Correct, a small population with strong community bonds and a homogenous culture and mindset in general. They do not import hordes of non-assimilating populations like the US and most European countries do. Finland is similar to Norway and Switzerland in that regard. The police do not even investigate minor theft such as cell phone theft. Immigrants commit a lot of crime in Finland especially towards school children. Many of the immigrants are very aggressive when you visit a city. Safety is a joke. They probably went and selected a few socialist leaning people to interview to maintain the narrative. Due to the worsening safety situation and corruption in leadership there have been record numbers of resignations from the reserves, including among reserve officers. Many people are voting with their feet against the mass censorship and mismanagement of the country.

In 1939, the Finish Army and loggers, and hunters were instrumental in stopping the Soviet Invasion. The regular loggers were so accurate with their weapons that the Soviets/Russians could not deal with the Finns. The Soviets retreated for a time, and re-evaluated their tactics. They came back with armor and some use of aviation.
