I work as a robotic welder. (Meaning I work with a robot, not that I am a robot, although that distinction is blurring more every day.) I may start playing this over a Bluetooth speaker to soothe the machine spirit.
What is a robotic welder? I have never heard of that.
@@sebastienholmes548 basically, I work alongside a giant robotic servo arm with a welding torch on the end. It runs along a program of predetermined points and welds the plates together, while I tack the plates for the next run and weld on the finishing touches to the final product.

I have actually done this. A printer was mistakenly set to Hebrew and nobody could figure out how to set it back to English. I realized that because Hebrew is read Right to Left, that the menus were reversed. I restored comprehension amongst the remainder not so adept.

When I started playing Mechanicus, I started bowing to my laptop whenever I turned it on or off, as a funny internal joke because I was into the adpetus mechanicus' lore and all.
Then I started caressing the steering wheel of the car, as a thank-you for taking me places. I started talking to my bike. Convincing my phone to run a taxing app.
Before long, my respectful bow to my laptop started to become routine. I was actually glad I did it.
Then it became a ritual. I genuinely bow to it now, to thank its processing power for the work I do and entertainment I consume. Machinery around me now is treated with respect and care. I clean my laptop every Saturday morning, and I'm just short of humming a hymn to the machine spirit within while doing so.
Praise the Omnissiah.

A relative dropped a portable hard drive from my desk. I did not realize the damage done as it did not show up as much two days ago. At this 3rd day the degradation was too much and through the wisdom of the Omnissiah I started playing this and am able to transfer my files onto a new drive. Praise the Omnissiah.

As my machine for personal use has impoved exponentially and the capacity to mod STALKER has been finally unlocked, I am forced to ask for recomendations and advices.
@@johanninferus4845 I'd suggest you give Anomaly a try, It's a free standalone modpack built off Call of Pripyat. It's got the whole map from all three games and some additional areas that previously were lore only. The mod has a massive story and It has tons of options for tweaking the difficulty from small things like if you need to be sleepy in order to sleep to major things like how much stores overcharge you for basic necessities like water and ammo.

In the US Navy, we have but a handful of ships from a bygone era that, if absolutely necessary, could theoretically be pressed into service. HOWEVER, the amount of sailors on hand that know how to operate these venerable behemoths are so few that they are in essence closer to lostech. Even more so, replacement parts for the engines and guns are either in museums and simply aren't in production anymore. If these old dreadnoughts and battleships were pressed into service, the crew would need to regularly pray to the ships spirit to keep it going after having been dormant for decades.
We might just have a wonderful Mechanicus moment where we don't have any idea how the tech works and just have to hope we can keep it going.
As a soon to be Gunsmith, I shall be playing this during my classes and when I actually begin machining metals and carving wood furniture for the weapons I create. Praise be the Omnissiah.

The tragic irony of the machine cult is that behind that busty angelic iron form is several disgusting emaciated bundles of flesh, re-sheathed nerves and now vestigial sinew.

These deep sounds are actually something you could kind of hear like that in a cathedral if you get to hear the right piece. The really large organs have pipes so large the sound is so deep you cannot hear it anymore, but feel it resonating in your bones. I one got to hear one of those in the cathedral of colonge. That monster makes you feel the musik in your teeth. Absolutely insane and not something you could ever replicate.

When I hear this I picture hearing it eminating down a long dark hallway bathed in green light, the ceiling high above, the walls black and sleek, with almost circuit-like hyrogliphs, leading out into a great chamber, where thousands of part-human, part-machine humanoids clad only in rags and scrap metal, holding a glowing green light, all pray in unison, moving as one, like a surging current to a giant metal behemoth centred in the middle of this cavernous hall, bowed and still, but a deep drone eminating from inside it, almost like its praying alongside them, the bass of its "voice" gently rumbling every inch of floor as it utters a language only those who live under it's still, yet alive, gaze could understand.

My DM plays this over Roll20 during our campaign now as background music, fucking great. It helps that we're currently kicking down exhibits in one of Trayzn's museums.
You realize those exhibits are living things and priceless artefacts, the Imperium could use them, especially the Krork, we need him to divert Orks away to other threats, not to mention the Valhallan Ice Guard, Vostroyan Firstborn, Tanith Snipers, and the harlequin troupe, Yvraine would love those new troops, also the dude in Baroq Power Armour, pretty sure that Vulkan, also get Sebastian Thor's head would ya. Just call some buddies and they can bring a rouge trader to collect everything, and everyone, aboard their ship, I imagine the Mechanicus, Astra Militarum, Adeptus Astartes, Custodes, Ecclesiarchy, and Ynarri would thank you, the techpriests would likely want to make you a Magos just because of the tech you gave them, and the Militarum would likely make you the commander of the PDF troops on your homeworld, and the Administratum would likely make you the governor of your homeworld, not to mention all of the rewards and riches you would receive as tokens of gratitude.

Enough for him to start an entire Rouge Trader dynasty, while also being sponsored by multiple space marine chapters, especially the Salamanders and their successors since he'd be bringing back Vulkan, and Imperial Guard homeworlds for the return of their soldiers, some of the marines may not like deviating from the Codex in terms of chapter size, but space marines are space marines, and also more geneseed and dreadnoughts, not to mention he'd likely serve as a good conduit for some form of diplomacy between the Eldar and Humanity, it may sound heretical, but we've worked with the Aeldari and Harlequins on more than one occasion, and with the current situation with the Great Rift dividing the Imperium in two, maybe having an ally could help, which means free use of the Eldar Webway which means we can get to Imperium Nihilus, and the Echlessiarchy and Ordo Hereticus will probably look the other way since he brought back the head of one of the Imperium's greatest Echlessiarchs.
