Interesting you had not heard of caqui before!! It is a very Mediterranean fruit, and one of my favorites because of its sweetness!!.Poor cat though!!😢
No, not even as a Persimmon until we came to Spain. In the UK, Persimmon is a housing development company. 🤷🏼♀️ Yeah, poor old boy, ignored like so many others.😭 But thanks to PEPA, SCAN, the other protectoras and the volunteers like you, who work tirelessly, there are a lot less than there would have been. 💕 Thanks for your support of us, in every aspect 😘🥰 Much love Alison and Darren 💜 🤟
It will be strange to see you both in places that aren't quiet Spanish villages! Bet you're proper excited though! Absolutely love persimmons, I'm pretty sure I've seen them advertised as that here in the UK just as much as they're called "Sharon Fruits", but now I'm doubting myself so will keep an eye out in the supermarkets etc. Heartbreaking to see that poor cat 😢 Lovely of you both to go back and feed it
We are both super excited now and getting more impatient by the day, it just can't come quick enough. We popped over to measure a few bits in the motorhome today and I (Alison) didn't want to leave. 🤣 Once we've visited my elderly parents in the uk for Christmas, we intend to come back and visit more of Spain, so we'll still be in quiet Spanish villages quite a lot, then french, then Italian and finding quiet villages in every country after that..! 🤞Next week's video is definitely out of our norm, there were people and cars everywhere. We don't tend to spend much time in the fruit aisle as Darren doesn't like much fruit, so I just grab the bits I want and leave. As for the little man, I wanted to bundle him up in a towel and bring him home for some TLC and just spoil him, but sadly the law has changed here and it's now illegal to remove them, so unfortunately all we could offer was food and making sure that their local town hall were aware of him and could act officially. It breaks my heart. I hope we don't find many on our travels, I can't turn a blind eye.💜🤟
@@findingxanadulife oh you'll be finding quiet (and not so quiet) villages all over, such a dream and very happy for you both! 😍 Yes we've wondered this about finding animals on our travels too, realistically we just can't take any, but I'm not sure I could resist and would at least want to find them a home or some care. I know the reality is harder, sadly.
Thanks Paulette, I did a quick Google search, but I have to admit we had never heard of persimmons until we got to Spain, thanks for watching and your comment as always, much love 🤟♥️
We are over the moon to be sharing our exciting news with you. We feel both brave and stupid, but it's time to start our dream of seeing the world.
Good luck with your caravan. I will follow your travels. All the best
Thank you so much. We are looking forward to it.
Much love Alison and Darren 💜🤟

We won't be able to keep any, but hopefully we'll be able to find a rescue, vet or authority that can at least help them. 🤞 💜 🤟
Such a great variety of towns and villages, however now im braced for locations from much further afield.
Haha there will still be more Spain and even some UK (Got to visit my parents-Alison) before we go too much further afield. 😬💜🤟
Those fruits are known as Sharon Fruit in the UK. No idea why.
Now I ( Alison) have heard of those. Trust the Brits to call them something completely different. 🤷🏼♀️
Thanks for the info Kev. 💜🤟
Caqui is also known as persimmon
