pediatrician who was also a clinical ecologist and allergy specialist. We learned that our son was terribly allergic to corn, sugar, wheat and some other foods that I don't really remember. We followed a strict diet, but relatives thought it was hogwash. They actually proved that the diet worked, because son was horrible after being fed garbage. As a teenager, the diet went by the wayside and psoriasis appeared with a vengeance. He now has psoriatic arthritis and takes biologics when it gets too terrible. I am going to ask him to watch your videos. He can start by eliminating corn and grains, which were a problem before.

I read years ago, then was confirmed by my functional medicine Dr., that babies who aren't born vaginally have more allergies and autoimmune issues because they do not get the microbes and flora via the mothers birth canal that helps protect the child to keep them healthy and fight disease... I think I must share my experience . I agree about the gut health being the priority and of utmost concern when it comes to abnormal immune response but the biggest thing I've learnt from my experience is one rule doesn't apply to all. We have to figure the food out ourselves, what benefits our gut health and what ruins it . I'm completely okay with dairy and grains but meat is tough for me to digest and makes me feel extremely bloated after meals . So my point is that one rule doesn't apply to all , everyone's body is different . Also , it's worth finding out about from the older generations in your family about their diet and lifestyle even though the food that they ate was completely different and definitely cleaner . But still worth finding out

My psoriasis started at age 13 after a severe strep infection. I was lean and athletic and have battled it ever since. I believe it is contaminated grains that are the culprit now. Most grains sprayed with glyphosate at harvest time. Roundup is most likely in much of our food supply. Grains have always biblically been an integral component of diets all over the world and without them billions would have perished. Infections can also trigger psoriasis, especially strep infections.

The cream they gave him made the scar on his face much worse. I have had Psoriasis for over 23 years, it in my case is not genetic but it showed up after a very stressful time in my life. I don't smoke or drink but carbs is the problem in my case. What makes my Psoriasis disappear is a Carnivore diet, it takes a couple of months of clean eating for this to completely work. I never gave up cheese or peppers but the fewer carbs I eat the better it is. About all I have left at this point is the scars...

Ken, I agree 100% with you! I had psoriasis and it all went away when I did the carnivore diet. I did it for a solid 6 months, only meat and water. Olive and coconut oil and mostly BBQ meat. I stuck to the protein and it did wonders for me. During the lockdown, I have started to use some wheat and grain product, and immediately I could see the inflammation flaring up. I started to itch at the places where I previously had the psoriasis spots.

If you took a candida diet and a daily intake of vitamin d3 it would have healed you faster, in about 1 month and a half.
Some say the carnivore diet cured them because meat has high doses of vitamin d, animals spend most of their time outdoors hence why they are filled with vitamin d and because of it they are also heavy in metals and yeast cannot survive in an acidic environment, but it is not healthy for the body, especially for the heart. Psoriasis is not due to overweight, it is due to an over population of yeast.
Every person who has psoriasis has intestinal issues, and this is due to too much yeast in the gut.
Psoriasis is a fungi, it is yeast overgrowth thats what it is. The yeast overgrowth eventually weakens the thyroid and therefore other organs become weakened. So by getting into a candida diet and eliminating sugar and starchy foods the yeast cannot survive.
For severe cases a high dosage of vitamin d3 will cure them but it can be dangerous, eventually developing hypercalcemia and deregulate the hormone balance in the long run, thats why it is prescribed to older population but if you are young getting a healthy diet will cure you naturally

I'd suffered with widespread Psoriasis Vulgaris for 40 years. Last year I stumbled upon research on B12/B6/Folic Acid around the time I had just began Keto - three months later I was 99% clear (and 3st lighter!) from either the supplements or in combination of low carbs. I hope this can help someone else. I am not a medical practitioner, do not take this as medical advice and do your own research - everyone is different.

I used to get psoriasis over my entire body. I had eczema on my fingertips from age 4 to around age 12. I then developed psoriasis to the extent that hospitalization was suggested. My mother had a panel of UV light made instead. At 19, a dermatologist told me I'd probably develop psoriatic arthritis and I promptly obliged. One in patient stay (weeks) and a few years later, Columbia Presbyterian offered an out patient program. I'd had some decent periods of remission and even what I'd call spontaneous remission. At 17, I hitchhiked cross country and by the time I got to CA, No psoriasis. Rock bottom at 22 when my sister taught me visualization. One month and I was in remission. I had a mild recurrence at 29, then nothing for 30 years. My skin was amazing enough for people to comment on it. People who had no idea I'd ever had psoriasis. At 59, I'm processing some intense emotional stuff regarding my mother. I find it interesting that the only way she paid any attention to me was if I had skin issues...I learned about nightshade plants many years ago and I attributed the eczema to dairy (my kids never had cow's milk) and I know my body does not like grains. Basically, I have employed these wonderful suggestions (with the exception of dirty martinis when out!) for years. I strongly believe there's an emotional component here and I'm suggesting all of the above plus meditation. This Doctor is exactly who I'd have been so grateful to know all those years ago!!

The 3 things that work the most effectively for psoriasis is:
    1. Keto Diet (Easiest, cheapest and most effective in my experience)
    2. Melanotan2 (Another VERY effective treatment. I can even eat sugary foods and take MT2 and still get rid of all the psoriasis)
    3. Lots of water (Optional, but imo very important part of keeping your skin smooth and clear instead of rough and dry)
Hopefully this will help someone out.
