Haha our pleasure. Sorry for the shock..! We visited Dennis again today, to meet some friends for breakfast and pleased to say that even the really smelly beach near the marina, was much cleaner today. Full maths to Denia. 🎊🎉💜🤟
The stretch of beach by the lovely Hotel Los Angeles is much more like one would expect. You didn’t reach that far, next time maybe.
We're sure we'll be back in future. We can check it out, as we do like Denia.

It was still warm, so it didn't bother us. I'm sure it would have looked a bit nicer in the sun, but it would still have smelled the same. 🤣

Firstly, the video. Loved the old fishing town area you found. We have been to Denia a few times and not been there before ourselves. Will hunt it down next time.

It's definitely worth hunting for the old town fishing village. So quirky. Right up our street.

Funny how we always moan about the wind or a drop of rain here, but for you guys that must've been lovely...I'm assuming rain isn't exactly frequent there?
Good to see the other sides of a town, and beaches that aren't always the picturesque ones, in reality that's at least half of them in most places. But they've all got their charms!

Allegedly our coast of Spain gets 300 days of sun, but when it rains, it's normally cats and dogs, especially the summer.storms. It is lovely during the summer as it takes some of the humidity away, makes it feel a.little nicer and gives that amazing smell..😍

It was a real shock to see that the Denia beaches were less than spotless, when the town itself is always impeccably presented and more over, because it is an expensive place to live, alongside Jávea...Hmm is there a theme here..?!?
Darren's food was a spicy tomato base, akin to Patatas Bravas if you had those while you were here. The food was very tasty.

You've obviously thought through the impact of selling your house in Potries and not buying another one in Spain, but how will this affect the terms of your residency in Spain as third country citizens? If you've been there for five years you're obviously lucky enough to be afforded the terms of the Withdrawal Agreement and have your NIEs and TIEs but doesn't your residency status rely on you either owning or renting a property in Spain?
The beauty of the area we live in is cheap rent! However, we have been advised that we can actually retain our residency for 6 years as long as we keep paying our taxes here. Additionally we are looking at buying a small apartment here next year. We have been trying (mentioned in earlier videos), but local estate agents don't seem to be in any rush to sell anything. We haven't even managed to get a viewing! But thanks for watching and your comment 🤟♥️

@@findingxanadulife I know Potries very well as I lived in La Font d'en Carròs for just less than a year. My daily walk was between the two villages.

We agree. If people have dogs, they should always clear up after then. It's part and parcel of pet ownership. If they can't do that, they shouldn't have a dog. 🤷🏼♀️💜🤟
