5150 is the most underrated Van Halen riff of all time, in my opinion. Probably is overlooked cause it’s Van Hagar, even though Eddie wrote it before Hagar joined. Top of the World is personally my favorite riff, first EVH riff I ever learned. 🤘
Nice! My daughter is named Halen, huge VH fan obviously. Great job! Thanks for including 5150, as I’ve always thought that is a hidden gem of guitar genius.
As a bit of a guitarist myself, I couldn't help but notice what all guitarists notice and that's that there are just a LOT of different ways to play this stuff and although Danilo is really great and makes the tough stuff appear effortless, I DO believe that the way that I've been playing "Ain't talking bout love" is definitely better sounding and has much more fair and nuance. Heavy metal live matter
You mean all those crappy pop glam metal bands?
I would have had Drop Dead Legs in there. Such a smooth groovy riff

"Unchained" , for me, is the perfect VH tune. Hard, propulsive, joyful, and Diamond Dave at his extra-extraverted best.
"One break, comin' up!" :)
"Unchained" is quintessential Van Halen. "Romeo Delight" is up there too.
S. Miller Hear About It Later is underrated.
