      "He doesn't ROW?"
      "No, he DOESN'T row."
The hidden meaning is in the emphasis. Rosalind is confused, thinking Robert means that Booker is incapable of rowing the boat - which, as Booker proves by proceeding through Columbia as the protagonist of a FPS, is silly.
What Robert REALLY means, is that Booker DOESN'T row because that's simply not how the timeline plays out.

    God, I love these soundtracks.
The Ocean On His Shoulders - Regardless of what comes later... riding a rickety little elevator after ending up in Rapture, listening to Atlas talk about the family he just wants to bring back to the surface... watching a random Splicer beat pathetically on a door as you pass. It gives you a sense of the tragedy of Rapture - it was almost a utopia, and then everything came crashing down, and all that's left is a crumbling, leaking wreck full of superpowered, psychotic junkies.
Pairbond - Say what you want about 2, but... even the first scene alone. Watching through Delta's eyes as he slowly plods his way down a hall, then bangs on a pipe to pick up Eleanor. That moment of just... walking down a hall, spoke volumes. He's tired. Every day, going through a routine for which the "greater purpose" of doing so is long since gone. Nothing left to do but survive. And yet... Even so... If you can say hearing "DADDY, HELP!" didn't cause you to turn your back on 5+ Splicers just to rip the head off the one that was bothering the Little Sister you were guarding - even though you knew they couldn't actually hurt her... I can say I doubt you actually played the game.
Elizabeth - This one, oh... Another almost-utopia ripping itself apart from the inside - only this time, you watch it happen instead of arriving after the party's over. Sure it's got some tones of evil vs. evil going on, how are the Vox so much better than the Founders, etc., but there are still decent people here and there being dragged down with the sinking ship. And then there's Elizabeth. She goes from being kept locked up in a tower with "scientists" sitting behind her dressing room mirror with a camera and a bag of popcorn, to being caught in the middle of a conflict where everyone wants to use her for something or another. The Founders want their Lamb back. The Vox want to execute her to demoralize the Founders. Booker wants her as a bargaining chip for his debts... All she ever wanted was to go visit France and live for once, instead of viewing the world through books.

Anytime I was in a zone with sisters and we were collecting, nothing stressed me out more than making sure not a SINGLE enemy got to them. I think each theme fits each game. Bioshock's theme has this underlying theme of "This is awful, but maybe there's hope!" Bioshock 2's is far more sad, as if Rapture is nothing and has fallen, and Infinite gives this fading hope as it goes on.

Bioshock 1: What can I really say that hasn't already been said. The tragedy, the horror, the mystery. This game was the moment I realized I wanted to do more with my time than mindlessly wander open world games. The moment my eyes were truly opened to what a GOOD game could do to ones soul. I'll never truly forget Jack or Rapture and I sure as hell don't want to.
Bioshock 2: The game that almost nobody seems to like. And yet after playing the game multiple times, hearing any voice clips of Eleanor talking just makes me tear up thinking of the memories I had playing this game and immersing myself into the story of Subject Delta. I don't care who says it's a bad game, It gave me memories intense enough to cause me to weep at so much as hearing Eleanor calling out to Delta.
Bioshock Infinite: Booker and Elizabeth, truly the two most interesting characters introduced so far. A girl wishing to be rid of her cage and a man lost within the sea of infinity. These two really opened my eyes and gave me a chance to look back at the last two games with some new eyes. Seeing Jack and Delta as more than blank characters made for us to project onto. But real characters who are trapped within their own cages just as Elizabeth was. Jack, a cage within his mind. And Delta, A cage around his daughter.
These games are more than simple timewasters, they're living all on their own you simply need to let them be what they're meant to and you'll see the beauty of these fallen utopia's.
    So, would you kindly?

Bioshock 4... It's there, but we have not had any news for a long time. Ken Levine went full Andrew Ryan and set his toys one fire before anybody else could play with them. Burial at Sea was fun, but it makes me so sad that he severed the oportunity to see some of them again in future stories.
I still long for another city, in another world, filled with wonder that turns into horror. Maybe the development team for Bioshock 4 will get a good story in a few years and we can revisit its universe soon. Until then, at least I know there is a tear to a world were Bioshock is on the glory it deserves for years to come.

An Aroused Chiwawa Given the unused lighhouses for The Sea of Doors, I hope for a Xanadu city on the desert, a Shangri La on the mountains, and, while there is no indication for one, my personal favourite is an El Dorado city in the jungle.
We will get something, someday. We just have to show our support.

A man must stage on what could not,
The distant lighthouse bears behind the doors
And a city turn inside into rot
And all the manner of foes and more.
For an ocean weighed the burden to bear
To save or harvest those with or without care
Now, the doors, open to the tales shall share
From deep, or above, the monsters shall dare.

I just played the trilogy and it blows my mind how I missed out on such an impactful and beautiful game series. Every entry manages to have a depressing and sickly feeling yet always have a way of inspiring hope in dire situations. If there's one thing this game tries to convey, it's to always have hope even with life becomes hell.

There was two city’s, one where people believed in there prophets “religion”, it now lays in the sky, the other hidden in the ocean because its leader chose to hide from the surface and with his people to never be seen again, until it had collapsed into a city of hell.

I see that the altered cover art with the in game bioshock characters for the 3 bioshock games are accurate with the rapture theme letters by William Henry.
Bioshock & bioshock 2 share the use of the ocean on his shoulders soundtrack. Infinite has the Elizabeth soundtrack by itself.
Ocean on his shoulders from bioshock: it’s more of itself & I don’t know how I can describe it myself.
Pairabond by bioshock 2: both delta & Eleanor are separated after 10 years. After being resurrected subject delta/delta will fight through a devastated rapture to find her with Sinclair’s support.
Elizabeth: it’s more of itself about Elizabeth/Anna.

You’ve heard of the Rapture...We all have, the legend, the curses. Foolishness about it lying at the bottom of the sea nowhere to find, sinking up the corridors. A bright, shining monument luring master’s mind to their doom. The world’s most famous stars and entertainers to its Grand Utopia... An invitation was a sing of.... exclusiveness. The utopia was supposed to symbolize a road to a brighter future, not just for the world.... but for all who came live like that... a chance for them to begin again... Exept- the Rapture never become Utopia. The war destroy the city like break a house of cards. The Grand Utopia - one big ending of humanity. It’s still out there in the sea, preserved, just waiting for someone to... crack it open. But getting to it. That’s not the hard part...
    It’s letting go..
