BMW 2014 435i F32 msport rear diffuser install - lesson learned

- I have installed this rear diffuser on the 2014 f32 435i that I got from e-bay, not an easy fit, but totally improved the look of the car and the msport rear bumper looks a little bit more m performancy; I think later I will try to install performance tips, side and front trims as well to improve the exterior mods. I have also Ceramic coated the trim before install (thank you @normalguysupercar ). I recorded this video in November 2020 and I was hoping I could post the retrofit of the PMA, however once again we are waiting for parts that are somewhere in the post office limbo. Enjoy my misadventures and frustrations.

Hi @@miltonmatosreyes, I tried 2 things, on the right side that it was just a matter of positioning and a little bit of force, I used a little bit of grease and that was it. On the left side that the "guides wouldn't follow the bumper lines, I got a heat gun and made the plastic really hot and easy to bend (not to the point of distorting the part) and when it was hot enough I just pressed in. It was a fight... I am sad I couldn't film all that but my battery ran out :(... I hope it helps

Thank you Jonny, yeah we are still learning the art of doing videos. But yeah I think we improved after that one when it comes between the music and our dialog ;)
How did you get it to fit? I'm battling with one at the moment from ebay that seems at least 5mm too narrow.
The winning ticket for me was to heat the plastic with a heat gun and sort of mold it in

No at the end, a little heat with a heat gun and a lot of forced convincing got the job done

Hello, I congratulate you for your work, I will be glad if you help with something. I have a 2014 model BMW f30 vehicle I have installed 2 cameras in my vehicle, but it gives a calibration error, but the high-beam assistant comes on, lane tracking enters but does not read the speed signs, it does not reflect on the screen, so I think it gives the caliber error, what should I do. thank you in advance
Hi Arslan, we like that you like. When you say that you have a calibration error is when you run the calibration procedure and drive around? Or do you have this on your idrive as a warning message?? Also did you inject the FSC codes for the KAFAS module?

hi wandering it is not calibrated. I have no one here who did not ekleyın I am writing to you from turkey FSC codes, unfortunately you will have the chance to help me do I really need help
@@arslanksack2597 ok, so there are a few things that you need to check. 1) does turkey allow speed signs to be read by other BWM with the option from factory. If yes then 2) you can go to a windshield repair shop and ask them to calibrate the camera after windshield replacement, if nobody does that, then you need to find ISTA+ to do it yourself 3) if after doing all that and the symbol on your cluster still looks like - - - instead of giving you a red circle with a white background, then you need the FCS codes. If you message me troughs facebook, I can help you order these codes directly from BMW.
I got one from eBay it can assemble and took 10mins. To install
I got this one from eBay too, and as I said it can be hit or miss... definitely I got the one with gosling issues. Still it worked well and I am happy with it. how do you like yours?

F32/f36 (4 door 4 series) uses the same diffuser.
