Yes, please do an MTHFR video! I trust you, and I have a lack of trust in so many others at this point. Would like to know if the genetic testing is worth the cost and what to do depending on the results.

Honestly I don't see the point. The largest RCTs involving MTHFR patients specifically show folate supplementation resolves their symptoms.
      It's a non-issue meant to sell supplements.

I wish this explained why homocysteine levels rise and what to do about that?

I am to the point where I watch you and two other UA-cam doctors because the others leave me with depression after I watch. Some just seem to be pitching expensive tests an make recovery look impossible. Like many others here watching your vids I have spent myself down to not being able to afford any office visits or tests. Spent already thousands $ to remediate my house of mold. 10+ years fighting this. Now trying again to get well. Went keto-vore about two months ago, didn’t make me feel better, just shifted my symptoms. Created a new protocol for myself based on your info and other kind doctors on here. Experiencing die-off now. I need to go back to work. I have to get better this time.

Good luck! I got some die off just from going lower carb. It's crazy. I think the hard (effective) work is making ALL the changes and sticking with them. Right now, aside from eating very clean, I'm trying to consistently chew well. It's a hard habit for me to get into after years of guzzling and eating on the run.
Sigh. I figure if I can get it right most of the time I'll be happy and ready to move on to the next *giant change.
      This channel is GOLD.
*Editing: it feels giant but it's not really. It's hard work to break a lifetime's worth of bad habits and it's taking a ton of effort to remember to slow down.

Nice video! A different topic for you but it was well presented & informative.
The course info from 11 minutes was well delivered.
I gives hope. I’ll subscribe to it when I’m able.

I use the beter forms of B12 and betain hydrochloride ( trimethyl glycine- stomach acid) for better conversion of homocysteine, SAMe ( energy and methyl donors ) and accessing the transulphuration -detox- glutathione production. It helps.

This is off-topic, but what test do you recommend, I currently use GI map but also have access to other labs, including microbiome labs to help someone with psychiatric issues. Are you familiar with the Dutch test?
