As i have learnt from my time on 4chan, it is incredibly hard to use on mobile, meaning that i doubt that he would be able to post at even half that speed. This is also assuming that he had a secure connection to the internet which may not be the case if it is underground.

I know this is a very old video now but I have lived in Elizabethton all of my life and know the exact building that was talked about in the posts. It’s an old factory called The Bemberg, it’s considered a supposedly “haunted” place by a lot of people who live around here. It’s located near a Walmart in a decently populated area. There is a large fence surrounding the building and it’s very damaged and used to have dogs and a lot of homeless people in it. My guess is “op” and Alex were the same person. There was never a report of a missing person named Alex or a death around that time.
I live in Blountville but go to this area often and it was strange seeing a video from a place i recognize.

I'm from a town in TN that's only about 20 or 30 minutes away from Elizabethton, TN. I can assure you that nobody from this area is gonna go take someone up on the offer to show up to a random abandoned place in the middle of nowhere. That's a good way to get killed and robbed. Alex was definitely the guy who made the original post.

In regards to the time discrepencies with Alex's posts, I'd also like to argue the case that the timespans are too short for someone exploring an unknown place. The fact that he keeps finding new stuff relitively quickly almost suggests that he knows what he is looking for and so is not really there for the first time. Even the most tiny abandoned places take me ages to pour over, and this appears to be a huge warehouse complex.

I know this post is 3 years late, but honestly, I just discovered your channel recently. I myself used to live in Elizabethton, for many years as a matter of fact. I went to the coordinates in the "destination" bar, that is actually a Walmart, paved parking lot. It's not the photo that's posted at the 2:07 mark, AT ALL. I hope that insight helps.

You also need to take into consideration that it's far quicker and easier to upload pictures to twitter than 4chan as after the first couple of posts you have to keep doing a human check, so 1 post/minute is even more unreasonable when you consider that he would've presumably had to walk around a little bit while in a pitch black, dodgy ass warehouse with a potential killer waiting for him outside. This would've been an interesting story if executed well but they gave it away with the post rate.

I appreciate the effort taken to try replicating the time between photo and post. That said, I think there are a couple possibilities you missed.
1. Assuming the poster is in the browser to post to 4chan, the upload dialog has an option to take new photos, which would remove the gap for switching apps and finding and selecting the photo.
2. You typed using individual letters, but could’ve been much faster using swiping to write out a message.
I feel like those two things could really shorten the timespan and make it more plausible that Alex isn’t OP, but it’s still a baffling mystery either way.
