Once again, you are interpreting the verse that mentioning "rest" in a way that doesn't show any deficiency. If God can tell us about marriage so clearly, why doesnt he do so about having the Sabbath off?
Be careful how you ignorantly critise someone elses book when your own book becomes a trap for you. When the quran says allah is seated on a throne - does it mean Allah is resting, or Allah has a bottom and that there is a throne floating in the sky. When the word the Mother of the book is used in islam does it mean that the quran has a mother. The "rest" in the bible is referring to the Sabbath day. One of God name is Lord of the Sabbath. -Allah is not sitting on the Throne. It says استوى (levitate/elevate). And the form of levitation/elevation is not know or described so don't try and interpret on your own next time
-you have no idea about the arabic language to mention "mother of the book". I wish i can explain to you but, in a nutshell, our language is so rich that we can use a word for real and metaphorical meanings. So in this case mother can be in many meanings including: mother, origin, source, etc.

They raise voice, interrupt, jump from question to question, use double standards for Quran, but whenever we try to ask questions they say - “hey don’t interrupt” . I feel sorry for jews, they cannot even say the statement, God created and is a creator instead they say "No, it depends....then does not explain in plain english what it depends on so the layman can understand...so you have to be a psychological gymnasts and mathematician to simple recognise your creator (in jewish thinking there is a room for doubt that he maybe not you creator as it depends in his words "depends on what you mean"). It feels like in their faith you have to work out riddles all the time...no wonder 40% of jews have become athiest/agnostic, they have made their religion too difficult even the basic fundamentals like who your creator is, let alone the rest of the religion. Like how can you develop a close relationship with God and love God without understanding what you love about Him as you cannot pin down his qualities. So you cannot dustinguish Him from anything else.
Its simple, God (Allah swt) alone created the heavens and the Earth, so he is a sole Creator (no one else can be the Creator simple), that is his quality alone. This video educated me on the difference that the jews believe about God. I always asked myself "Why do jews go to hell? Don't we worship the same God without shirk?" I would like to know more about the Jewish beliefs that would be considered blasphemous to us muslims.
