Nice video. Especially with how rare comparisons are between the HTA5000 and HTA7000. I personally had the HTA7000 soon after it was released. Waiting for it to come out was very hype, to the point of getting a new TV table just to fit it perfectly (incredibly wide soundbar). While watching movies was a huge improvement from my previous bar (and it is indeed bassy), the Atmos effects were not as pronounced as I hoped for. The other thing was that for music, my previous 2.0 Sony sounded better. Even though it was good overall, I ended up returning the 7000.
But something unexpected happened a few weeks ago. A new Best Buy had opened and they had the HTA5000 with the RS3 rears and the SW3 subwoofer. It sounded amazing!! And I do not believe it had the update yet. I was able to shut off the Sub and/or Rears to hear the difference (which was noticeable). The sub made the biggest impact. If your eyes were closed, you would think that you were listening to two completely different soundbars.
For someone with a limited budget, but still a high-end option, I would take the HTA5000 with the SW3 sub over the HTA7000 by itself. That combo is just superior.
I would also take the HTA5000 with SW3 and RS5 over the HTA7000 + Sub SW3.
And with no budget, for my decent size living room, I would get the HTA7000+SW3+RS5s.
Having experienced the SW3 in person, it is more than enough for the average living room. If you are building a large standalone theater room, then the SW5 makes sense.
Just my two cents. Looking forward to listening to either with the 360 .
Great breakdown on experience. Maybe it’s because mine already had the updates installed I find the A7000 to be better with Atmos Effects and the soundstage was just better. I found vocal clarity to be better also. I am going to swap them out today again just to make sure 🤣 You will love your combo though if you go with the full setup!

I believe your TV size is 65 inch. How far are you sitting from the TV. I have 55inch now but planning to get new Sony QD-OLED but im confused if i should go for 65inch or same 55inch. My sitting distance is only 10 Feet from TV screen.
Was about to pull the trigger on the Sonos arc with One's and the Sub but ultimately went with the A7000, RS 5 and Sub. Thanks for the info!

If you think that Soundbar sounds good, you should review the Sonos Arc and sub!
you miss the point of this bar , it have hdmi 2.1 , thats mean you can hook your pc to the soundbar and the soundbar with earc to the tv ,so you can watch 4k blu rays movies or atmos content from the pc , as well as dolby atmos pc games , most of the tvs don't supprt dts audio format , and you still gonna run the 4k 120 hz connection ( every other bar is with hdmi 2,0 and cannot support 4k 120 fps
Can you expand on your opinion of the SW3 vs the SW5? Is there a noticeable difference in the sound quality, volume, how it hits? How do they compare for music?
I'm going for the X95K 65 inch and I'm also going to get the LG C2 55 inch the Sony TVs going to be paired with it HT-A7000 with the SA-RS5 and the SA-SW5 and undecided what soundbar to go for the LG because that one is just getting a Standalone soundbar.
Hi. Will the soundbar work if one side wall is farther away from the soundbar than the other?
I'm also curious about this. One side of my tv/living room extends into my kitchen... about 3x further to the wall (with shelves and stuff).
Hey all. I'm returning my Q990c because I need to turn the volume way loud to get that "thump" effect (not talking about sub-bass frequencies, but more the mids and background effects). Do you think the A7000 will be better in this regard, by itself. Sony has 45.5w per soundbar speaker while Samsung seemed to be 10-18w per speaker - just having more. I'm hesitant after my experience with the Q990c.

Yes I am very interested in that because of the bigger panel. The A95K is just the new hotness but 65” is just not big enough.
@@dannywinget yes, my 82" from my bedroom broke down couple months ago and I've been using a 65" that I had in the guest room and is just too small

No they are compatible with the A5000 as well.
I just bought the hta5000 it was working fine with the easy conection but now it doesnt connect perfect with my sony a80j cant control it with the tv remote control and the settings in the tv menu for the soundbar dont appear, can you help me?

I was thinking the TV looked really small but then realized you had a high ceiling.
Really in the end I need a 75” or 77” TV. I had a 75” there prior and it looked way more symmetrical
Why is the PS5 upside down
The PS5 when standing up can turn off during gameplay so some people set it on Its side to try and help prevent that from happening

It’s just a feature. The A90J acoustic panel works better than you would think!
Its not exactly using the TV as the center speaker. Rather, its using the TV to detect images and supplement the audio from the soundbar so your main source of center channel would still be the soundbar itself.
@@sphong0610 nope it actually uses the tv as a center channel. I’m not sure if the center channel on the sound bar is still being used I would think it’s a awesome feature if both are used at different frequencies or just used to share loads
@@christopherramirez6086yes the soundbar also emits the sound and combines itself with the center channel tv, basically it sounds amazing and hardly distorts
